The aim of this bachelor thesis is the description of subdelivery management in a construction company. The work is focused on a given problem from the perspective of the contracting authority, as well as from the perspective of the subcontractor himself. The text is divided to two parts. The theoretical part explains the given terminology, while the practical part represents a specific construction company and describes various systems used for subdelivery management of the given company. Part of the work is dedicated to the analysis of subdelivery management in a previously delivered contract, followed by my own delivery companies management procedure.

This thesis describes a subcontract management in a construction company. The theoretical section explains the terms of project management and project organization. This is followed by a practical section explaining how a construction company and its system of processing selects a subcontractors. This part of the thesis describes the filling of a particular construction order. The last part is the evaluation of the construction company’s current system and the system’s eventual improvement.

The aim of this master´s thesis is to analyze the process of recruitment and selection of employees in the chosen company to identify its strengths and weaknesses and propose measures to increase the effectiveness of this process. The master´s thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part defines the essential terms and provides basic solutions for the issue of recruitment and selection of employees. The practical part presents the selected company, evaluates the process of recruitment and selection of employees and presents suggestions to improve the functioning of the whole process. The practical part also includes a survey, which examines employee satisfaction with recruiting and selecting new personnel.
The selection process of an information system

This diploma thesis focuses on the selection process of the enterprise information system in the enterprise. The general investment process and vendor selection process are described in the theoretical part. This part also includes the analysis of the specifics and differences of the selection process of the information system and recommended methodology for public tender. The optimized selection process of enterprise information system is designed on the basis of specialized literature and found deficiencies. The applicability of the proposed process in practice is assessed through comparison with a case study of a successful selection of an information system in the final part of the thesis. The design can be considered usable in practice according to the described transformation of the tender in the case study to the proposed process. The application of the thesis outputs brings reduction of the required effort and increases the success rate of the selection process of the enterprise information system.

The Master's Thesis is focused on the process of recruitment and selection of applicants for business consultant positions in an unnamed insurance company. The position is characterized by frequently repeated demand for recruitment of new workers. Therefore the requirements for effectiveness of the process of recruitment and selections of suitable applicants increase. The goal of the Master's Thesis is to evaluate current effectiveness of partial steps of the process and uncover ineffective parts of the process. Based on uncovered ineffective sub-processes a set of recommendations which would help increase the overall effectiveness of the process will be given.
Analysis of selection and recruitment of employees for the Institutions of the European Union

The goal of my thesis is an analysis of selection and recruitment procedure for the institutions of the European Union. It will be achieved by description of basic rules and methods that are used during this process. The main part of my thesis represents a questionnaire survey that was conducted among the group of current employees of the European Union institutions. The survey aimed at confirming the two working hypothesis that have been set. In case of finding any weak points of the procedure, I will suggest appropriate measures for improvement.

Recruitment and selection of employees is one of the most important activities in the personal department of company. The aim of my thesis is to analyze the process of recruitment and selection of employees, firstly from the theoretical point of view and further from the practical experience in the company ČSOB, a.s. I have summarized theoretical findings and recommendations regarding the process of recruitment and selection of employees according to the available literature in the practical part of my thesis. The practical part continue with the analysis of this process in the company ČSOB, a.s. This analysis has been realized on the basis of internal documentation, interviews with employees of the personal department and my own findings acquired by participation in selection procedure and assessment centre. As a last source of information for evaluation of this process I have used results of questionnaire examination that was realized in cooperation with the bank in April 2010. To finish my thesis I have summarized possible recommendations for improvement of the process of acquirement and selection of employees in ČSOB, a.s.
Selection and Admission of Staff on the Labour Market in the Czech Republic

The diploma thesis deals with used aspects of admission of new staff. Czech labour market is described in brief , including the recent trends in the unemployment rate. The work attends to the process of admission of new staff, variety of methods, mode of choosing and the steps of selection new staff. There is a chapter that deals with strategy and instruments of staff selection, especially CV and interview. The final chapter is dedicated to the question of discrimination in respect to staff selection.
