Physics of interfaces in magnetic nano structures
Ohnoutek, Lukáš ; Veis, Martin (advisor) ; Urbánek, Michal (referee)
Modification of interfaces in nanostructures can significantly influence their overall properties. Magneto-optical spectroscopy and spectroscopic ellipsometry are ideal for studying these phenomena thanks to their in-depth sensitivity and contactless measurements. Two methods of nonreversible modification of magnetic properties, especially the magnetic anisotropy, are investigated. The measured spectral dependence of magneto-optical Kerr effect is compared to a theoretical calculation in order to determine the profile of the samples for different levels and methods of modification. In addition to this, ellipsometric measurements are performed on a device whose optical properties change by voltage application.
Measuring of Key Parameters of Experimental LTE-A Mobile Network
Bednář, David ; Mašek, Pavel (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis is about measurment of experimental mobility network LTE-A setwork parameters on BUT in Brno. In the first part there is born of LTE network, which continues with general architecture of mobility and experimental LTE-A network. Together with thesis there is a description of measurment machine, with which was measurement provided. The result of thesis is created web application, which behavior is compress of measured values of LTE network parameters and create universal graphs.
User Interface National Repository of Grey Literature 2012
Pavlová, Lucie
V centrálním rozhraní NUŠL (www.nusl.cz) je již připojeno přes 70 institucí z řad pracovišť Akademie věd České republiky, státních i soukromých vysokých škol, veřejných výzkumných organizací, knihoven, muzeí a dalších. Různorodost zaměření těchto institucí vedla k dalším rozšířením a úpravám v centrálním rozhraní NUŠL, které využívá vyhledávací systém FAST Search. Představena bude nová funkcionalita centrálního rozhraní NUŠL a také novinky z vývoje vyhledávacího systému FAST samotného. Součástí příspěvku budou i praktické ukázky.

OpenGrey - how it works and how it is used
Stock, Christiane
OpenGrey is a unique repository providing open access to European grey literature references, the result of 25 years of cooperation. This paper presents the features of the new website, successor to OpenSIGLE, and reports on lessons learned from the transfer of metadata between platforms. OpenGrey usage data and feedback information support our advocacy for more grey literature in repositories.

Designing a user interface for creating applications in VBA
Nagrant, Richard ; Benáčanová, Helena (advisor) ; Lorenc, Miroslav (referee)
My bachelor thesis is dedicated to the issue through the use of controls using VBA language and macros in Excel. The goal is to bring users a detailed look at creating user interface followed by application of controls. The introductory part shows differences between versions of MS Excel 2003 and 2007, to which are attached survey results. The theoretical part describes the most common controls, its most important features and also is given clear example. In practical part I applied the use of controls in user interface, I also put emphasis on the interaction of controls and worksheets in workbook. The result is an application for dynamic records management, which can be used to make outputs in the form of either pivot tables or text file exports. This thesis may be used as a guide for users, who don't have experiences with creating of user interfaces using VBA
Designing the user interface of study information system VSE
Šromek, Jan ; Sigmund, Tomáš (advisor) ; Snížek, Martin (referee)
The main aim of this paper is to analyse the user interface of current school information system and to redesign new interface based on user testing results. The assumption for reaching this goal is the necessary knowledge of principles of designing modern user interfaces. The benefit consists in creating a whole new structure of navigation system and in the redesigning layouts. The beginning part of this work presents value of usability user interface and who is designing and testing it. The following part describes principles of modern user interfaces. Conclusion part of this paper presents a case study, which describes the problems of current user interface of the ISIS and the new solution of user interface ISIS and its navigation system.
GUI enabling an interactive mode of methods invocation for plug-in BJ2NB in the NetBeans IDE
Matviichuk, Oleksandr ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (referee)
This bachelor thesis is a part of BJ2NB project (BlueJ-2 NetBeans). The project aims to create a plug-in for NetBeans that would allow the NetBeans IDE to implement a number of approaches to work, commonly used in the BlueJ environment. The thesis deals with creating a graphical user interface that would allow an interactive mode of running the methods. The work is divided into three parts. The first part is an analysis of approaches used to implement an interactive mode on Java platform. The analysis is focused mainly on the existing development environments that have interactive mode already implemented. Based on the analysis in the second part a design of graphical user interface was created. Its implementation is available as a supplement to this work. The last part contains the user guide.
Development of CMS Joomla extension supporting automatic XSLT
Fišer, David ; Hazucha, Andrej (advisor) ; Kosek, Jiří (referee)
The work is focused on extending the Joomla content plugin - XSLT Magic - written by Bc. Michal Vrchnota. This plugin was developed as a part of the SEWEBER CMS project. The main purposes of this plugin are XSLT transformations of articles made up from XML documents. One of the main reasons for creation of this work was the increasing number of transformations and their unsolved management. Another reason was bad controllability of this component and the lack of admin interface. The extension made up as a part of this work allows users to effectively manage XSLT transformations. Users will be able to look into the directory, where the transformations are being stored directly throught the CMS Joomla system. This wasn't possible up to now, because the the CMS system in its basic version lacks the component to manage files. Additionaly, users will be able to upload files into these directories and create new sub-directories. Looking into the transformations will not be a problem anymore, users will even be able to edit them in a simple text editor with marked XML syntax. Second part of the extension is focused on the administration of the original content plugin. The configuration has been made easier, so selecting transfomation to the XPath rule is simplier and users now can select the transformation from a list. This work can be used as an inspiration in creating new extensions for CMS Joomla.
