Innovation and access to customer according to Thomas Bata

This batchelor thesis deals with the customer's, innovative and social policy in the way, how was performed in Bata's company. The goal of this thesis is to evaluate if the Bata's business principles in these areas are or aren't actual in the present. To achieve this goal were in particular areas first named methods perfomed in Bata's company. Then was mentioned current theory and final the comparison. The ideas of topicality or not topicality particular areas were mentioned in two ways of view -- the opinion of author and the opinion of employment in companies, which were asked.

Transparency of grant policy in towns of Czech Republic

The (Master's) Thesis deals with the process of awarding the grants to the municipalities. The main emphasis of the Thesis is put on the following questions: who (political representatives in particular committees, councils and local authorities, or clerks), under which standards and in what way decides about the funds distribution. The research will be made in chosen municipalities. There will be given certain standards that will serve as a base for the research analysis of the transparency of the process of awarding the grants. In the primary phase, the data will be collected by the means of standardized interview of particular municipal employees concerned with grant policy. The secondary phase of the research will be based on desk research method. The research will challenge the hypothesis that the grant programmes in municipalities are transparent. Among the analyzed variables, there are objectives of the grant, requirements for awarding of the grant, authors of the grants, people responsible for awarding of the grants, grant beneficiaries, the amount of contributions, supervision over funds distribution and release of the grants.

The influence of international actors in the fight against organized crime: Case study Colombia

The thesis deals with the influence of international actors in the fight against organized crime. The issue of combating the organized crime is pictured on the case study of Colombia. Colombian organized crime is largely associated with drug trafficking, therefore the thesis concentrates on options for addressing drug problem. USA as the most important market for Colombian drug production is a major ally of Colombia in the fight against drugs. The thesis focuses on the joint policy initiatives of the USA and Colombia to resolve production and drug trafficking. The aim of the thesis is to find out possible solutions to adress drug trade and identify the benefits and shortcomings of antidrug policies for the case study of Colombia.

The comparison of the consumer protection in the Czech republic and Germany

Nowadays, during the era of the international trade's liberalization, the efficient consumer protection is very important, especially to the advanced countries. The consumer policy is changing and developing continually in order to protect consumers sufficiently and not to restrain producers and dealers overmuch. At the beginning of my Bachelor thesis, fundamental terms and theory connected with the consumer protection is mentioned. The main part deals with the comparison of the consumer protection in the Czech Republic and Germany especially focused on the legal regulations and consumer policy institutions in both the countries. There is some information about the historical evolution of the consumer protection mentioned, as well. The last part includes summary of the important facts and distinctions between the solutions of the consumer protection in both the countries.

The problems of bullying from the points of view of the prevence - methodists in České Budějovice

The theme for the whole work was chicane. The exact name of the work is: Problems of chicane from the point of view of school methodists in České Budějovice. The aim of this work was to find out knowledge of school methodists in problems of chicane, then practicalness of the solution, observance of the minimal preventive programme and effectiveness of the primary prevention. The current state was extracted from scientific literature. Chicane, its developmental stages, forms, victim, aggressor, progresses of the solution, primary prevention, function of the school methodist, minimal preventive programme - this all is described there. There was a qualitative research used in this work, where the means of collecting data was a semistandardized interview. This interview was made of 39 questions connected with chicane, appearence of chicane at the primary schools, minimal preventive programme and primary prevention. Observed sample was made of 5 school methodists taken from primary schools in České Budějovice. The research showed that the respondents had no adequate information connected with problems of chicane. They do not know exact definitions of chicane or its developmental stages and main policy of solving chicane. The positive thing about this is that the respondents confirmed presence of chicane at their school. This means that they do not leave this problem behind. Respondents know what the minimal preventive programme means and they follow it. According to their oppinions the primary prevention is poor. The results showed that there is a need of the further education of the school methodists in problems of chicane. There is a need of more effective primary prevention. This work can be used in practice for getting or completion of scientific knowledge connected with problems of chicane. With help of described practice of solving chicane this abstract can be also used as briefing.

The Current Financial Crisis and Its Impact on International Trade

The thesis is aimed at explanation of the factors that led to the creation of the current financial crisis in their mutual context. Emphasis is placed on the way of providing mortgages in the USA, policy of FED and credit derivatives. The impacts of the crisis on banking, stock and commodity markets, building industry and automotive industry are discussed as important determinants of international trade. It is shortly mentioned how countries like Germany, China or Czech Republic dealt with the crisis. The final part of the thesis is devoted to the impacts of the crisis on international trade, these impacts result from the issues that are described in the first two parts. Discussed are the commodity and territorial structures of the international trade during the years of crisis. Also the impacts on the foreign trade of the Czech Republic are stressed.

Innovation policy of Brazil and its impact on Brazilian foreign trade

This thesis aims to analyze the Brazilian innovation policy and its impact on country's foreign trade. The first chapter features an introduction to the innovation policy and a general economic overview of Brazil. The second chapter analyzes the main indicators of the Brazilian innovation system. The third chapter explains the government's innovation policy and the specific measures to boost innovation activity within the country. The fourth chapter analyzes the exact influence that the Brazilian innovation policy has on the country's foreign trade.

The Czech Republic policy towards the new Vietnamese immigrant minority

This Bachelor's thesis deals with the issues of the Czech Republic policy towards the Vietnamese ethnic, in particular in the period of the two last decades. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter introduces the Czech migration and refugee politics since the establishment of the independent Czech state. The second chapter treats the main Vietnamese immigrant waves since the 1950s up to the present. The last chapter analyses integration, or in fact assimilation of the Vietnamese etnic into the Czech society . The thesis aims to provide the reader with a complete analysis of the Vietnamese issue in the Czech Republic. It tries to give an objective view on the life situation, conditions and reasons of the Vietnamese which contribute to the choice of the Czech Republic as their destination. In addition, it discusses the devices the Czech Republic employs towards the Vietnamese ethnic and also explains what, in some cases, prevents the Vietnamese integration into the majority society.

Impact of international migration on the labour market of the Czech Republic

Bachelor thesis deals with the issue of the international migration to the Czech Republic. Text also includes the introduction to this theme. Then the there are theoretical concepts and explanation of particular types, factors, reasons and stages of migration; there is parsing in detail of migrants according to their administrative-legal status as well. Then there is an explanation of current development of migration to the Czech Republic and its possible influence on the Czech economy by means of tables, graphs and data from Czech Statistical Office. The bachelor thesis contains description of particular legislation which deals with rights and obligations of migrants in the Czech Republic. At ending there is a summary of total impact of foreigners on the labour market of the Czech Republic and also my ideas how to perfectionise the migration policy in favour of the Czech Republic.
