Comparative analysis of credit services of non-bank institutions

The aim of the Bachelor's Thesis is comparative analysis of non-bank loan institutions in the Czech Republic from the consumer perspective. It also intends to put them into context with other related topics and to evaluate the hypothesis of disadvantageousness of non-bank credits in comparison with bank credits. The theoretical part deals with financial literacy, differences between bank and non-bank institutions and results of previous qualitative research of their credit services. Attention is paid to the ethical problem represented by usury. Pawn shops and presentation events are mentioned as well. The thesis focuses on property seizure, personal bankruptcy and debt consultancy of non-profit organisations too. The practical part of the thesis contains comparison of selected non-bank institutions and comparison of a loan product of a concrete bank and one of non-bank company. The practical part also contains comparison of important non-profit debt counselling centres in the Czech Republic in terms of their services and their way of funding. The conclusion of the thesis aims to suggest solutions to risks of non-bank credits for consumers.

J. Průšek was a prominent Czech sinologist, founder of the Czech sinology, professor and vice-dean of the Charles University in Prague Faculty of Philosophy & Arts, head of the Department of Sinology of the Palacky University in Olomouc Faculty of Philosophy & Arts, for many years director of the CSAS Oriental Institute and member of many Czech and international societies of sinology and other scholarly organisations.

The inventory of the personal papers of the Czech lawyer Kamil Henner senior (1861–1928). He was especially concerned with questions of canon law. His papers are preserved unfortunately very fragmentary. Assessment of shopping atmosphere in selected stores of retail chains Albert and Billa

The objective of the thesis is to assess shopping atmosphere of two selected stores Albert and one store Billa and to propose options for improving of any deficiencies. Personal visits and online survey are the chosen methods for the assessment. Thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter characterizes shopping atmosphere, shopping environment and business unit. The second chapter describes selected supermarkets Albert and Billa, their organizational structure, ownership and interior and exterior design of selected retail units. The third chapter is practical and assesses the own shopping atmosphere of the stores by using SWOT analysis, pairwise comparison and online survey. Evaluation of the results and proposed possible solutions for improvement of negative points are listed.

The proceedings of two workshops (2004, 2005) in the cycle entitled "By Invitation of Masaryk Institute" are included in the collection of papers of the same name. The workshops deal with questions that are still alive, and with the main features of modern Czech and European history. They are intended for the specialized and general reader. The first workshop was dedicated to Czech political realism at the turn of 19th and 20th centuries, the important ideological stream, which was traditionally represented by T. G. Masaryk. The second workshop, named Expectations and Frustrations: Memories of the Third Republic, offered interesting personal testimonies of active participants of political events between 1945-1948.

Analysis of product offerings account for kids on the Czech market and customer preferences

This diploma work describes a specific banking product children account on the Czech market. Compares existing product line with the requirements of potential customers. Its aim is to monitor the product in the portfolios of Czech banks, analysis of the marketing mix for market leaders, evaluation of preferred features of the product from the perspective of potential customers and their motivations. Produces results useful for product managers of the products in banks, workers of marketing departments of banks, personal bankers, employees of advertising agencies and also for those who seek this kind of product. Based on the findings, recommendations regarding this product are formulated, as well as recommendations for other marketing mix areas.

Possibilities for developing sustainable transport in Prague

This diploma thesis is concerned with the issue of sustainable transport. In the theoretical part, the emphasis is placed on setting the concept of sustainable transport into a broader context; it also describes various factors influencing the choice of the means of transport, which is crucial for transport planning. Furthermore, it describes a set of diverse tools used for transport regulation. At the end of the theoretical part, it mentions specific approaches implemented in selected cities all over the world. The practical part is based on a significant personal research, which helps to understand the issues of transport in a selected area of Prague. On the basis of this research, it subsequently suggests possible measures that might lead to a decrease in the intensity of automobile transport in the aforementioned area. Most of those measures can be similarly applied in other city areas as well.

Child, Illness, Hospital

My bachelor's thesis is called "Child, illness, hospital". These three words express the theme. I chose the topic of a hospitalized child for several reasons. Among them is my volunteering in Motol teaching hospital, my work experience in Dětské Kardiocentrum and least but not last a personal experience from my childhood.
