Stage IV Emission Standards for Tractor Engines
Vít, Jakub ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to explain the mechanism of injection of carbamide and its installation on a vehicle. The first part of this work deals with the reduction of pollutants in the exhaust gases and with the emissions standards which limit the level of pollutants in the exhaust gases. The second part consists of an overview of tractor brands available at Czech market and their classification based on the type of system they use on their new models to reduce the pollutants in the exhaust gases.

Activity of CoMo/MSA Catalysts in Benzothiophene Hydrodesulfurization, Cumene Cracking and Cyclohexene Isomerization
Gulková, Daniela ; Kaluža, Luděk ; Zdražil, Miroslav ; Vít, Zdeněk
It was found that MoO3 does not adsorb onto pure SiO2 despite its relatively high surface area (400 m2/g). In contrast, SA52, MSA30, and MSA19 with surface areas 430, 580 and 600 m2/g adsorbed about 14, 7 and 3 wt. % of MoO3, respectively. The content of Al2O3 in the SA based materials thus well correlated with the adsorption loadings of MoO3 achieved by the saturation experiments. Moreover, it was acquired that the highest dispersion and HDS activities were achieved over catalysts containing dealuminated MSA supports despite of relatively low loadings of Mo. After Co deposition, the weight normalized activities in BT HDS increased 2.2 and 4.3 times on effective MoS2 promotion by Co on more acidic supports. Furthermore, those catalysts keep the high acidities of the original supports, as it was determined by cyclohexene isomerization and cumene cracking, while industrial reference CoMo catalysts supported onto gamma-Al2O3 was found to exhibit low acidity.

Comparison of Prague Stock Exchange and Warsaw Stock Exchange
Svobodová, Jindra ; Kříž, Radim (advisor) ; Hásová, Jiřina (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to analyze and compare the main characteristics of Prague Stock Exchange and Warsaw Stock Exchange. At first the attention is paid to the concept of "stock exchange" in the legal system of both countries. A short summary of the history of both exchanges is followed by a description of the organizational structure and comparison of the basic conditions of exchange membership. The individual market segments are analyzed as well as conditions for admission of financial instruments to those segments. The thesis also outlines the essential characteristics of trading systems in Prague and in Warsaw together with a list of basic types of trades. The final comparative analysis is devoted to the type and volume of financial instruments traded on both exchanges and settlement of those trades.

Carbon nanotube properties provoked interest in many fields of application but there is still need to develop deposition techniques, which enable precise control of nanotubes positioning, alignment and properties. Chemical vapor deposition (CVD) methods and lately also plasma enhanced CVD (PECVD) are most promising to reach this goal. In the first part of the article we will briefly describe carbon nanotubes structure and properties and review the necessary conditions and possible control mechanisms used in PECVD deposition method. In the second part, examples of two deposition techniques, one working at a low pressure and one at an atmospheric pressure, will be described and reached results analyzed.

Assessment of the deactivation of oromoted ion exchanger catalyst for bisphenol A synthesis Assessment of the deactivation of oromoted ion exchanger catalyst for bisphenol A synthesis
Jeřábek, Karel ; Prokop, Zdeněk
In the first part of the report is described the evaluation of data on functioning of industrial reactor for synthesis of bisphenol A using a mathematical model based on detailed description of reaction kinetics. In the second part are reported laboratory experiments oriented towards elucidation of the cause of deactivation of promoted ion exchanger catalyst and verification of the possibility to slow-down the deactivation process by a filtration guard bed fitted in front of the catalytic reactor. These experiment shown that this solution according to the Czech.Pat.278 463 (1993) is efficient.
