Václavíková, Veronika ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
The theme of this Master´s thesis is to design and assess the load Bering steel structure of the hippodrome in Napajedla. The hippodrome is solved as a hall object in two alternatives. Both alternatives are elliptical in shape with dimensions of 40 and 80 m. Load bearing structure of the chosen alternative is formed by transversely oriented column binding with the axial spacing of 6,0 m. Transversely oriented binding is formed from spatial lattice truss supported by fixed solid columns. The spatial rigidity of the structure is ensured by fixing columns in the transverse direction and by using transverse braces in the longitudinal direction. The longitudinal braces help to ensure the spatial rigidity. The work consists of the design and assessment of the main load bearing components, the solution of chosen details of joints and columns´ anchoring, solution of construction component and the elaboration of statement of material and drawings´ documentation.

Floriánová, Jitka ; Klimek, Karel (referee) ; Myslín, Jiří (advisor) ; Skála, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this project was to design a new hippocentre in the locality of Lipůvka – Jihomoravský kraj. The building site is situated in a sloping terrain, on a meadow out of the built-up area of the village. The principle of this draft lies in a division of various functions to the separated objects, connected by inner and outer ways. The object is functionally divided into five parts – hall of an inner riding-school (partially imbedded into the terrain), with added objects of keeper’s/owner’s housing, restaurant and a club room with a kitchen and other service rooms, and accomodation part for guests. Higher in the terrain we can find horse stables with integrated service rooms- such as feed storage, changing rooms for the users, and showers for the horses. One of the most important requirements of this project was also to create a functional complex though the significant cant in the elevation across the length of the given area. Thus, the stable buildings have inside two different floor levels to compensate it. The hall of a riding-school is lighted by skylights in its roof, which also provide indirect lighting to the rooms in the western part of the three added blocks. In this bachelor thesis, only the buildings for accomodation and dwelling of people are being further designed and documented.

The whole compound is divided into three buildings different by usage. Each building’s top view is semi-circular; these semi-circles are formed from segments. The first building is for the public and is structurally as well as operationally separated from the other two buildings. This contrast is emphasized by different facade materials. The entrance hall, restaurant with its facilities, horse riders’ clubroom, office, rehabilitation area, pension and the emergency flat of an administrator are situated here. The two-floor building with pension is bricked, with monolithic ceiling and plastering on the facade. The other two buildings serve as horse stables with auxiliary operation and a riding hall with stands. These two buildings are designed as two one-floor wooden structures.
