Evaluation of photovoltaic power system in the company area
Novák, Petr ; Maule, Petr (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the evaluation of a photovoltaic power plant in the company premises. The first chapters briefly discuss the theory of electricity generation using photovoltaic panels. It describes the principle of operation of photovoltaic panels, history, production, etc. In the practical part of the thesis we focus on the evaluation of the company's photovoltaic power plant when comparing real data with simulations.
Solar Flares from Optical to X-ray Emission
Nejedlý, Jaroslav ; Kašparová, Jana (advisor) ; Řípa, Jakub (referee)
Solar flare is a phenomenon during which a large amount of energy is released in various forms. Part of this energy is released in form of different electromagnetic radiation. By analysing hard X-ray spectra of such emission it is possible to derive various parameters of a flare. Thanks to accurate images of solar atmosphere in comparatively high resolution, it is possible to analyse spatial structure of solar flares. By combining data from RHESSI, SDO, GOES, and ground-based observatories, it is feasible to gain an overview of various aspects of solar flares. Combination of multiple different observations of same event will allow us to compare obtained results. The result of this thesis is an analysis of spectra and spatial structures of two selected flares and derivation of their parameters. 1
Oscilační procesy v magnetických strukturách sluneční koróny
EFFENBERK, Kryštof
This diploma thesis is focused on waves and oscillations in the solar corona, which takes place in a large number of phenomena that occurs here. In recent years these waves have been observed in Earth observation same like as cosmic observation. The task of this thesis is to familiarize with the problems of waves and oscillations in solar corona and subsequent interpretation into numerical simulations that are performed by FLASH code. The aim of the work will be to modify numerical simulations and thus to achieve more realistic of the observed phenomena.
Galaxy Generator for Games
Březina, Karel ; Kobrtek, Jozef (referee) ; Starka, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis is focused on design and implementation of procedural generator of galaxy for games or simulations. Second goal is implementation of demonstration application which is showing possible usage of generator. Generator is able to create galaxy by predefined types or by user created map.

A new generation of solar instruments provides improved spectral, spatial, and temporal resolution, thus facilitating a better understanding of dynamic processes on the Sun. High-resolution observations often reveal multiple-component spectral line profiles, which provides information about the chromospheric velocity and magnetic fine structure. We observed an emerging flux region, including two small pores and an arch filament system, on 2015 April 17 with the "very fast spectroscopic mode" of the GREGOR Infrared Spectrograph (GRIS) situated at the 1.5-meter GREGOR solar telescope at Observatorio del Teide, Tenerife, Spain. We discuss this method of obtaining fast (one per minute) spectral scans of the solar surface and its potential to follow dynamic processes on the Sun. We demonstrate the performance of the "very fast spectroscopic mode" by tracking chromospheric high-velocity features in the arch filament system.
Study of white-light flares
Mravcová, Lucia ; Švanda, Michal (advisor) ; Heinzel, Petr (referee)
Solar flares are a relatively common and strong demonstration of the solar ac- tivity and are observable throughout the whole electromagnetic spectrum. Some- times, solar flares are also accompanied with an emission in white-light contin- uum, then we speak of white-light flares. The origin of white-light flares is not entirely understood up to this day. The detection of white-light flares can be difficult, therefore we developed a program for automatic detection of white-light flares in SDO/HMI observations. After that, we studied properties of the detected white-light flares. Our work implies that there are two types of white-light flares depending on an X-ray flux of a solar flare. The difference between these two groups can be caused by a different behaviour of the magnetic field in the neigh- bourhood of the detected white-light flares. Our discovery could help in a better understanding of the origin of white-light flares. 1
Design of Solar Garden Shower
Bajková, Eva ; Bukvald, Jiří (referee) ; Sládek, Josef (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on design of solar garden shower. The work analyses current products, describes basic technical parameters and brings design solution. The aim of this work is to improve estetics with regard to ergonomics and functionality.
From the sensual experience to the transcendental one in the selected works by: A. Gide and J.M.G. Le Clézio
Vrchovecká, Jana ; Jamek, Václav (advisor) ; Voldřichová - Beránková, Eva (referee)
Jana Vrchovecká: From the sensual experience to the transcendental one The tradition of sensualism or vitalism is rarely represented in the French literature. During the twentieth century several authors tried to revive this tendency. The first apologist was André Gide, whose work Les Nourritures terrestres (1893) was considered as a doctrine of the sensual attitude, and for its spiritual overlap it was even called The New evangel. The deification of the material aspect of the reality becomes the link with the last holder of the Nobel Literature Prize: Jean-Marie Gustave Le Clézio. In his early essay: L'Extase matérielle (1968) he also exalts the sensual experience as the base of the transcendental one. The first part of the work compares the authors' sensual attitude in the mentioned works by the analyse of the particular senses. The synchronic participation of all them should provoke the second state of consciousness whose first grade is the ecstasy and the most desired one is the prophetic mind. The second part analyses the factors that contribute to this double objective. The necessary condition is the anchoring in the present moment. Both the authors worship the cult of the Sun which substitutes the traditional notion of the God. However, the individual must also cut out the bonds that impede...
Sun cult during the Old Kingdom
Hlouchová, Marie ; Krejčí, Jaromír (advisor) ; Bareš, Ladislav (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to enrich existing knowledge concerning to the sun cult in the period of the Egyptian Old Kingdom when the cult of the sun god Ra was strongly connected with the ideology of the kingship of the ancient Egyptian state and also with the belief in eternal afterlife of king. On the basis of chosen writing, epigraphical and archeological documents the thesis will try to describe extent and effect of the sun cult on the ancient Egyptian society.
