Last but not least, the rail track scheme of the station has been simplified.

Building services of near zero energy bulildings
Fikejsl, Tomáš ; Komínek, Petr (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis deals with the issue will be nearly zero energy. The theoretical part is divided into several chapters. Describes the requirements of applicable legislation of the Czech Republic and the EU and the application of renewable energy in these buildings. The third and last part serves as a basis for part of the experiment. Calculation section applies theoretical knowledge into practice. The subject has become a new residential building in which they are designed to ensure the technical equipment required internal environment. The proposal concerns the heating, ventilation, cooling, domestic hot water and lighting. At the end are attached graphic of energy performance certificates (PENB) and evaluated the economic and ecological point of view. The experiment deals with the measurement of the internal microclimate administrative building type in Brno, with regard to the requirements of current legislation of the Czech Republic.

Reinforcement concrete column strengthening via steel bandage
Stloukal, Štěpán ; Laníková, Ivana (referee) ; Šimůnek, Petr (advisor)
The steel bandage is an economical and effective widely used method for strengthening RC columns. Diploma thesis reviews most common design proposals for the types of the bandage with directly loaded and not directly loaded steel angles. This work also includes a comparison of the different constitutive laws for confined concrete. In order to simulate real behaviour of strengthened structure the numerical analysis has been carried out using non-linear software ATENA. According to the European standards and adopted hypotheses the simplified analytical model has been derived to be able to calculate load-bearing capacity of a strengthened column under normal force and bending moment. The proposed model considers the contribution in confinement pressure caused by steel bandage and the contribution of directly loaded angles. In addition, the direct application on real frame structure has been performed.

Context-Dependent Dictionary for Translators
Fanta, Petr ; Bojar, Ondřej (advisor) ; Kuboň, Vladislav (referee)
During a manual translation of short texts, such as texts occurring on social networks or microblogs (e.g., Twitter), translators are often forced to gather additional information from various sources. These can include less common words, domain-specific terms, or numerous abbreviations. The aim of this thesis is to design and implement a system which automatically creates a minimal context-dependent dictionary for the given short message. The system identifies suitable dictionary entries in the translated text and searches for their definitions, translations, and examples from available open sources, or extracts them automatically from a parallel corpus. The resulted dictionary is ideally sufficient for human translators to understand the message, and to choose appropriate translation equivalent (including technical terms). An empirical evaluation is based on statistics which tracks how often users were satisfied with the proposed entries, how often the entries were incorrect and to what extent the system correctly identified the relevance for the input text.

A comparative analysis of the Czech and German positions on solving the European migrant crisis in 2015
Szantová, Ivona ; Maslowski, Nicolas (advisor) ; Dubský, Zbyněk (referee)
The question of increasing immigration and refugee pressure in Europe has become a sensitive political and economic issues, and also subject to ideological conflicts, not only in countries that face this phenomenon most intensively, but also in those member states that are not considered to be typical immigrant states such as the Czech Republic. While during the previous crisis in the eurozone and the Greek debt crisis the division of the EU to the north and south could be observed, migrant crisis in 2015 divided the EU in another way. It is rather excessive compassion of the West on one side and xenophobic attitude of Eastern European countries on the other. Diploma thesis will examine the similarities and differences of opinions on solving the migrant crisis between the two EU member states, which represent these two ideological poles, Germany and the Czech Republic, with the regard to their international legal obligations, obligations of membership in the EU and protection of their own national interests. It will also examine what influences the formation of these opinions and what role can the phenomenon of migration crisis play in the building or a change of state identity.

Development of public expenditures in light of the progress of political cycles in Czech Republic between years 2000 and 2015
Kříž, Karel ; Ševčík, Miroslav (advisor) ; Vebrová, Ludmila (referee)
The thesis is concerned with the analysis of the development of public expenditures in Czech Republic between the years 2000 and 2015 with regard to the progress of political cycles. The analysis of overall development of each budget chapter (especially the year on year comparison) is based on real outcomes of state finances collected from final state accounts. The purpose of the thesis is to discover potential influence of political cycles on the level and structure of public expenses. The author created his own theoretical assumptions and set an original methodological approach. Final findings mostly comply with the created hypothesis.

Cyber security from the perspective of business entities
Kameníček, Lukáš ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Čermák, Igor (referee)
This thesis deals with the issue of cyber security in enterprises. The main objective of this thesis is to compile a comprehensive overview of the issue of cyber security related to the Czech business entities. It is written in the context in Czech language and in less technical form. This thesis first identifies the current cyber threats, supported by examples of actual incidents. On the basis of the threats thesis defines the categories of business entities that are vulnerable to the threats, and with regard to the Czech legal system analyzes cybersecurity responsibilities. Above the legal obligations there are recommended measures and types of security tests that can check the level of cybersecurity. The output is also a methodological tool for better understanding of cyber security in companies which summarize acquired information and context in comprehensive tables. The expected contribution of this thesis is that summarized findings will serve to increase the level of IT security for Czech businesses.
