Self - perception of one´s body in teenagers related to their self - concept

The diploma dissertation involves dilemma of self-perception of one´s body in teenagers related to their self-concept. It consists of the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part of dissertation defines personality in general and it also describes the teenage period and its typicall physical and psychical characters including the point of view of some theories of evolution. It also describes dilemma of changes of the body and different points of view of slef-perception of one´s body. The practical part of dissertation demonstrates results of evaluation of self-perception one´s body as well as information about content with physiognomy of one´s body and outer effects which influence the self-perception of one´s body mainly by using the quantitative method. The conclusions pointed to that evaluation of one´s body in connection with self-concept is notable and demonstrate differences and specificities between girl´s and boy´s self-perception of one´s body.
Personality of common vole (\kur{Microtus arvalis}): behaviour in new environment

This thesis is focused on intraindividual variations. 96 common voles have been searched in Open-field test. I measured total duration, frequency and latency of behavioral components. Following analysis of datas discovered behavioral differences between voles. I assessed some individuals either as extremely shy or extremely bold but most individuals can be clasified between this extreme values.

The role of personility in bird reaction to conspiciously coloured prey

The aim of this study was to assess differences in personality of forty Great tits and find out possible correlation to the reactions of these birds to aposematic prey, the fifth larval instar of firebug Pyrrhocoris apterus.
Picture as a creative metaphor of addicted person existence

Bachelor work deals with drugs addiction problems. Theoretical part is focused on research of drug addicts{\crq} personality features and motives of their behavior. Further on, it compares finding of emotional-cognitive development theories with the level of clients{\crq} abilities of creative expression. Practical part looks for concrete non-displaced creative metaphors of instinctive wishes in the art-production of addicts. This part also tries to reveal unconscious and unaware motives and to cultivate emotionally immature creative expression of addicts with a view to these motives. There is a comparison of drug addicts{\crq} and alcoholics{\crq} art-production included at the end od this bachelor work.

The study deals with teacher personality, mainly relating to stress coping. Among so-called buffers is explored also optimism, either as an expression of personality characters, or as a life orientation in the continuum optimism pessimism. A theory is used of learned optimism of M. Seligman and so is his questionnaire by investigating teachers, when it was found that in the explanatory terms of optimism teachers dont show any especial values.

Eysenck's typology of personality of computer games players

This study is focused on personality traits of computer games players. The Eysenck's personality questionnaire (EPQ) was used. Differences in psychoticism and extraversion between players and non-players were found. Adolescents who play computer gamees were significantly more extravert and got lower score on psychoticism scale than non-players. Results indicate that heavy use of computer games is associated with higher score on psychoticism, neuroticism, crime and addiction scale.
