Data on the legislation in the Czech Republic – why should they be collected and what to do with them
Novák, František
This article deals with the problem of collection data on legislature and legislative systém namely the Czech legislative systém and using them for analytical scientific purposes. Collecting of such data presupposes of course creating of special databases and software.

The level of knowledge on the issue of nutrition of students in the 2nd grude of elementary school in relation to their daily diet
ŠPALOVÁ, Klára
The aim of this thesis was the processing of a survey focusing on the level of knowledge about the diet issues among secondary school pupils in relation to their everyday nourishment. The theoretical part deals with the definition of the term "diet", its importance and social aspect, and the recommended proportion of nutrients. It defines and describes the term "pubescence" with respect to both biological and psychological changes. It also mentions the eating habits in families and eating disorders. It also describes parts of the Framework Educational System and some projects supporting health. A quantitative survey was employed in this thesis, and the data was collected from questionnaires, which included a knowledge quiz about diet and right nourishment. The surveyed group consists of ninth grade pupils of secondary schools, which means probands aged from 14 to 16 years. The research concentrates on the regions of České Budějovice and Tábor.
Fire test on building before demolition
Chlouba, J. ; Wald, F. ; Zíma, Pavel ; Štujberová, M.
The paper describes a fire experiment carried out in June of 2006 on an industrial building in the area of Mittal Steel Company in Ostrava. The aim of the fire test was to broaden the knowledge of behaviour of partly fire-protected steel frame in fire.
Revitalization of small streams and small water reservoirs
OKROUHLÝ, Roman
Revitalization of watercourses and small water reservoirs are complex process that aims to restore the natural character of waterways and properties. Preparation and implementation of revitalization brings large number of problems. Problems need to be addressed by linking tools. These tools include legislation relevant laws, land use planning, flood politics, nature conservation, water management, fish farming, financial support for projects facilitate access to land affected by watercourses and improve public awareness. If these tools in a concerted manner, there would be no controversy, will result in improved water regime in the landscape and environmental improvement, which is the public interest.
The Physics Principles of Classical Circular Accelerators for Radiological Technologicts
VESELÁ, Barbora
As the selected theory of transfer of knowledge from the scientific radiological physics (in the sphere of physical bases of circular accelerators) to students of radiological branches the theory of curricular process was used. This theory was formulated in the world by M. Pasche, T. G. Gardner, M. Certon, M. Gayl, in the Czech and Slovak Republics by J. Průcha, J. Brockmeyerová, P.Tarábek, P. Záškodný. On the base of the curriculum process theory, in the sphere of radiological physics curriculum process can be defined as a sequence of transformations T1-T5 variant forms of curriculum: "conceptual curriculum" as a communicable scientific system of radiological physics (first variant form of curriculum as transformation T1 output from a scientific system to a communicable scientific system) "intended curriculum" as an educational system of radiological physics (second variant form of curriculum as transformation T2 output from a communicable scientific system to an educational system) "project curriculum" as an instructional project of radiological physics (third variant form of curriculum as transformation T3 output from an educational system to a teaching project) "implemented curriculum-1" as the preparedness of educator to education in radiological physics (fourth variant form of curriculum as the first transformation T4 output from an educational project to implementation of teaching) "implemented curriculum-2" as the results of education in radiological physics (fifth variant form of curriculum as the second transformation T4 output from an educational project to implementation of teaching) "attained curriculum" as applicable results of education in radiological physics (sixth variant form of curriculum transformation T5 output from implementation of teaching to application of the results of teaching). In this thesis, in the sphere of physical bases of circular accelerators the transformation between the intended curriculum, project curriculum, implemented curriculum-1 and implemented curriculum-2 were used. These transformations were carried out by binds between educating text, experimental teaching, preparation for experimental teaching and placing of educational test to students of radiological branches to find out the results of experimental teaching in the sphere of physical bases of circular accelerators. In order to prove the hypotheses of the bachelor thesis, methods of mathematical statistics apart from methods of descriptive statistics were used: Nonparametric tests and two sample t-test. Nonparametric test was used to test the normality of knowledge acquired by experimental teaching. Two-sample t-test was used to compare the knowledge from the sphere of physical bases of circular accelerators in students of full-time and part-time study programme. The bachelor thesis was based on the verification of two hypotheses: a) an adequate educational text in the sphere of physical bases of circular accelerators can be created by application of curriculum process b) students´ knowledge in the sphere of physical bases of circular accelerators acquired on the base of worked out educational text will have normal distribution. Both of these hypotheses were confirmed by statistical processing of the results which were obtained by experimental teaching and by placing of educational test to students. Partial hypothesis was also confirmed that knowledge between full-time students and part-time students will not be statistically different on the level of statistical significance 0.05. Based on the verified hypotheses and the survey of further results, the targets of the thesis can be considered fulfilled.
Anthology of Art Nouveau and Period Polemics
ŠANDOVÁ, Zuzana
This thesis focuses on the Almanach secese and its conteporary conditions. It is divided into three parts: the historical definition, the cultural definition and the Almanach secese itself. In the first part I focus on the political situation of the 1890's, whitch is the time of the formation of the Almanach. In the second part I deal with the formation of the modern literature rising up with the new art generation comming. The literary criticism is also a part of the chapter. The last part discusses the Almanach secese, its intention and contributors.
Specifics of Consumer Behavior on Cultural Heritage Market
Johnová, Radka ; Koudelka, Jan (advisor) ; Zamykalová, Miroslava (referee) ; Beck, Jiří (referee)
Doctoral thesis Specifics of Consumer Behavior on Cultural Heritage Market is a market research based analysis of visitors of museums and galleries. The main goal of the work is to describe and segment the audiences, find out stimuli influencing visitor behavior, visitor motivation and lifestyle in order to suggest new marketing strategies attracting either new visitors or to turn occasional visitors into clients. The first part uses the theoretical microeconomic approach for analyzing the demand for cultural heritage; the price policy and price strategies of museums and galleries, and results in socially justified price of merit goods. The second part compares the Czech "consumer" of cultural heritage with an average consumer behavior in the same markets within the European Union and the U.S.A. The main part of the thesis consists of the research project based on quantitative descriptive research among museum and gallery visitors. The sample size is 543 respondents. Respondents were interviewed from September 2008 to March 2009 (personal intercept interview) in 25 organizations (from large and important institutions to small and regional organizations). The research project uses the nonprobability (convenience) sample of those who came to a museum, gallery or exhibition. The thesis results in the recommendation of marketing strategies for museums and galleries.
