Modules in floorball information system - an assessment of innovation
Čížek, Michal ; Bruckner, Tomáš (advisor) ; Filippi, Tomáš (referee)
In this project I will be reviewing innovations in the new Floorball information system. The whole system is divided into three categories (modules), for a better understanding of the processes and functionality. First I would like to mention reasons why there was a demand for a new IS and what changes it has brought to the users. By users I mean the players, team secretary, coach, Floorball Union employees etc. Each module outlines the basic functionality and processes that a user can perform. For the evaluation I will use my own observation. These resources will be my experience, after working with the system for the past year as well as results from conducted surveys pertaining to the upgrades. Surveys were sent to members of the Floorball Union network using social media, such as Facebook as well as via Email. Professional Consultations were also conducted with my floorball coach as well as employees from the Secretariat & Registry CFBU. The audio recording of the mentioned consultations is attached. For the final evaluation I will be using my own view of the issues/problems (player's license, statistics). Using the knowledge obtained from the above sources, I will be able to either confirm or refute the debate. Finally, it is my goal to propose my solution how to correct or eliminate major flaws/drawbacks of the system.

Karel, Tomáš ; Hebák, Petr (advisor) ; Vilikus, Ondřej (referee)
The historical development of statistical theories contains a particular combat between Clasical (frequentist) and Bayessian School. This thesis brings near the history of this development, elaborates on possibilities about future applicability of Bayessian approach into other scientific areas and usability in teaching basic courses of statistics. The thesis summarizes important contributors and their significant contributions in Bayessian field. Their work helped to spread these methodes within scientific community. We briefly describe the differences between frequentist and bayesian approach. These are further demonstrated on two motivation examples. The same is carried on demostration of the differences between subjective approach and objective approach in probabilistic understanding and its influence on conducting the result. This work is aimed as the short introductory text for future students with the same for Bayessians as I posses.

The purpose of the questionnaire was to establish whether patients with pulmonary hypertension often suffer from depression, whether the illness affects their health and social status and whether clients have sufficient information about pulmonary hypertension. The results show that the objectives were fulfilled. It has been proved that clients with pulmonary hypertension suffer from depression, their health and social status is also affected by the illness and most of them have sufficient information about pulmonary hypertension. This work can serve as a well-arranged source of information for different cardiology departments that deal with pulmonary hypertension. I am sure that the clients themselves would like to see the results of this work, let alone the Association of Pulmonary Hypertension Patients. This association follows not only specialized literature, but also the quality of life of and benefits for people with pulmonary hypertension.
