Comparison of heat sources for family houses
Mužík, Jan ; Lisá, Hana (referee) ; Toman, Filip (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the comparison of different heat sources for four model houses with different heat losses. The main types of fuels used for heating the houses, such as solid fuels (biomass, fossil fuels), natural gas and electricity, their advantages and disadvantages as well as their environmental impact are presented. Subsequently, a complete overview of the available technologies in the field of heating of family houses is prepared, describing their technical parameters, operation, energy efficiency, costs and environmental impact. The thesis focuses on traditional heat sources such as solid fuel boilers, local heaters, gas and electric boilers, but also on their more modern alternatives such as gasifier boilers, automatic pellet boilers, condensing gas boilers and heat pumps. In the practical part, calculations of the total costs of heating and domestic hot water heating by each heat source of all four model houses are performed. This part is complemented by tables with technical parameters of the selected heat sources and also graphical dependencies comparing their total operating costs.
Design of the heating system for an office building
Hájek, Pavel ; Horká, Lucie (referee) ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design the heating and hot water supply system for an administrative building in the town Pelhřimov. The building consists of four above-ground floors and one underground floor, which is not heated. The heating is provided by panel radiators, pipe radiators, and underfloor convectors. The heat source consists of a cascade of two gas boilers. The hot water preparation is ensured by an indirect storage water heater. The system operates as a two-pipe system with forced water circulation. The pipes are made of insulated copper.
Design of heating system of apartment building
Maier, Miroslav ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (referee) ; Horká, Lucie (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of the heating of apartment building. The work is divided into a theoretical and calculation part and a project. Refrigerants used in heat pumps, their distribution and basic properties are described in the theoretical part. This section also discusses the impact of refrigerants on the environment. In the calculation part, heat losses of the entire building are determined by punctual calculation. The building's heating system is then designed based on the calculated heat output, including pipe sizing, system equipment design, annual heat requirement and heat source design. A cascade of three air-to-water heat pumps is considered here as a heat source. The building is heated by plate and tube heaters. The project part includes the drawing documentation of the project and the technical report.
Energy saving study for family house
Procházka, Vojtěch ; Toman, Filip (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This final thesis deals with the design of measures against heat loss of a family house. These losses depend on the quality of the elements that are used to prevent unwanted heat escape. In the first part, the basic characteristics of these elements and a description of heat sources for a family house are mentioned. In the next part of the work, heat losses are calculated for a specific house and measures leading to their reduction are proposed. Finally, an economic evaluation of the proposed changes is carried out.
Heating Technologies for Household Heating
Krakovič, Vojtěch ; Elbl, Patrik (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis presents and compares the current options for heating family houses. The first part introduces the available heating technologies and types of fuels, explains the principle of their operation, shows the advantages and disadvantages, and for which type of building each type is suitable. It will gradually introduce heating with solid fuels, gas and electricity, and continue to heat pumps and methods of obtaining solar energy. The second part introduces a model house for which a suitable heating method is being sought. Heat losses and annual heat demand are calculated. After a short discussion of suitable alternatives, two suitable options are chosen, for which the approximate initial and operating costs, as well as payback periods, are calculated. The following is a comparison and evaluation, after which we will find out the most economically suitable heating method for the model house.
Heating of flat house
Slíva, Lukáš ; Vendlová, Lucie (referee) ; Topič, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is the design of heating systém and water heating for apartment house in township Jablůnka. In the theoretical part, I deal with the types of heating systems and radiators. In the computational part, I have designed the heat source, hot water heater, and the entire heating system. The conclusion of the thesis is a project, that contains a technical report and drawing documentation including attachments.
Heating of a multifunctional house
Paták, Martin ; Horká, Lucie (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The aim the bachelor´s thesis is to adrress the heating of a multifunctional building. The thesis consists of three parts: theoretical, computational, an design. In the theoretical part. The work focuses on large-scale heating ond cooling systems using ceiling panels. The computational part involves the design of heating and heat preparation for the multifunctional building, which includes a dental offices, a hair salon, classrooms, offices, and residential unit. An air/water heat pump in split configuration is proposed as the heat source. The building is heated using panel radiators and convectors, Hot water preparation is addressed through a priority non-electric storage tank. An electric heating insert assists in preheating the hot water. Thedesign part includes a technical report and drawings prepared based on the computational part.
Heating of a multifunctional house
Mrlina, Pavel ; Vendlová, Lucie (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The main content of the bachelor's thesis is the solution of heating for a multifunctional building. The thesis is divided into three parts: theoretical, computational, and design parts. The theoretical part focuses on heat substations. The computational part is dedicated to the design of heating and hot water preparation for the multifunctional building. The building houses a dental hygiene office, administrative spaces, a shop, staff lounges, and storage areas. The building is heated using panel radiators and bench convectors. The heat source is provided by a heat substation connected to a central hot water supply system. The heat substation is thermally independent and is equipped with plate heat exchangers for both the heating system and hot water heating. The design part includes drawings and a technical report. These documents are prepared based on the computational part.
Heating of the pension
Mrhálek, Jaroslav ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to solve the heating of the pension. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part, a calculation part and a design part. In the theoretical part the thesis focuses on pellet boilers. The calculation part contains the design of heating and hot water preparation. A pellet boiler is chosen as the source.
