Moreover, the thesis provides details about the latest reform of the system. The main objective of the thesis is analysis of main factors that contributes to high growth of health care costs. Technological development, consolidation of markets and ineffective setting of health care reimbursement are identified as some of the main contributors to high cost in the U.S. health care system.

Comparison of selected reporting tools in the context of managerial decision-making
Špičák, David ; Maryška, Miloš (advisor) ; Matyáš, Ondřej (referee)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to design a comparison process for reporting tools with accent on managerial decision-making needs, and to demonstrate its use in practice by comparing two selected reporting tools. Theoretical foundation, on which the thesis is built, is created first. The main accent is put on introducing performance measurement and management and the role, which is played by reporting in relation to it. Reporting itself is subsequently addressed in more detail separately. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on analysis and synthesis of findings stemming from review of literature, theses dealing with related topics, and scientific articles published electronically. The practical part of the thesis deals with the introduction and utilization of the designed comparison process for reporting tools with respect to the tools' suitability for supporting decision-making. The process was used to compare Tableau Desktop and Eclipse BIRT. Outputs in the form of graphs and dashboards from Tableau Desktop, which - given the chosen criteria and their weights - achieved higher score in comparison to Eclipse BIRT, were used to demonstrate their possible use in the context of decision-making. In the practical part of the thesis comparison is used based on the designed process, defined method of calculating criteria weights and evaluation system. Criteria weights are calculated using Fuller's pairwise comparison method. Generic information shown is based on the analysis and synthesis of related publicly accessible business, economic, marketing and product information. The thesis puts reporting into the context of decision-making process, more specifically into the context of its role within performance measurement and management. The conclusion that can be drawn is that even though there are numerous processes, approaches, methods, disciplines etc. dealing with performance measurement and management, it is reporting that provides the means enabling smoother decision-making. Thanks to reporting it is possible to access large volumes of data and information stored in the source systems, transform them and present them to users in a way which will support their decision-making needs. The contribution of the thesis lies in the creation of a flexible process for reporting tools comparison. The introduced process can be used by any organization dealing with the matter of choosing the most suitable reporting tool from more alternatives. The introduced process enables organizations to use a clearly defined sequence of steps, while at the same time allowing them to choose appropriate parameters best fitting their needs. Thus, the introduced process reflects the fact that priorities and needs of organizations may differ and therefore it is not possible to introduce a set of rigid criteria suiting the needs of all in general.

Pospíšil, David
This work deals with the structure, function and design of interior natural element. It is oriented to form a comprehensive survey mainly in the use of new materials and technologies in the formulation and implementation of a natural element - indoor aquarium. The aim is to custom design the aquarium into a specific interior. The work includes an introduction to the topic of aquarium furniture and the aquarium itself. History and solutions in connection with claims for technology and design. The output is own design: design documentation and visualization. The work also introduce modern concepts of natural aquarium as a solitary element of the interior design, with an emphasis on modern technology, energy efficiency and functionality in the interior.

Comparison of Zend and Nette Frameworks
Olišar, Petr ; Mittner, Jan (advisor) ; Burkoň, Lukáš (referee)
This thesis is focused on presentation and comparison of Zend and Nette frameworks in their latest versions, which were available on 29 November. This is achieved by 2 ways: using the public sources and writing out 2 almost the same web aplications using Nette and Zend frameworks. The main output of the thesis is comparison of qualities of the two frameworks, which is based on undertaken measurements. The work has 3 sections. The first section introduces us with a method, which was used to compare frameworks, then with metrics and scoring of each criterion. The introduction of Zend and Nette framework and MVC pattern can be found in second section. The last section is crucial, it finally copares Zend and Nette framework.

Synthetic Data Set Generator for Traffic Analysis
Šlosár, Peter ; Juránková, Markéta (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This Master's thesis deals with the design and development of tools for generating a synthetic dataset for traffic analysis purposes. The first part contains a brief introduction to the vehicle detection and rendering methods. Blender and the set of scripts are used to create highly customizable training images dataset and synthetic videos from a single photograph. Great care is taken to create very realistic output, that is suitable for further processing in field of traffic analysis. Produced images and videos are automatically richly annotated. Achieved results are tested by training a sample car detector and evaluated with real life testing data. Synthetic dataset outperforms real training datasets in this comparison of the detection rate. Computational demands of the tools are evaluated as well. The final part sums up the contribution of this thesis and outlines some extensions of the tools for the future.

Evaluation Of Exchange Rate Regimes During And After Currency Crises
Zadák, Miroslav ; Durčáková, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Mandel, Martin (referee)
Currency crises have become an essential part of one's economy life. The periodicity of currency crises and its implications towards the real economy is an issue which the international economics should bear in mind. The thesis which I am presenting tries to give an overview how the exchange rate regimes interact with the currency crises. Firstly, the Market Pressure Index (MPI), which is used for catching the crises, is introduced. Then after the introduction chapters I use gathered data to analyze the observed crises. The last chapter is there to give a summary about obtained knowledge. The most valuable information, regarding the currency crises, is that the stricter the monetary regime after the currency crises is the less of the output occurs. This is the main finding emerged from the pre and post analysis of monetary regimes. Another finding is that the loss of output is primarily connected with a shift from any pegged arrangement to a floating arrangement. The shifts which took place under the pegged arrangements completely do not seem to have an impact towards the real output. Finally, Real Exchange Effective Rate seems to be an element which connects all the studied crises. This opinion reflects the current research topic in international economics.
