Design of detection tool for security gaps of servers in wide network
Chudý, Martin ; Zápotočný, Matej (referee) ; Sedlák, Petr (advisor)
This Master’s thesis deals with proposal of server security gap detection system placed into wide network. On the base of detection system ouput there are rules for scanner data evaluation. After detecting specific security vulnerabilities is created methodology for fixing security gaps onto servers.
Recruitment methodology of real estate into real estate agencies
Kolářová, Zuzana ; Klika, Pavel (referee) ; Klišová, Jana (advisor)
This thesis deals with the processing of methodology recruitment of immovable property to real estate agency. Graphs will be processed on the basis of completed questionnaires. The best procedure for a real estate agent will be designed, how to proceed with recruitment to obtain Real property for his real estate agency.
Software tool for factory acceptance test
Dostál, Adam ; Blažek, Petr (referee) ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work is focused on the implementation of functional tests within the software project in the field of energy in the company Unicorn. The theoretical part describes in general the project methodology of software development and the methodology Rational Unified Process (RUP). In addition, the test methods are included, and the quality management model FURPS+. The last section introduces functional tests, including a description of those that are used to test the developed application. The practical part consists of description of the energy project Nemo Link, developed application Nemo Link Dispatch System (NDS), individial application modules, test enviroment, used tools and designed test methodology. Based on this methodology, individual selected tests are performed and evaluated.
Initial Project of Launch of a Corporate Information System - Methodology Proposal
Hrbatová, Gabriela ; Moravec, Petr (referee) ; Jakubcová, Marie (advisor)
This Baccalaureate work deals with a proposal of efficient methodology for leading the initial project, which is of a crucial influence on the successful launch and use of a corporate information system. During the course of the initial project corporate processes are analyzed, communication rules are set, data structure following its migration is defined, integration with other specialized products is ensured, the master schedule is worked out and the controlling mechanisms, milestones and criteria of acceptance are determined. Management of the initial project of the information system represents a very sophisticated activity with significant organizing and capacity demands on both the business and its managers. The target of the methodology is to set up and create clear conditions of the initial project management to be followed by all participants during the whole process.
Structural diagnostics of the historical building construction
Řezáčová, Veronika ; Láník, Jaromír (referee) ; Schmid, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the methodology, implementation and evaluation of diagnostic work units and structural elements of the historic schoolhouse building. Includes a static assessment of the horizontal structure and conceptual design layout adjustments for potential revitalization in case the object.
Network tester
Haško, Juraj ; Fujdiak, Radek (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
The thesis deals with data network testing. The aim of the thesis is to design a methodology for the comprehensive measurement of network transmission parameters and design of the tester concept and realisation by helping to extend the existing JMeter program.
Standardization of expert methods in detecting defects in design documentation developed by 1949
Urbánek, Zdeněk ; Mikš, Lubomír (referee) ; Moudrý, Ivan (referee) ; Matějka, Libor (advisor)
The work is focused on defining the methodology expert procedures for detecting defects in the project documentation in 1949. No legislation or literature this issue far more does not, it is a specific area that the project documentation defects generally are. The methods of the research study; analysis of documents; classification; Analysis - synthesis; induction - deduction; abstraction; comparison (comparison) case studies. Dissertation is focused on creating a systematic procedure for processing expertise, assessing defects in the design documentation in a limited period from 1880 to 1949.
Software support for alarm security system design
Kutnar, Václav ; Zeman, Václav (referee) ; Burda, Karel (advisor)
Intrusion alarm systems are an important part of quality security of residential, commercial, and other types of buildings. It is necessary to sufficiently and broadly asses the object and its surroundings. This bachelor's thesis proposes a methodology that should help with this designer. The thesis first discusses the general procedure of system design, relevant standards, then the elements of mechanical security of buildings, and burglary statistics in the Czech Republic. Based on this information, a methodology is then developed and software implemented, which, based on the entered information, will provide the designer with information important for the quality design of the system. These include possible object vulnerabilities, potential intrusions, the security level of the system, and more.
Design of methodology for determining roughness coefficient of open channels
Smelík, Lukáš ; Havlík,, Aleš (referee) ; Šoltész,, Andrej (referee) ; Uhmannová, Hana (advisor)
Determination of immeasurable parameter, the Manning’s roughness coefficient, is a complex problem of open channel hydraulics for more than 200 years. Now it doesn’t exists a method for determining an exact value of 1D roughness coefficient for computation water levels in watercourses. Doctoral thesis is focused for comparing different approaches to determine a roughness coefficient, especially for empirical equations. It were sought empirical equations, which are suitable for wide spectrum of water stages, types of bed material, channel shapes and channel dimensions. Selected equations were sorted on the base of two methods by the best values of medians and standard deviations of measured and computed values of roughness coefficients. Furthermore, it were compared qualities of roughness coefficient determination by tables, by photographic catalogs, CES software and by Cowan’s method, which has been extended and recalibrated. The computed values of roughness coefficients by those four methods were compared with values from own measurements in 27 locations in watercourses near of Brno and Frýdek-Místek. Also it were compared the grain size curves determined by sieving, by Wolman’s method and by Subjective estimation. Doctoral thesis is marginally focused for beginning of sediment movement, roughness coefficient of bedforms (dunes), grass and trees.
Methodology for Testing of High-speed FPGA Cards
Šulc, Tomáš ; Oujezský, Václav (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
This work deals with design and implementation of a methodology for testing RAM memories connected to an FPGA circuit on Combo cards. In theoretical part of the work RAM faults are sorted by the way they affect the function of the memory and the algorithms to detect them are specified. In practical part, the methodology for testing RAM memories located on Combo cards are proposed, implemented and verified. The NetCOPE framework was used for the implementation. Within the NetCOPE structure, the project was divided into a hardware accelerated application for an FPGA circuit and a software application for a host computer. The project was designed with respect to an easy transfer to other versions of Combo cards.
