Beginnings of Hierarchical Order in the Early Church
PŘIBYL, Stanislav
The issue of ecclesiastical ministries, services and offices has always attracted attention of theological scholars and church ministers. The early Christian Church shows a great variability of its organizational models. The suitable starting point for their explanation is the charismatic phenomena in the earliest Church. In the Epistle to the Ephesians, prophets stand alongside the apostles as those who form the fundaments of Church teaching. According to Luke's Acts, the imposition of hands accompanies the mediation of the Spirit during the process of being entrusted with various services in the Church. There are numerous specifications of charismata in St Paul's letters; at the same time, some of these gifts can transform into permanent offices, like those of leadership or teaching. Early Christians especially revered martyrdom, particularly that of their pastors. Itinerant prophets also enjoyed high esteem. Their pronouncements in ecstatic moments were considered inspired by the Holy Spirit. Nevertheless, itinerant missionaries potentially also presented a grave danger of heresies that could spread among the faithful. However, the constitutive role in the Church belonged undoubtedly to the apostles, the only ministry established by the Lord himself. According to Luke's writings, the concept of apostles is reduced only to the Twelve. Nevertheless, Paul in his letters appeals to his personal apostolate. Besides that, a clearer concept of apostolate in the early Church there can be found also, namely that of the missionaries. In the Jewish Christian milieu, the early Church followed in the exercise of the presbyter's ministry, known from the synagogue life. In the Pastoral Epistles, presbyters operate together with deacons and bishops as leaders of the various Churches. In the epistles of Ignatius of Antiochia, dated to the beginning of the second Christian century, the three grades of Church hierarchy, i.e. the deacons, the presbyters and the sole bishop, are mentioned as already existing. This type of monarchic episcopacy soon became the prevalent leadership model of Church organization, known throughout its history.
Dělba práce a polyethismus v koloniích sociálních rypošů
ENGLOVÁ, Terezie
Eusocial species of African mole-rats live in groups cooperating on multiple tasks and employing division of labour. In captivity, individuals of the same group were found to differ in cooperative contribution as well as in preference for a particular task which is usually interpretted either as temporal polyethism or existence of behavioural castes. Studies describing these phenomenons based on observations of captive colonies suffer from methodological problems and their results are often contradictory, whereas studies on free-ranging mole-rats are few and limited by small sample sizes. In my thesis I review available literature on polyethism, division of labour and related penomenons in African mole-rats. Its general aim is to provide theoretical background for future laboratory experiments.

Among others the tendency of this proposal is to make a provision for different informational needs of certain imployees in certain working positions. Another aim is also to propose the concept of informational system with the emphasis on the maximum efficiency and user’s comfort.
Clustering of Biological Sequences
Kubiš, Radim ; Burgetová, Ivana (referee) ; Martínek, Tomáš (advisor)
One of the main reasons for protein clustering is prediction of structure, function and evolution. Many of current tools have disadvantage of high computational complexity due to all-to-all sequence alignment. If any tool works faster, it does not reach accuracy as other tools. Further disadvantage is processing on higher rate of similarity but homologous proteins can be similar with less identity. The process of clustering often ends when reach the condition which does not reflect sufficient quality of clusters. Master's thesis describes the design and implementation of new tool for clustering of protein sequences. New tool should not be computationally demanding but it should preserve required accuracy and produce better clusters. The thesis also describes testing of designed tool, evaluation of results and possibilities of its further development.
Data acquisition from a great number of computers using hierarchical summarization
Jelínek, Mojmír ; Novotný, Vít (referee) ; Komosný, Dan (advisor)
This paper deals with IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) transmission of feedback and is showing options and ways of construction, problems and optimalization of signalization protocol. In the beginning are described IPTV and technology terms that this technology uses. Here can be found information about classical TV (Television) transmitting and comparing with IPTV technology, the advantages and disadvantaged of IPTV and answers why this solution has future. Next parts are about history of IPTV and real use over ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) in present. Here are explained all the necessary units like Head-End, feedback target, root feedback target, ADSL, DSLAM (Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer) and methods of data stream transmission. Also here are described the techniques of video stream compression (MPEG-2 and MPEG-4) and all options of data transmission as broadcast, unicast and multicast. Important part is about transmission speed and needs. The realization also contains applications, written in the C++ language, for transmitting and receiving packets by UDP (User Datagram Protocol) protocol. The task of these applications is to load the main server, where the measurement of packet loss and CPU (Central Processing Unit) load takes place. The result is a table of measured values for specified packet sizes and for specified time intervals between them. The meaning of this measuring is to find the maximal number of computer nodes, which the feedback target is able to proceed. Last part is about realization of 2 applications in JAVA language, which get the information about end-nodes. Both algorithms are using 2 threads to increase speed of getting the information. The client has few random generators within one thread, which will be later replaced by special algorithms for getting real values.
