Práce se zaměřuje na problematiku civilních zbraní v České republice ve vztahu legislativy k tržním mechanismům. Zaměřuje se na šedou ekonomiku zbraní a poukazuje na nedokonalosti české legislativy. Dále práce ukazuje citlivost trhu se zbraněmi na legislativní změny ze strany EU a světového dění.
The weapons in citizens' homes of Volyne according to preserved inventory of weaponry from 1551

The bachelor thesis deals with weapons in homes of town Volyne according to preserved inventory of weaponry from 1551. The goal is to introduce the level of personal equipment of population in the Early Modern town and interprets it in the context of history of Prachensko. It presents a comparison of documented military equipment with developments of Central European warfare, which has undergone great development due to the significant social changes during the 16th century. The owners of weapons has become another subject of interest. The thesis, through structural approach, evaluates whether the quantity and quality of their equipment was related to their social and property status. It does not neglect possible motives that could lead to the need for citizen to get a gun. The findings are based on historical primary sources concerning evidence. The conclusion summarizes the findings and offers possible directions that would research on the topic might take in the future.
Evaluation of Investment Project

The thesis deals with a capital project in preparation of an existing manufacturing company. It evaluates profitability of the investment based on methods of investment efficiency assessment. The thesis utilizes an analysis of company’s financial health. Its goal is to assess the analysed company’s readiness for the planned investment. Individual methods are evaluated at the end of the paper, based on which further steps are recommended to the company.
Terrorism as Destabilisation Element of Internal Security of State

Topic of my thesis is Terrorism as a destabilizing element of national security. In my work I have drawn from domestic and foreign sources. The first part is devoted to the history, evolution of terrorism and terrorism used as a tool to promote ideas. Then I engaged in forms of terrorism, its methods and its impact on internal security matters. In the end, I made my own proposal for improving the situation in the fight against terrorism.
The economic and social costs of firearm regulation: Impacts of regulation of output, sale, export and import of firearms on state economy and citizens.

This thesis analyzes effect of firearm regulation on crime rate and selected macroeconomic indicators and compares the results with previous findings. The starting point is Gary Becker's economics of crime adapted to the topic of civilian gun ownership. It contains correlation analysis observing the interaction of legally held firearms and gun crime committed with those firearms. The result of the analysis is strong negative correlation between two variables. The second part of this thesis also contains crime statistics from selected OECD countries. The final part shows us the macroeconomic impact of regulation of civilian gun ownership. The result is that changes in gun policy will cause significant impact on employment, collected taxes, output and international trade.
Analysis of the development of the Czech Republic weapon and military material exports

This thesis is focused on the development in the area of weapons and military material export, with emphasis on explanation of weapon trade not only in the Czech Republic, but also from the global standpoint. The first part of the thesis analyses the theory of international weapon trade, its functions and positive contribution of weapon export to economics of the Czech Republic. Next part explains basic terms and definitions regarding the weapon and military material export. Furthermore, it describes the legal framework of weapon trade in the Czech Republic and the regulations imposed on this business, including legal obligations resulting from membership in EU. Third and fourth chapters analyse the development of weapons and military stock export, with emphasis on changes in weapon trade in the year 1989. The final part describes cooperation in the field of international weapon control and international export regulations.
Transportation of products of Česká zbrojovka a.s.

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of international transportation of products traded by Česká zbrojovka a.s., concentrating specifically on air and sea transportation. The main focus is on the transport of products destined for the automotive industry and on the transport of weapons and cartridges. The first theoretical part deals with air and sea transport, transport of dangerous goods and the International Commercial Terms (INCOTERMS). The second practical part examines separate transports of these products. In the end of this practical part are these concrete examined transports compared.
Medieval weapons (Archaeological findings military artifacts 13th-15th centuries from southern Bohemia)

This bachelor thesis introduces the current typologies of medieval weapons, and describes their basic development in the High and Late Middle Ages. Based on the studied set of militaria found in South Bohemia determines, whether it is possible to capture the evolution of medieval warfare on a regional scale.
Speed meassurement of the bullet in the physics practicum

The main subject of this bachelor{\crq}s thesis is the laboratory measurement of an airgun bullet velocity. Elementary ideas of ballistics are theoretically discussed and, afterwards, two elementary measurement methods are described in detail and experimentally verified. First method is based on a couple of rotating discs and the second one is based on the energy conservation law of a ballistic pendulum. In the thesis there are presented both the description and the results of these measurements.
Arms and military equipment trade regulations in the Czech Republic

The thesis deals with the arms and military equipment trade regulations in the Czech Republic and it pays particular attention to foreign trade regulations. There are strict state regulatory measures signifying restrictions of access to the market and approval of particular trade orders. The main goal of my work is analyzing the consequences of these regulatory measures from the point of view concerning costs and returns and from the side of their influence on arms market structure. The thesis also examines socially undesirable phenomena occurring in state regulations of arms market, especially bureaucratization and related expenses, corruption and black market. At the end of the thesis I come to the conclusion that from the economic point of view, the established state regulations are considerably inefficient, nevertheless necessary owing to specific qualities of regulated commodity.
