Analysis of consumer behaviour

This thesis analyses consumer behaviour connected with chocolate bars. It describes metodology of marketing research. The form of the research is questionnaire. Respondents are students of VŠE. The research discovers popularity of some brands and selling places in the campus. Results are used for the formulation of recommendation for the strategy of sale.
Analysing the computer literacy of VŠE students

This work analyzes theoretical and practical aspects of computer literacy acquisition. The theoretical determination of the term "computer literacy" together with other aspects is defining a scope for analysing the computer literacy of VŠE students after attending basic university-wide compulsory IT subjects. The aim of this work is investigation of the current computer knowledge level, whether the knowledge achieved is sufficient for students for professional career, which involves use of computer for routine agenda. Therefore a survey of computer knowledge of selected top companies on our market is attached. According to confrontation between students and companies, in case of variance, proposals for an improvement of computer literacy at VŠE will be outlined.
Business tasks at universities

Thesis goes through the system and the economic aspects of mutual influences between universities and business environment to the usability of student knowledge in the real corporate environment. The most important part of the theory chapter is a description and evaluation of the various forms of cooperation between students, academics and business. Then there is a follow-up discussion about the role of web technologies in the process of cooperation of these entities. On this basis, the next chapter continues with the interpretation of calculations of economic data, outputs from own surveys and also the interpretation of the findings of several external analysis. The main objective of analytical chapter is to at least particularly reveal and evaluate market opportunities in the mediation of selected forms of cooperation. The final part of the work is a response to identified opportunities in form of the project concept.

The thesis examines the dental hygiene market. It desribes a methodology for marketing research. By the help of questionnaire survey it explores buying habits of university students. The practical part presents the results of research and forms recommendations.
Financing of higher education in the United States

This thesis covers financing of higher education in USA. American higher education must not depend only on state or federal finances. Colleges and universities need to find other resources. Grants and private sector resources compensate low level of state/federal subsidies. First part describes the most important financial resources of today, separately for private and state colleges - federal grants, tuition, local and state government contributions. Next, paper deals with crossover from supporting schools to supporting students and the actual state of tuition levels. In the second part, a brief outline of students'financial aid is given. Federal government manages great amount of money for this particular purpose. Accesibility of higher education in the USA is at the peak, there are currently 18 million students and the number is still rising. Thesis contains charts, graphs and tables to illustrate current situation as well.
Project for web support for students of Informatics

In the thesis, I deal with a present problem of web support for students, concretely for students of Informatics, taught by Faculty of Informatics and Statistics of The University of Economics, Prague. I offer three different variants of new model of the student web support, based on my own experience with the current model. Each variation is built on the navigation schema. At the end of the thesis I compare all three variants in two different ways. On the results of this comparison I set a final way how to rebuilt the students web support.

Analysis of image STUDENT AGENCY

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou firemní image a smyslem jeho řízení z pohledu marketingu i z pohledu managementu v oblasti cestovních kanceláří. Práce obsahuje celkem pět kapitol. První kapitola se zabývá významem pojmu image obecně a způsobem jeho výzkumu. Druhá kapitola charakterizuje ?corporate identity? jako nástroj budování firemní image. A třetí kapitola shrnuje základní pravidla budování image. V návaznosti na část teoretickou jsou ve čtvrté kapitole popsány složky firemní identity společnosti Student Agency a jejich vliv na image Student Agency. Poslední, pátá kapitola, se zabývá výzkumem image Student Agency mezi zákazníky v porovnání s konkurenční firmou GTS International.

Práce se zabývá vztahy studentů Vysoké školy ekonomické a České zemědělské univerzity k ekonomickým periodikům (hlavně čtenost, známost titulů v závislosti na navštěvované vysoké škole, pohlaví, ročníku). Věnuje se novinám, časopisům i zahraničním periodikům a částečně zájmům studentů. V závěru doporučení, jak zvýšit čtenost periodik ze strany studentů.
