Construction Order Preparation
Jelenová, Kateřina ; Krčil, František (referee) ; Nováková, Jana (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis aims to develop preparation documentation for the bulder’s purchase order from the builder’s perspective. The bachelor’s thesis is divided into two separate sections. In tje theoretical section of the thesis, the documentation resolves the project by highlighting the essential terms, processes and conditions. In the second section of the thesis, the project delivery conditions have been defined and implemented into a specific builder’s purchase order. The outcome of the thesis is to develop documentation as a base for preparing the builder’s purchase order.
Comparison of life-cycle emission produced by cars
Plott, Patrik ; Ušiak, Michal (referee) ; Fridrichová, Kateřina (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis of research nature deals with comparison of emissions of individual types of passenger car´s powertrains in terms of their entire life cycle. The goal was to describe current emission regulations of passenger vehicles, various types of power units they use, and emissions that are created in manufacturing, using and disposal of these vehicles. The comparison includes not only different types of internal combustion engine vehicles, but also electric vehicles. In conclusion were these power units evaluated based on emission considering current situation.
Study of the ecological impact of production, operation and disposal of various types of cars
Los, Marek ; Máca, Josef (referee) ; Jaššo, Kamil (advisor)
The life cycle of a car includes three basic phases: production, operation and end-of-life. All these phases can potentially produce emissions that have a direct impact on the environment. However, different types of cars may produce different amounts of emissions during the life cycle phases, depending not only on the type of propulsion but also on local factors such as the emission factor of the energy mix. The results of the research showed that the potential environmental benefit of lower GHG emissions of battery electric vehicles depends primarily on the emission factor of the energy mix. In countries such as Poland, where the majority of electricity produced is generated by burning coal and lignite, the life cycle environmental performance of battery cars will be higher than that of combustion cars. Conversely, in countries with a favourable energy mix, such as Sweden, the potential to reduce transport emissions by replacing the existing car fleet with electric cars is significant. Furthermore, four reference vehicles are proposed for which life cycle GHG emissions are calculated using the proposed calculation method using local emission factors.
Geometric morphometrics of diatom frustules.
Hubáčková, Kateřina ; Kulichová, Jana (advisor) ; Pichrtová, Martina (referee)
This bachelor thesis includes a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, I focused problematic parts of research of diatoms biology. I will discuss morphology of specific silica scale and its morphogenesis; life cycle, characteristic by the size diminution in vegetative phasis, and conception of taxonomy of these organisms which is rather complicated because of unclear species concept. Another part presents tools of geometric morphometrics which is rapidly developing method for investigation and quantification of biological shape. In the practical part, I present the results from own research. This experiment is preliminary study for diploma thesis and its purpose is to appropriate tools of geometric morphometrics and to present advantages of its methods. I will investigate morphological disparity of three strains of pennate diatoms cultivated in standard conditions studied by landmark methos. The aim of this study is to discover if small cells which have gone trough the long phasis of vegetative multiplication and are close to the sexual reproduction have diferent degree of morphological variability than the bigger ones just undergone by sexual process.
New Residential Localities in Prague and the Structure of Their Inhabitants
Macešková, Dana ; Ouředníček, Martin (advisor) ; Cuřínová, Petra (referee)
This thesis deals with the analysis of housing construction in Prague in the years 2000-2009, and evaluation of socio-demographic structure of the population in the selected new residential areas. First is with the use of the database of the completed dwellings in the respective period described the deployment of new housing stock according to the character of the building in various concentric zones of the city, and on this basis the most important areas of new residential construction are identified. In the main empirical part is through the analysis of migration data at five selected case sites studied the relationship between socio- demographic structure of population and the selected/preferred types of housing. The analysis of statistical data is further supplemented by the data collected through field investigation.
Trypanosomes from the T. theileri group in ungulates in the Czech Republic
Brotánková, Anna ; Brzoňová, Jana (advisor) ; Juránková, Jana (referee)
The Trypanosoma theileri group are blood parasites of ungulates. Confirmed vectors of these protists are horseflies or sheep keds for T. melophagium, but these trypanosomes were also detected in deer keds, mosquitoes and phlebotomus. We targeted on the investigation of possibility mosquitoes acting as vectors and additionally we targeted on the prevalence of T. theileri in mosquitoes at selected locations in the Czech Republic due to previous positive detection there. The measured prevalence has reached 6,4 % in mosquitoes, 4 % in deer keds and 16,7 % in sheep keds. The aim of experimental infections was to discover a potential of mosquitoes and phlebotomus acting as vectors of the T. theileri. Phlebotomus perniciosus and three species of mosquitoes Culex pipiens molestus, Culex pipiens quinquefasciatus and Aedes vexans were used for those experiments. Furthermore, isolates of T. theileri and T. melophagium from different sources were used. The divergence among these isolates and among used species of insect was found. The best results were achieved with Ae. aegypti and isolates from mosquitoes, where prevalence had reached 90,8 %. The infected mosquitoes were used for prediuresis research which had shown infection forms of the trypanosomes in the urine liquid. The phylogenetic analyse of T....
Construction Order Management in the Construction Company
Šrámková, Michaela ; Hrdlička, Michal (referee) ; Nováková, Jana (advisor)
The thesis describes the project management of a construction contract in a construction company from the supplier's point of view. The work includes a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes important definitions and knowledge, which are then used to create a practical part. It deals with the preparation and management of a specific construction contract called "Reconstruction of the sports hall Otrokovice" with the help of methods and procedures that the issue offers.
Development of masonry systeme for simple construction of internal masonry structures
Lidmilová, Klára ; Dobiáš,, Jiří (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the development of a new masonry system, for the production of which recycled brick could be used as a secondary raw material. In the field of literary research, the work deals with the methods of construction of vertical structures, the possibilities of lightening concrete, the life cycle of building materials and the use of secondary raw materials in construction. In the practical part, a masonry system was designed based on market research in the field of internal non-load-bearing masonry structures and requirements for these structures. In order to achieve these properties, concrete was chosen as the material for its production, where recycled brick was used as an alternative aggregate. As it is supposed to be a system for precise masonry, the material was compacted by vibrocompression. At the beginning, recipes were designed to verify the basic properties of concrete: density of hardened concrete, compressive strength and tensile bending strength, then other properties such as thermal conductivity and sound absorption coefficient were tested on improved recipes. Lightening and dimensional modules have been modified to achieve optimal properties. This was followed by a proposal for the method of masonry and surface treatment of a wall. Finally, the economic and environmental aspects of the masonry system were evaluated.
