Personal development in OVB Allfinanz, a.s.

This thesis focuses on personal development. Describes the elements of personal development in terms of psychological, social and moral. It includes communication, assertivity and comprehensively defines the issue of the role of coaching in personal development. In the practical part of this thesis are described in details issues of personal development in the company OVB Allfinanz, a.s. The analysis is conducted by questionnaire survey. It contains results and a proposal for improving the state of personal development within the company.
In the beginning, there was a relationship - the Western culture´s Christian paradigm forming the image of man within the process of criminal justice

The present thesis paper deals - on theoretical level - with the importance and the gradual evolution of dialogicality of man within the context of criminal justice. In Western European cultural environment the image of man as dialogical being has been inspired by the Judeo-Christian tradition, approaching "the man in relationship" as an unlimited and transcendental form of being. In practical terms, a relationship has been perceived as the fundamental precondition in the process of restoration of a man and as an opportunity to re-approach the original absolute form of humanity, which is in harmony with God´s intention. The culturally accepted dialogical image of man has been reflected in shaping the specific form of systems and institutions created by man, including also the system of criminal law and justice, the main objective of which is enforcing justice. In the spirit of that cultural tradition, emphasis is currently laid on protection of and respect for dignity and individual rights and freedoms of man, and, thus, personal participation of the criminal conflict parties in the process of justice is required. Hence, in the persons of the offender and the victim, justice is rather becoming "the justice of dialogue and negotiation" within restorative justice, and it is so within the limits of law so as the participants´ individual needs and interests can be taken care of and obligations resulting from the conflict can be secured, to the maximum possible extent.
Negotiations tactics in purchase of services in Škoda Auto a.s. and optimalization of purchase process

The theoretical part of this thesis deals with the negotiations tactics, methods and strategies, the relationship with the suppliers and is the base for the practical part. The aim of my thesis is testing of selected negotiation tactics and methods on selected tenders in purchasing department in Škoda Auto a.s. The result is discovering the optimal strategy for specific price negotiations and introduction of their pros and cons. The second aim of my thesis is optimization of purchasing process and recommendation of suggestions for improvement.
New trends of diplomacy - good governance

This thesis deals with the presumption that multilateral diplomacy is a possible means to promote good governance. The first part described the origin, definition and criticism of the concept of good governance. Another part deals with transformations of diplomacy and international relations after the Cold War. Contemporary diplomacy must respond to globalization, interdependence, technological development, changing international environment and increase the number of actors in international relations. The last part is devoted to multilateral diplomacy, international organizations and especially their connection with good governance. In my thesis I came to the conclusion that multilateral diplomacy can be a useful tool for promoting the objectives of good governance and management of the state. The best space for the use of multilateral diplomacy as a means of promoting good governance is intergovernmental organization.
Multilateral trade liberalisation at the beginning of the new millenium (international organizations` view)

Multilateral trade negotiations are widely influenced by various forms of cooperation among countries and by international organizations. There is a wide spectrum of differences in cooperation between the Uruguay and the Doha round of multilateral trade negotiations. Multilateral forums of developed countries are not able to provide sufficient impetus for negotiations, views of developing countries must be considered. There are differences in formation of coalition of countries, which are more wide-spread and more influential, though mainly by setting the negotiations agenda. There has been even a shift in policies of multilateral organizations; their direct and indirect influence is more noticeable. Though financial crisis led to diversion from multilateral trade issues, changed some positions, since 2009 there are signals, that there might be a shift in negotiations leading to successful conclusion of the Doha negotiations.
Family Mediation

The work deals the term mediation, history of family mediation, personality of the mediator and his tasks in the family mediation. In addition it also defines the aims of family mediation, meaning of the word conflict and its development and what ways of solving them exist. The process of mediation is described there according to Matoušek and Holá because their approach corresponds with practice. Negotiation is very important aspect of family mediation. There are five basic steps to be kept which are analysed on the theoretical part. In the final part I deal with the communication which is substantial for family mediation. In the practical part I show the actual use of family mediation.
Business and Cultural Habits of the Philippines

The main aim of this thesis is an analysis of cultural specifics and aspects of business negotiations in the Philippines. The introductory part of the thesis covers up information that is crucial for understanding of the historical, economic, demographic and cultural development of the country. Following chapter focuses on distinctive features of local culture and includes recommendations for travellers coming to the Philippines. The consequent part of the thesis deals with characteristics of business negotiation and etiquette. This part is mainly a result of the research among the Czech sales representatives who do business in this country. The final chapter summarizes the history and development of Czech-Philippine business and diplomatic relations.
Přístupy k jednání a vyjednávání a jejich aplikace v plánu rozvoje (na konkrétním příkladě)

Práce se zaměřuje na manažerské komunikační dovednosti a přístupy k vyjednávání. Teoretická část popisuje osobnost manažera, jeho schopnosti a dovednosti, dále obsahuje kapitolu o vyjednávání - informace o vyjednavači,strategiích taktikách a fázích procesu vyjednávání. Praktickou částí je dotazníkové šetření komunikačních dovedností a přístupu k vyjednávní - je zkoumána skupina manažerů, jejich odpovědi jsou analyzovány a následně jim je navržen plán rozvoje.
Vliv IT a SW prostředků na firemní komunikaci a vyjednávání

V práci jsou shrnuty poznatky o komunikaci mezi lidmi a to v osobní i pracovní sféře. Je však více zaměřena na firemní komunikaci, její proces, aspekty, druhy atd. Nejdůležitějším prvkem teoretické části je stručný výčet nástrojů informační a komunikační technologie a softwarových nástrojů. Obsahuje běžně používané programy a zařízení, bez kterých moderní společnosti nemohou existovat. Jejich začlenění do komunikační politiky firmy ale velice záleží na oboru, ve kterém se společnost pohybuje. Společnosti v praktické části jsou svým zaměřením velice odlišné. Společnost VigPlus holding zastřešuje plnou řadu společností s rozdílným oborem podnikání, které byly původně dceřinými společnostmi Unicorn holdingu. Ze zaměření obou firem je patrné, že v každé z nich má informační a komunikační technologie v komunikačním procesu jiné zastoupení. Společným prostředkem komunikace přesto zůstává interní informační systém UES. Ačkoli jsou obě firmy velice dobře organizovány, i zde se vyskytují některé nedostatky, na které je třeba reagovat.
