Design Study of Highway Electrical Passenger Car
Přikryl, Karel ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
This thesis deals with design concept of the electric car. At first, vehicle dynamics was solved in program MathCad. The components were selected from the obtained results. This was followed by a proposal layout design and vehicles main dimensions design. The frame was created in program ProEngineer, and then imported into ANSYS. Simulation of torsional rigidity was made in ANSYS by FEM.
The Use of Virtual Reality in Vehicle Dynamics
Mach, Břetislav ; Zháňal, Lubor (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this master’s thesis is to use virtual reality to analyze and display the vehicle and the quantities characterizing the dynamic properties of the vehicle. The simulation software tools are used Matlab/Simulink and Virtual Reality Toolbox. The measured or calculated data will the input for the simulation. The dissertation is aimed to create a virtual scene and a dynamic system for the movement of file.
Electronic Unit for Data Acquisition of Vehicle Dynamic
Machač, Jakub ; Rasch, František (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on design of an electronic unit for data acquisition of vehicle dynamics. It deals with not only design, but also with the testing and comparing to the other common used electronic units. It also includes proposition for choosing the measured quantities as well as their brief features and description of common used sensors to measure them.
Představení projektu icompose - integrované řízení sdruženého pohonu a duálního zdroje energie u plně elektrických vozidel
Machan, Jaroslav ; Nedoma, Pavel ; Plíhal, Jiří
This paper introduces the current state of research project related to novel comprehensive energy management system for different drivetrain configurations (with single or multiple electric motors, 1 or 2 energy storage systems), which improves energy efficiency, driveability, safety and comfort of FEVs. This subject is currently investigated within the European Union (EU) funded Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) consortium iCOMPOSE, focused on the development and experimental testing of novel control strategies. Project is solved by consortium research public and private institutions/companies Kompetenzzentrum - Das virtuelle Fahrzeug ,Forschungsgesellschaft mbH; Univerzita v Surrey; Lotus Cars Limited; ŠKODA AUTO a.s., Flanders' Drive; Hutchinson SA, AVL List GmbH, Infineon Technologies AG; Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft zur Förderung der angewandten Forschung E.V.
Experimental methodology of measuring
Lojková, Lea ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
This work is focused on the development of a thorough study about ISO standards focused on the vehicle dynamics, standardized tests of vehicle dynamics and measured variables that allow us to describe and model the behaviour of riding vehicles properly. In the Appendix A of the thesis, there is a list of all known ISO standards dealing with given topic. The standard ISO 15037-1 Road vehicles – Vehicle dynamics test methods, Part 1: General conditions for passenger cars is described in detail, including the forms for test reports and the Appendix C and D. In the thesis, there is also described a model of minimal needed measuring system that is still in good accordance with the standard ISO 15037-1 and fulfills all its requirements. Detailed description of all used sensors that are used to measure required variables is given, as well as a short description of all sensors that are used for measurement of other variables. After that, measurement abilities of the instrumentation of measuring system RIO used in ÚADI FSI Brno is compared and confronted with requirements given by the standard, to see, if all given criteria are properly fulfilled. Because of the fact that standard-given criteria are quite mild, while the equipment of the faculty is high-level technology, mostly made directly for measuring of dynamic parameters of the vehicles, including racing vehicles, the system is in full accordance with the standard ISO 15037-1.
Tyres and Vehicle Dynamics
Kusyn, Petr ; Porteš, Petr (referee) ; Molliková, Eva (advisor)
Objective of this bachelor thesis is mainly the familiarization with factors, that affect vehicle dynamics and the explanation how are these factors reflected in the requirement on the construction of tyres. Another parts are dedicated to the construction itself and properties of the tyre and also to the tyre models, which become essential part in the development of new constructions and materials during manufacturing of the tyres.
Suspensions of passenger and race cars
Ševčík, Jan ; Zháňal, Lubor (referee) ; Porteš, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor thesis focuses on comparing different types of axles between them with emphasis on changing the geometry during propružení.In student version of Autodesk Inventor Professional was created virtual models of axles and virtual test polygon. The output of the program are a series of images showing the axle during springing. Changes in geometry are quoted, described and analyzed. In conclusion there are compared to civil rights and race suspension.
