Off-grid houses
Sedlák, Šimon ; Lachman, Jakub (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with energy efficient homes and the use of technologies leading to reduced reliance on utilities. The practical part describes the renovation of a single-family house into a hybrid house that uses available technologies to reduce dependence on utilities.
Sanitation installation and gas installation in a office building
Cigánková, Kristýna ; Bárta, Ladislav (referee) ; Vrána, Jakub (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused to plumbing systems problems. Theoretical part solves water heating mainly in administration buildings. The calculations and project show designing of the watermain, sewer systém and gas distribution systém and their property connections. Solved object is three – storey administration building in Příbram.
Heat Pump in the Heating System
Andrš, Matěj ; Počinková, Marcela (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the design of heating of a newly built family house. The theoretical part introduces heat pumps and deals with their basic characteristics and types of heat pumps. The calculation part describes the specific design of the heating of the building and the design of individual components in the heating system. A ground/water heat pump is proposed as the heat source, where heat will be extracted from the ground using deep boreholes. The heating of the building will be done by underfloor heating. The hot water will be prepared in a heat pump. The technical report then describes the design and technical requirements.
Comparative study of hot water system with photovoltaic and photothermal panels
Junas, Milan ; Tuhovčák, Ján (referee) ; Fišer, Jan (advisor)
The main topic of this bachelor thesis is to compare two methods of water heating that use to the energy acquired by solar photovoltaic and photothermal method for heating. Both systems are in thesis compared in terms of technical, financial and operational performance. As a basis for comparison will serve a photothermal system installed on a family house, which is inhabited by a three-member family. According to the analysis conducted energy consumption for water heating and data PVGIS computational model was created and a photovoltaic system was built, which consists of specific components so as to be able to replace an existing photothermal system and provide much-needed energy for water heating in the family house. Subsequently, a financial comparison of different systems was carried out, from which it is clear that an appropriate choice for the family house is also due to falling prices the photovoltaic system. The PV system prevails not only financially, but also on the difficulty of installation, number of components, the actual maintenance and operating performance.
Heating of Family House-Heat Pumps
Choutka, Petr ; Čupr,, Karek (referee) ; Treuová, Lea (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis contains a proposal of the heating of a detached house and a proposal of a suitable heating source. In the first part of the thesis there is an explanation of basic kinds of heating systems and types of heat pumps. The second part includes the description of the building, the determination of its basic parameters, the calculation of the heat loss and the heat demand for the whole household. Then a proposal of a heating system and a proposal of a suitable heating pump follow. In the end there is the comparison of the expected heating costs.
Heat exchanger for waste heat utilization
Švach, Šimon ; Brázdil, Marian (referee) ; Špiláček, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with waste heat recovery using a heat exchanger. The aim of the thesis was to design a heat exchanger for the recovery of hot water from the cooling of a concentrator photovoltaic panel. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part, a literature research on heat recovery and photovoltaics was carried out. In the practical part, a heat exchanger has been designed for a specific solution.

Design of a heating system for an apartment building
Poul, Jiří ; Horká, Lucie (referee) ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (advisor)
The aim of bachelor thesis is a suitable design of a heating system and hot water heating system for an apartment building in Nové Město na Moravě. The apartment building is built on a sloping land. The building has one basement, four above-ground floors and an attic. The apartment building has a collective garage and cellars, which are located, in the basement. There are twenty-five apartments on the upper floors. The theoretical part describes the different types of heat sources. In the calculation part is solve heating system of the apartment building. There is a detailed calculation of heat losses, design of heaters, design of heat source, design of water heating and equipment for the proper functioning of the heating system.
Design of a heating system of a new apartment building
Kaša, Filip ; Maurerová, Lenka (referee) ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis aims to design heating and hot water heating of a new apartment building in Nové Město na Moravě. The building has one underground floor and four above-ground floors. Heating is designed only for the upper floors, where there are living spaces. The sharing of heat into the space is ensured by plate radiators, tubular radiators and floor convectors. The system is designed in copper piping, as a hot water two-pipe. The system is powered by three gas condensing boilers. Hot water is heated by a storage heater.
