Title: The most common types of injuries in judo Objectives: The aim of this study was to determine the most common injuries that occur during training and judo competitions. Identify treatment options, prevention and identify most common causes of injury. Methods: The chosen method was theoretical and empirical, ie collecting data and information from other publications and conduct its own research. Selecting what is relevant for judo injuries and comparsion whith author's experience and research. Results: It was found that the most common type of injury in judo is bleeding, which is among the least serious. The most common type of injury that is concluded as very serious, ie interrupted carrer for at least 6 months, is rupture the front cruciate ligaments in the knee. Profile of judo competitors qualified for the Olympic Games 2012

Title: Profile of judo competitors qualified for the Olympic Games 2012 Objectives: The aim of this work was to create a profile of Czech judo athletes who were qualified for the Olympic Games in London 2012 - to document their four-year Olympic qualification and Compaq each other. Methods: As method for collection of data was used a guided interview and analysis of training plans and records of four years long Olympic qualification. Then, by comparison, I compared the success and growth of condition in each year for each athlete in Olympic qualifying in 2009 and 2012. Results: I found that in the tracked years best results showed Lukas Krpálek, who also scored best in the world ranking list and reached best place at the Olympic games in London. While watching the rise of condition I found that the increase throughout the qualification had only Lukas Krpálek. Keywords: Judo, Olympic games, olympic qualification, annual training plan.

Name: Characteristics and Development of Combat Sport Sambo Objective of the work: Characterize sambo and its development in the world and the Czech Republic, to point out the differences between sambo and judo. Acquaint the public with this sport, so they gain knowledge of the rules, literature, history, personalities and organizations. Methods: The method of collecting information was studying literature, interviews and personal communication trainers and representatives of the Czech sambo federation, also Slovakian and Russian sambo representatives. Results: In the course of writing this thesis, we have learned more about the situation of sambo in our country and in the world of literature, sambo organizations and the differences between different types of sambo and judo. Bachelor thesis title: Somatotype comparision of muaythai and judo athletes Objective: The main objective of this work is to compare the athletes' somatotype who engage in Thai boxing and judo. Methods: The author used for developing of the theoretical part of this thesis a method of analysis and synthesis of professional literature sources. In the practical part was used primarily the method of comparison. To determine the somatotype was used method by Heath and Carter. Bachelor thesis title: Regeneration in judo Goal: Comparison of various possibilities of regeneration methods and tools of the professional club USK Praha and non-professional club Judo Přibram. Gathering and comparison of the knowledge in the sphere of regeneration methods, among the competitors in chosen groups. Method: The questionnaire survey, qualitative research. Results: Of From the gathered results we recognize, that of ten regeneration methods the professional club USK Praha is performing nine. The non-professional club Judo Přibram is using six regeneration tools. The most used methods are stretching, sleep and sauna. Influence of body composition on explosive power of elite judokas

Title: Influence of body composition on explosive power of elite judokas Objectives: The main aim of the thesis is to discover whether the body composition effects the explosive power of elite judokas. The work also depicts the development of the explosive power during training and describes how to measure and compare the explosive power in upper limbs of a selected group of professional judo fighters within a general and specific exercise. Another aim of the thesis is to determine which weight categories are characterized by the biggest explosive power in upper limbs and whether this power mounts with the increasing weight category. Methods: The thesis has an empirical and theoreticalcharacter. Methods of data collecting, analysis of technical literature in the field of general sports preparation and judo training were used for the research. For the evaluation, the basic statistic methods and Spearman correlative coefficient were applied. Results: The results of the thesis point out the fact that the explosive power doesn't depend on the amount of active substance in the body of a contestant. The best results in the amount of explosive power from the testing exercises were achieved by the individuals within the weight category up to 90 kg, 81 kg and 100 kg. Title: The most commonly used techniques in judo competitions in the world. Objectives: The main aim of this work is to find out which the most commonly used techniques in judo competitions in the word. Define a list of the most commomnly used techniques before the rules change and after the rules change. Furthermore to find out the most commonly used techniques by countries in these competitions. Methods: The author used various methods of data collection and the analysis of technical bibliografy which was focused on general sports preparations, obseravation method, analysis of documents captured in the written or videos form. The materials and the bibliografy were analyzed and structured according to applicability to the specific subjects. Results: The results of this paper emphasize the most commonly used techniques in judo competitions in the word before the change rules of judo is technique seoi nage and after the change rules is uchi mata. Among the most technical of the country in these competitions include Japan, Korea and Russia. Physical profile of judo athletes and its changes due to body weight reduction

Title: Physical profile of judo athletes and its changes due to body weight reduction Aim of work: The aim of this study was to determine the effect of intensive pre-competitive body weight reduction on body composition, anthropometric parameters, postural stability, reaction time, maximal isometric muscle strength and biochemical parameters in the blood of elite judo athletes. Methods: The work compares the results of laboratory testing at the beginning and at the end of body weight reduction. Nine male judo athletes (age 22.3 ± 2.4 years) from the Czech national team participated in the research. For laboratory testing we used bioelectrical impedance analyser InBody 720, anthropometric equipment, pressure plate FootScan, dynamometer and apparatus for measuring reaction times of Biomedical laboratory UK FTVS and equipment for the collection of capillary and venous blood. We created a survey to gather more information about pre-competitive weight loss, attended by 53 competitors (37 men and 16 women, mean age 23.7 ± 3.2 years) who practise judo, wrestling Greco-Roman and freestyle, boxing, kickboxing, thaibox, taekwondo or karate.
