Real-Time Object Localization
Rydlo, Štěpán ; Chudý, Peter (referee) ; Kolář, Dušan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis purposes solution of a radio signal processing to determine actual receiver position on computers using software defined radio. The purpose of this thesis is to create and parallelize program to achieve real-time processing . To achieve real-time processing we will use GPU . This work contains a description of two independent possibilities of data transfer and processing .
Design of a System for Precise Localization Services
Krippel, Martin ; Ščuglík, František (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of this term project was to analyze wireless indoor localization. It contains analysis of some wireless localization techniques such as Time of Arrival or Time Difference of Arrival. The paper also describes the system of SEWIO Company. Main part of the master’s thesis is description, design and implementation of the Kalman filter. The Kalman filter is used to improve two-dimensional positional data and synchronization of anchors (devices for finding a position of an object in SEWIO system). There are described a few system models for the Kalman filter.
Methods for localization of pulsed broadband signal source
Machala, Petr ; Hadinec, Michal (referee) ; Drexler, Petr (advisor)
The topic of this barchelor’s thesis is the analysis of problems regarding localization of partial discharges (PD) and related PD recording, processing and interpretation in time and frequency domain. In majority of cases the occurrence of partial discharges refers to a certain defect in the measured device, therefore in practice (eg large equipment such as oil transformers) it appears to be very useful and economical to determine the exact position, where PDs are formed. To address these complex issues, it is necessary to design the entire measuring chain from PD detection to measured data processing and localization itself. In terms of data processing and PD localization many different localization and detection methods can be applied, some of them are presented in this documentation. These methods are gradually studied, implemented and afterwards tested using the input data of the experiment.
Analysis of wireless environment using the Ekahau system and the possibilities of cooperation with other systems
Tinka, Zdeněk ; Bartl, Milan (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
The work is divided into two parts. Firts of all deals with surveying and analysis of wireless environment. It contains familiar with analysator Ekahau Site Survey. Below are implementation of the map and then surveying of quality of networks. Finally describes the evaluation results and optimization of networks. The second part describes the localization of objects by AeroScout system using a wireless environment. It occurs in the theoretical description of the topology and equipment necessary for proper operation and practical work progress and evaluate the second part.
Range measurement in wireless networks
Zikmund, Lukáš ; Šimek, Milan (referee) ; Morávek, Patrik (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on possibilities of distance measurement in wireless sensor networks. It describes various methods, compares their advantages and disadvantages and their potential applications in the real world. A part of this work presents a real measurement using product solution Cricket and IRIS. It compares their advantages and disadvantages and applicability in the real environment.
Possibilities of noise measurement on machine tools and determine their source
Malušek, Pavel ; Šubrt, Kamil (referee) ; Kroupa, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with methods for sound source localization. It also analyzes types of microphones which are used for this purpose. There are detailed described the parameters of the microphones at first, principles of every method and their application in practice then. The aim of this thesis is application of these methods in determining the sound sources on machine tools and evaluation the advantages of individual methods for the specific purpose.

Acoustic Sources Localization Using TDOA Method
Bernkopf, Jan ; Vyskočil, Pavel (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
The project deals with theoretical and practical resolution of acoustic localization using TDOA method. It specifies designing circuitry for receiver and transmitter. Furthermore it introduces the way of communication between microprocessor that analyzes received signal and computer that displays the result in understandable shape. And finally it is concerned with designing printed wirings.
Microphone arrays for spatial separation of acoustic signals
Grobelný, Petr ; Schimmel, Jiří (referee) ; Míča, Ivan (advisor)
The goal of this master’s thesis is to explore the possibilities of multichannel localization of acoustic signal sources and their following application on a real signal localization and separation, using Beamforming methods. During this thesis two beamforming methods were selected, namely Delay and Sum a Constant Directivity Beamforming - Circular Arrays, and were applicated on real environment signals using two microphone arrays’ geometries ULA (Uniform linear array) and UCA (Uniform Circular array).
Localization of moving acoustical sources
Bezdíček, Martin ; Rampl, Ivan (referee) ; Míča, Ivan (advisor)
This master's thesis is focused on localization static (entering semester project) and moving acoustic sources (entering master's thesis) by the help of microphonic arrays. In the first part deal with common problems of localization. Further are here described types of microphonic arrays, simplifying possibilities which delimited this problems and general information about room acoustics. In the next part of this master's thesis are step by step mentioned methods localization of acoustic sources. In practical part were used algorithms: Steered-Beamformer-Based Locators and TDOA-Based Locators. Last part of this master's work includes results of these algorithms.
