Pastoral aspects of Baptism in the current debate in the German speaking sphere..
Kolářová Takácsová, Kornélia ; Filipi, Pavel (advisor) ; Michalcová, Andrea (referee) ; Filipi, Pavel (referee)
The thesis "Pastoral aspects of the baptism in the current discussion in the German speaking countries" analyzes critically the theological discussion since the seventies. The baptism is deprived of its closely sacramental and christological determination and is treated as an occasional service. Biographical and ritual concepts of the occasional services attribute to these acts a special theological significance that cannot be derived from Christ's commission to preach the gospel, but rather is rooted in a piety, which targets the life cycle of individuals and families. Occasional services are therefore seen as a pastoral accompaniment of man in his fault (and critical) stage of life. Its aim is to convey his emotional and cognitive stabilization and assist in re-establishing his fluctuating identity. The practice of the baptism, in this perspective, must regard ambivalent experiences of parents and provide them an appropriate religious intervention. Traditional theological contents of the baptism are markedly eliminated with regard to the situation of the distant Christians who became estranged from the reflected Christianity. Presented thesis is about fathers on parental leave in the Czech republic. Althought the men can take a parental leave since 2001, they are still the phenomenon in the society. The women are the dominant in parental leave, so there prevails the tradition division of roles. Also describes the family functioning, parental role, gender role and stereotypes. The next part of thesis is focused on history of paternity, relationship between the father and child, and paternity parenting styles. The practical part contains ten interviews which research the experience and opinions of men on the parental leave. There are as well opinions from the wives/partners, who exchanged the roles with their male partners. Using the questionnaire survey, which was filled in by 238 respondents, there was researched what attitude does the Czech society have to the topic and generally to the position of men on parental leave.

The social role of woman in the 21st century from the perspective of men
PROKŮPKOVÁ, Jana
This thesis deals in it?s theoretical part with the changing of social role of women in the course of human existence and history of the feminist movement. It observes the differences between men and women from three perspectives: biological, psychological, sociological, and on their basis reveals their properties for which individuals choose the preference of life partner. Thesis also focuses on the labor market situation in terms of gender. In the practical part, based on interviews with 10 men and 10 women, I evaluate the views at how men see the role of women in society and also as well how women themselves see their role. At first I found out how the household in which the respondents grew up in work in the division of daily tasks, how they want their own households to work (or as they works) and then I compared the results. Then I focused on qualities and skills which are in interviews attributed to women and men, what´s the position of women in the labor market in their opinion or why the number of divorces is constantly increasing and why the age for starting a family is increasing as well. The work affects not only the view of men of women's social mission, but also the view of women themselves in the light of expectations that men (and society) have towards to women.

Exocyst subunit AtSEC15b: its role in plant cell morphogenesis and characterization of its Rab interacting partner
Toupalová, Hana ; Žárský, Viktor (advisor) ; Baluška, František (referee) ; Hašek, Jiří (referee)
Organization of endomembrane compartments in all eukaryotic cells is dependent on continuous transport of membrane vesicles. Major part of the core regulators of intracellular membrane transport is represented by small GTPases from the Rab family. Rab GTPases cycle between the GTP-bound "active" and GDP-bound "inactive" forms. In their active form, they are able to interact with specific effectors and perform their functions. Exocyst is an octameric complex involved in regulation of secretion. It functions as an effector of Rab GTPases in yeast and mammals and tethers secretory vesicles to the plasma membrane prior to the actual membrane fusion. Using publicly available expression data, we have identified candidates from Rab GTPase family for the interaction with exocyst subunit AtSEC15b in plants and demonstrated that AtSEC15b specifically interacts with AtRABA4a GTPase. We also showed that, like in yeast and mammals, Arabidopsis Sec15b binds Rab GTPase also probably in GTP-dependent manner, implying that this interaction is well conserved throughout the eukaryotic kingdoms. We also successfully demonstrated the complementation of yeast thermo-sensitive mutant strain, sec15-1. Based on this observation we concluded that AtSEC15b is able to substitute the function of yeast SEC15 and restore the phenotype....

Child abuse and neglect and possibilities of his legal protection (in context of family preservation)
Tesařová, Veronika ; Kodymová, Pavla (advisor) ; Holda, Dalibor (referee)
Problematika spadající pod syndrom CAN - zejména je-li pachatelem rodič dítěte - je velmi závažným společenským selháním.
