Design of an HVAC system in a retrofitted family house

This work is devoted to the design of a microclimate facility in a family house. The first part contains analysis of thermal losses before and after using thermal insulation. Based on this analysis, a heating system is proposed, including the necessary technical calculations for the operation of the system. As a heat source, a condensing boiler is selected. At the next point, the thesis focuses on the calculation of the heat gains in selected rooms in order to design a cooling device. A multisplit system is selected for cooling the rooms. In the next part the thesis deals with the design of forced ventilation of selected rooms. The ventilation system provides the necessary air exchange and covers heat losses through ventilation. At the end of the thesis is outlined the concept of regulation of individual systems and also the requirements for individual professions are described.
Space heating and ventilation in a two-generation house

This Master's thesis deals with the evaluation of a current state of two-generation villa and its following proposal of the optimization. Evaluation includes calculation of heat loss of a current state. Optimization is based on the reduction of heat loss in the building, pressure balance of the system, change of heat source and installation of balanced ventilation. Chapter describing regulation of technology follows and in conclusion indicative price for the whole suggested technology is calculated.
Performance of heat

The topic of the diploma thesis is the operational efficiency of heat sources . The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part a theoretical solution of the heat sources efficiency can be found. In the second part there is a calculation solution of the project. The project solves the heating of a football stadium. Two variants of the heating source and warm water preparation are suggested and the variants are consequently compared and evaluated. The last part is experimental - the topic of the experiment is the efficiency of heat sources.
Heat recovery

The aim of this diploma thesis is to theoretically, practically and experimentally explore different ways of waste heat utilization in the building industry. The work is divided into three basic passages. In the first part I analyze the theoretical nature of the various physical processes in recovery and is there a practical use. More emphasis is placed on heat recovery from wastewater, as I am using this way of recuperation in other parts of this diploma thesis. In the second point, I apply the use of heat from waste water when designing a technical solu-tion for the reconstruction of the heating system of the clinic. The design is solved in two variants. The first suggested location lokali- them, recuperative, shower exchanger operation rehabilitation, bath and massage. In the second variant, central recovery is envisaged using a heat exchanger in the accumulator well and water-water heat pump. Based on the technical and economic evaluation, the first option was selected. The second variant is ineffective and remains only in the case study. In the last section, I experimentally investigate the thermal efficiency and the relative savings of the heat exchanger, which is designed in the first variant of the second part. Measurement, processing of results and evaluation I made for laboratory conditions and for real conditions with the showering person. Finally, I appreciate the eco-nomic benefits of this facility.
Heating of the kindergarten

This bachelor's thesis theme is about airflow ways of gas boilers described in the theoretical first part. The second part contains heating process of a kindergarten. Object is two-storeyed and newly reconstructed. Capacity of this object can contain 100 children placed into four classes. Heat source for this object is set of two gas condensing boilers. In this object are used panel radiators covered by wooden frames. In the object is partly used flow-through ventilation operated by ventilating units.
Hot water quality for heat

The diploma thesis focuses on assesment of water quality in heating systems. The experiment includes description of used methods and meters as well as analysis of collected samples. The theoretical part describes selected water properties, quality meters and sources of heat according to the material of their heat exchanger. This thesis processes design of heating system and hot water preparation for complex of administration buildings. The project includes calculations of heat losses, system proposal and two versions of possible heat source. The first version offers solution with condensing boiler with heat exchanger from stainless steel, while the second version uses condensing boiler with heat exchanger from aluminium and silicon. Both versions have their own solution of safety equipment and water treatment.
Heating of Trade Center

Thesis aim was to propose a heating of trade center. Proposing were only a side rooms of the building away from the main shopping area. The theoretical part deals heating surface. In the computation section are perform calculations, designs and sizing of the heating system and all other necessary equipment. The project part contains the technical report and drawings. The building of the trade center is mostly single storey only with a few extensions of the second floor. Near the object stands two outbuilding for technical equipment and water tank.
Heating of a residential building

The objective of this bachelor thesis is to design heating and hot water production in an apartment block. The theoretical part is based on the topic of the preparation of hot water. The calculation part includes the calculation of heat losses, the suggestion of heat transfer surfaces, the dimensioning of pipes and the suggestion of the heat source for heating and warm water. Gas condensing boilers are applied as a heat source. They are located in the technical room. The preparation of hot water and the heat consumption measurements in flats are solved by district heating substations.

The hot water is also ensured condesing boiler and solar collectors. The third part consist of a technical report and drawings heating of the specified object.
