Actual trends in manufacturing of permanent patterns
Procházka, Michal ; Bouška, Ondřej (referee) ; Horáček, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the more detailed description of various methods employed for the manufacturing of permanent patterns which are used for making of nonpermanent moulds. According to the type of materials the models are divided into the wooden, the metallic, the plastic and the models made from the resin. The work covers the description of handmade manufacturing which is performed either manually (generally in case of wooden models) or by conventional methods of machining. It also includes the CNC machining mostly used for the manufacture of larger models. Further, certain methods Rapid prototyping are described here but these methods are restricted in sizes of future model, as they are used for the models of smaller measurements. Finally, the newer methods including the methods of Additive manufacturing are also described in the work.
Design of Technology and Process of Manufacturing of a Component with The Help of Modern Technologies.
Holík, David ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Slaný, Martin (advisor)
The Bachelor´s thesis is a dissertation fousing on the desing and manufacturing of single machanical parts with the help of modern technologies. In particular, the study involves brake callipers and different variants of manufacturing methods of these parts are presended. Aim of this work is to make a desing of these components and, if there is the possibility their production.
Application of Fused Deposition Modelling Method to Production of Planetary Mechanism Model
Kudláčová, Barbora ; Kolář, Ladislav (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This thesis aims to deal with designing and construction of the planetary mechanisms mod-el with using the technology of Rapid Prototyping. Virtual model was designed by para-metric program SolidWorks 2013 and produced by 3D printer called Dimension uPrint, which uses Fused Deposition Modeling for the production. The thesis also includes the description of the planetary mechanism especially from theoretical, practical and also construction knowledge. The thesis contains the description of Fused Deposition Modeling too. The model of planetary mechanism is using as an educational tool especially for students of BUT Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in the subject Kinematics.
Comparison of tensile properties of polymeric samples produced by extrusion based 3D printing
Krajcar, Ivo ; Vespalec, Arnošt (referee) ; Škaroupka, David (advisor)
The subject of this work is a summary of the contemporary knowledge about 3D printing and mechanical properties of a prototype manufactured this way. Main goal is to compare the frequently used FDM method with the innovative APF method of 3D printing from the Arburg company. ASA and CPE materials were chosen for researching this method. On these materials, tensile strength was measured. Aditionally, for comparison between the two methods, referential samples manufactured by injection moulding were made. A percentual difference in strength of each sample was compared against these. 60 samples in total were made for this comparison. After evaluation of the results, it was found that in the tensile strength the samples made by the APF method are approximately 30 % less strong than the referential sample. The samples made by the FDM method are approximately of the same strength as the referential sample.
Technologies of the electrical apparatuses protyping
Svoboda, Filip ; Kloc, Petr (referee) ; Šimek, David (advisor)
The work focuses on the production of prototypes of electrical devices. The theoretical part contains a structured overview of the historical development of prototype production technologies and description of individual prototyping technologies. The main part of the work is the design of a prototype extinguishing chamber, printing of the chamber and verification of the ability to extinguish the electric arc.
Usage of Modern Technologies for the Design of the Production of Children's Puzzle
Sedláková, Eva ; Kouřil, Karel (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design and production of children's puzzle using modern methods and technologies. It characterizes the puzzle as a toy and its use, it as well describes the additive Rapid Prototyping technology, commercially available additive materials and their applications. The practical part describes the design of the individual parts of the puzzle in the SolidEdge parameter model and their production on a repro Prusa i3 printer. The last part of the bachelor thesis concerns with a technical- economic evaluation.
Design of 3D printers with a pair of printheads
Halamíček, Lukáš ; Kočiš, Petr (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
The master thesis deals with design of multi material FDM 3D printer. In the first part, current market situation and possible principles of multi material printing are described. Possible variants of individual construction nodes are described in the next part and then the selected variant is processed into a design solution. The benefit of this thesis is a proposal of solution for the automatic printing head exchange, which is practically not concerned by printer manufacturers.
Production Concept of Smart Stand Using Modern Methods and Technologies
Buchta, Juraj ; Kouřil, Karel (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The aim of bachelor´s thesis is design, construction and production of smart stand for laptop Macbook Pro with using advanced additive Rapid Prototyping technology. The design is created with the parametric CAD program SolidWorks. Model of stand is realized on a 3D printer Fortus, company operating with additive method Fused Deposition Modeling. The work is completed with economic evaluation of the total costs of production and prices to compare of the stands on the market.
Manufacturing of consumer accessories using rapid prototyping technology
Koubek, Michal ; Dvořáček, Jan (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
My bachelor thesis is focused ou the production of applied supplements not commonly available. The applied supplements were modelled by Autodesk Inventor graphic program, transferred to, outcoming format of data and them produced by Rapid Prototyping technology by using fused deposition modelling aditive method. The part of my thesis i salso production of silicon form of chosen part by means of vakuum moulding system. My thesis is finished by technical and economical evaluation comparing the price, for which these supplements can be obtained in the market or produced by means of 3D printed uPrint by using fused deposition modelling method, which is available at Brno Universit of Technology – Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
Production of functional prototype of bicycle seat clamp with FDM 3D printing
Zemánek, Patrik ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis describes production of prototype by FDM printing. The aim of this thesis was to acquire knowledge about the topic and undergo the production process of the prototype. Finally the component was tested and evaluated from an economic point of view.
