Technology design of labyrinth packing lining production
Katolický, Jiří ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Daněk, Ladislav (advisor)
The diploma work is focused to evaluation of contemporary state of sealing system solution of high speed turbine engines in the world and, newly suggesting nontraditional design of labyrinth sealing lining for turbine side of small turbojet engine, including the production technology, technical-economic classification and experimental verification.
Engine simulator - HW development
Starosta, Michal ; Hutyra, Tomáš (referee) ; Klusáček, Stanislav (advisor)
STAROSTA, Michal . ENGINE SIMULATOR – HARDWARE SUGGESTION. Bachelor’s thesis. Brno: University of Technology, Faculty of electrical engineering and communication, 2009. 51 s., Supervisor.: Ing. Stanislav Klusáček. This work describes suggestion of concept of simulator of jet egine for purposes of testing control unit for this engine FADEC. There are described possibilities of software and hardware facilities for simulator realization. Possibilities of software facilities are mainly focused on Matlab / Simulink program to communicate in real time with card for data acquisition.
Modern low-emission combustion chamber for jet engines
Mašek, Jakub ; Nastálek, Ondřej (referee) ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis examines modern low-emission combustion chambers for jet engines. It´s foremost aim is to specify construction parameters of low-emission combustion chambers, compare it´s features and comprise the use of these combustors in civil aviation. Thesis deals with reasons of modern low-emission combustion chamber development and estimate future development in the region of aircraft industry. Another aim is to specify legislations of aviation emissions, history of certification standards and organizations, which make and control these limits.
Maintenance of jet engines
Drápal, Stanislav ; Koštial, Rostislav (referee) ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis relates to the problematic of jet engine maintenance. In the first part the reader is introduced to the historic context and functionality of the jet engine as well as to the various types of this engine. The second part relates to the problematic of maintenance, shows and compares different concepts and shows modern trends in this field. The last part is based on my visit in Letecké opravny Malešice, and shows practical methods used during overhauls of jet engines.
Aircraft jet engines with adaptive cycle
Heczko, Nikodem ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (referee) ; Klement, Josef (advisor)
In this final bachelor thesis is a basic overview and distribution of gas turbine engines, including a brief description of their function. The work is focused on jet engines with adaptive cycle. It introduces benefits of their use as aviation fuel units in terms of efficiency and description of possible ways to design solutions. Secondly, it analyzes the very principle of adaptive cycle and its implementation on the engine YF120. In conclusion are presented research programs dealing with adaptive cycle.
The history of civil aviation 1950-1970
Bednář, Ondřej ; Kaddour, Mirvat (referee) ; Chlebek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis creates an overwiev of the history od civil aviation from 1950 to 1970. After World War II civilian transport aircraft was not common. At the end of the above two decades has become an essential part of traveling on long distance. Attention is given to important events in the history of aviation from transitiv from turboprop to turbofan engine. The highlight of this period was the construction of transport aircraft capable of overcoming supersonic speed. This thesis describes the development of helicopter construction. Attention is also given to the large construction offices in Europe, Asia and North America. Part of the work dealth with a development of aviation in Czechoslovakia.
Trends in aviation jet engines development
Fiala, Luboš ; Klement, Josef (referee) ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor work is to summarize recent developments in aviation jet engines. This development is oriented to reduce fuel consumption and improve thermal and propulsive efficiency. Principles described in this work are based primarily on development programs ACARE, Vision 2020 and VITAL. Projects are under development and some are already at the stage of flight tests.
Testing of Aircraft Jet Engines
Trusík, Vojtěch ; Klement, Josef (referee) ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor final project is composed from two main parts. The first part is focused on describing of aviation agencies, function of jet engine, testing bed and desribing of testing of jet engines. The second part devote to application of CS-E prescription on the jet engine TJ-100 C.
Aircraft Power Units
Koutník, Tomáš ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (referee) ; Šošovička, Róbert (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with review of today most used aircraft power units. Briefly explains their purpose, working principle and most important influences on their function. Voluminous passage informs about main parts of aircraft power units and their functions. At the end of this thesis the directions of aircraft power units development are presented.
The survey of the technical aspects evolution of aircraft jet engines
Doseděl, Filip ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (referee) ; Imriš, Pavel (advisor)
The final bachelor´s thesis clearly processes a technical aspects of jet engines-progress. It deals with their historical develpoment, further it contains overview of the engine-conceptions. My thesis also analysys current engines using in civil aviation and adumbrates their future development.
