Evaluation of the Financial Situation in the Company and Proposals to Its Improvement

Presented master’s degree thesis provides an insight into financial situation of a selected wine production company in a specific period of time (2009 – 2013). The data has been based on own experience, technical literature, and private resources as well. The results include identification of several general theoretical foundations, special methods for the company's financial condition assessment, extensive information pool concerning the company, and precise elaboration of financial analysis. As far as thesis conclusions are concerned, several measures have been designed to provide an effective basis for both successful and sustainable company's management in the future.

This diploma thesis deals with evaluation of financial situation of the company Antreg, a. s. between the years 2007 and 2012 and formulates suggestions for its improvement. First part of the work explains basic theoretical principles of financial and strategic analysis that will be used to elaborate the practical part. Second part of the work involves analysis of current conditions of selected company. This analysis is the basis for drafting of the third part which contains proposals and recommendations to improve current financial and business situation of the company.

This master’s thesis evaluates the financial situation of the company MITAS a. s. between the years 2007–2012 and the formulation of proposals for its improvement. At first are summarizes the theoretical knowledge of strategic and financial analysis that will be used to develop in the practical part. In the next part are captured the basic information about the company and analyzes the current status of the selected company. Analysis of the company is then used in the last part for the creation of proposals and measures to improve the current financial situation.

Effects of the environmental measures of ZSNP, a.s. on internal and external environment

The thesis is focused on the effects of the environmental measures of ZSNP,a.s. on internal and external environment. These effects are evaluated in the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility with the special emphasis on environment and sustainability. In Slovakia, there are many environmental problems caused by irresponsible behaviour of the companies, and therefore, legal factors are also taken into consideration from both national and European perspective. The study is mainly based on qualitative research, which found out that environmental measures affected internal and external environment positively and that the public considers the company to be responsible towards society. Numerous participants, such as employees, specialists, inhabitants, city mayor and other stakeholders took part in the research by expressing their opinion and own perception of the issue. The thesis proves that the company behaves in socially responsible way because of its moral believes and confidence. Another finding was that the steps, which were undertaken by ZSNP,a.s. could be considered copybook examples for other companies within CSR concept.

This bachelors thesis is about the risk identification and risk management in a business company. The first part is paying attention to a literature review in which main concepts such as risk identification, risk analysis, and risk management are stated. In the second part, these theoretical concepts are applied on the Milis Montage LLC. Risk identification based on a combination of given assets and an active threat on these assets is a first step. Secondly, risk analysis is based on the risk matrix, in which risks are evaluated accordingly to the probability of their occurrence and the intensity of their negative impact. Finally, the most important risks are selected and recommendations are suggested for their control.

Application of organization design models upon a company employing handicapped people

This bachelor thesis objective is to apply three models of organization design upon a company employing handicapped people and to draw conclusion from them. The thesis concentrates specifically on Six-Box Model, McKinsey 7S Model and Mintzberg's Model. In the first part of this thesis, models are looked upon from theoretical point of view. It is described how they function and how they are supposed to be applied. In the next section, models of organization design are applied upon a company, in which 50% of employees are made up of handicapped people. Applied models are then compared to each other and a conclusion that organizational changes in the company need to be incorporated is drawn.
