Alternative Energy Sources with Focus on "Solar Energy Sources in Present Practice"

The thesis deals with the problems of alternative energy sources with focus on solar energy sources in present practice. The thesis introduction explains the reasons of the changes in the global fuel-energy balance and their adverse effects, characterizes individual alternative energy sources and their practical applicability. The main focus is on exploitation of solar energy. After explaining the principle of thermonuclear reactions as the source of energy in the Sun, the thesis analyses the question of production of photovoltaic cells and a solar module. It describes the types of commonly used accumulators, charges and voltage transformers. It points out all factors, which must be taken into account when handling solar panels in practice. In the last chapter, it in particular deals with the didactic instructions for teaching the topic of alternative energy sources at elementary schools, as well as the need for introduction of the mentioned topic to teacher colleges.

Bakalářská práce se v prvních dvou částech věnuje faktickému shrnutí, analyzování a porovnání veškerých zdrojů energie. Jsou zde formulovány souvislosti v nichž se využití neobnovitelných a alternativních zdrojů v současnosti nachází. V následujících oddílech posuzuje strukturu energetických zdrojů a vysvětluje podstatu a východiska energetického problému nejprve v rámci Evropy respektive Evropské unie a následně v České republice.

Efficiency of Production of Electric Energy from Renewable Resources in Czech Republic

Bachelor's thesis will focus on the efficiency of electricity generation from renewable resources which are important in Czech Republic. This topic is current issue and is being discussed nowadays. I chose this topic because of personal interest and topicality. There will be explain economic efficiency, efficient allocation, Pareto efficiency, private negotiation, Coase theorem and the basics of power generation in the theoretical part. In the analysis part there will be define current energetic legislation in Czech Republic, each of four important renewable resource (water, air, solar, biomass) and its effect, value, importance and economic evaluation. The objective of the thesis is to analyze electricity generation form renewable resources and assess the outputs.

Efficiency in the use of photovoltaic cells for energy production

Master's Thesis considers the idea of use of renewable energy sources for the generation of electricity. On the basis of reports on climate warming, the European Union took measures, which are mandatory for all Member States and aimed to increase the share of renewable energy in total energy production by 2010. Czech Republic has committed itself to produce 8% of energy from renewable energy sources, the government has created a system of subsidies to renewable energy sources and a system of redemption prices. These measures make energy very expensive. This work deals with the origin of these measures, which are reports on global warming. My work is also comparing predictions on the future status, as well as examining the advantages of investing in renewable energy sources and comparing the prices of subsidized energy with other types of energy.

Omezené zásoby ropy a alternativní zdroje energie ? energetická závislost a její vliv na světovou ekonomiku

Práce pojednává o postavení ropy ve světové ekonomice jako jedné z nejdůležitějších energetických surovin. Je zde podána hlubší charakteristika ohledně světových zásob ropy, světových trendů ve spotřebě ropy, investic do ropného průmyslu, ekologických dopadů vyvolaných spotřebou ropy, energetické závislosti světové ekonomiky na ropě a charakteristika využití ropy v dopravě. Další část práce je věnována využití a aplikaci alternativních zdrojů energie v dopravě a podrobnější charakteristice biopaliv a vodíku, jako alternativ ke konvenčním palivům.
