Bakalářská práce se zabývá finančními deriváty a derivátovou aktivitou v České republice. Nejprve charakterizuje, co deriváty jsou, jaké rozlišujeme druhy a jakými způsoby se vykazují. Ve druhé části je z různých pohledů analyzována derivátová angažovanost na českém trhu, a to jak za pomoci dat České národní banky, Burzy cenných papírů Prahy nebo vybraných bank.

Wiki systems in education

Wiki is a software tool that allows users to collaborate to create new documents (Web pages). This content management system is thought to be one of the features of the Web 2.0 and is becoming very popular among internet communities or even firms and organizations. This thesis is focused on the question whether it is possible to use a wiki in the classroom and if so, how. It offers a theoretical point of view as well as it takes a dive in the issue of wiki systems concerning education.

This bachelor thesis evaluates the financial situation of KAROSA a.s., a bus producing company, in the period between 2003 -- 2006; this is done from the point of view of an external user of account sheets. The thesis contains a theoretical part containing definitions of indicators and techniques used in the analysis and an application part, in which presented methods are applied to this particular company.

The causes and consequences of the mortgage crisis in the USA

The main objects of this diploma thesis are basic trends in the mortgage market in the United States and their role in the current mortgage crisis. As a theoretical background in the first part of this work are mentioned asymetric information with the optimal consumer choice regarding mortgage product and the general theory of the securitization. Practical part continues from the description of the main characteristics of the mortgage to the whole mortgage market and the role of government agencies. Following analysis is concerning the significant tendencies in the past years, which dominates in the mortgage market in the USA. The focus is mainly aimed at the growth of alternative mortgage products in connection with strong home price apreciation. Then the position of mortgage brokers and their role in the subprime sector are discusssed. Subprime sector is analysed as well and then the securitization of mortgages as the main trend in the past years is investigated. The development of the current crisis is the object of the last chapter.

Comparison of Exchange Rate Regimes

V této bakalářské práci je řešena problematika měnového kurzu. V první části jsou charakterizovány hlavní režimy měnového kurzu a jejich klasifikace. Je zde také uvedeno, jaké výhody přináší režim fixního kurzu či jaké argumenty zaznívají ve prospěch flexibilních režimů. V další časti je analyzován vývoj mezinárodního měnového systému od počátku minulého století až do současnosti. V poslední části je představena alternativa k současnému světovému měnovému uspořádání, a to v podobě zavedení jednotné světové měny a možné způsoby její implementace. Závěrem je také zhodnocen vývoj režimů měnového kurzu uplatňovaných v jednotlivých zemích od roku 1990 do současnosti.

Celiakie a diabetes pohledem ekonomie

Práce se snaží poukázat na to, jaké náklady na dietní stravování musejí vynakládat bezlepkáři a diabetici a že vznikají i dodatečné náklady, které přímo s těmito nemocemi souvisí. Dále se snaží zjistit, jestli mají tito lidé právo získat nějaké příspěvky od státu, řešena je sociální i zdravotní sféra této oblasti. Výsledkem je porovnání stravovacích nákladů celiaků a diabetiků s náklady zdravých lidí.

Práce hodnotí systém kreditních karet a především správy pohledávek v jedné nejmenované bance. Jedná se o systém kvality služeb především při získávání kreditní karty a dalšího užívání.A to bezprostředně souvisí s kvalitou Správy pohledávek, která je nejen službou pro klienty, ale i pro banku. Hodnoceno je poskytování informací, které ovlivňují rozhodování o kartě a mohou zbůsobit nedostatky při hrazení splátek. Pokud nejsou splátky hrazeny, přichází na řadu správa pohledávek, která řeší důvody nehrazení, informuje klienty o jejich povinnost a především jim objasňuje špatně pochopené informace.

The competition in the area of money mediums

The object of interest of this work is application of the competition on the area of money. Money mediums competed with each other through various characteristics in the history which changed in the dependence on market circumstances, on concrete shapes of money or on interventions of executive. The aim of the work is to show individual forms and kinds of the competition among money and present them with some concrete historical examples. There were some periods of evolution of money where belonged precious comodities gold and silver which were transformed to other forms of coins. The other point was the emergence of money substitutes, particularly of banknotes and deposit certificates which began to differ with reserve cover. The economist von Hayek offers fiduciary banknotes which would be produced by privat banking against a goverment monopol of money where money compete with quite other ways. The final phase offers the situation of by goverment controlled money of today. The sight at the development of the competition among money mediums is realized by helping of the methodology of the austrian school.
