The history of the European monetary unions

This thesis depicts monetary integration of the European states from the second half of the nineteenth century to the period after the First World War, which was taking place against the background of the then metallic monetary systems. The aim is to provide a comprehensive view of the historical developement of integrating tendencies and to reveal the reasons of its successes and failures. The first part provides a brief theoretical introduction, the stress is putted especially on the theory of optimal currency areas. The remaining parts deal with monetary unions of the surveyed period. Firstly we look at the ways in which national and multinational monetary unions of the nineteenth century were realized. The spontaneous adoption of the gold standard by the majority of countries in the 1870s created world monetary union based on a system of fixed exchange rates. Tax aspects of business between associated enterprises -- stipulation of the method for distributive enterprise

This thesis "Tax aspects of business between associated enterprises -- stipulation of the method for distributive enterprise" considering associated enterprises and transfer pricing, as they are defined by documents of European Union, OECD and Czech Republic. It compares the definitions of associated enterprises and the arm's length principle according to OECD and the law of Czech Republic. It gives the list of methods transfer pricing which are used when making the prices for transactions between associated enterprises. These methods are divided into traditional and profitable - it depends on the kind of transaction. In the last part of this thesis on the basis of the analysis of these documents I recommend the optimal method for transfer pricing for a concrete enterprise.

Italian Proverbs

in English This thesis analyzes the sample of proverbs often use in contemporary Italian language obtained via the survey. The initial theoretical part deals with the definition and characteristics of proverbs in the context of various geographical areas. Subsequently, the proverbs are discussed from the formal, particularly morphosyntactic point of view and their logical structure, and semantic part is covered in a communicational context. Selected rhetorical figures typical for proverbs are listed, and the theoretical part is concluded with a characteristic of variability. The following practical part contains a formal analysis of the sample alongside the introduction to the survey used. Usage of the language corpuses CORIS and Araneum Italicum is described, followed by determination of proverb frequency in these corpuses and the results of the formal analysis are followed by an examination of the sample based on intralingual variability. The practical part is concluded by a list of Czech equivalents to the sample proverbs. Modern National Novel in Central Europe

in English The papers contain a finding of the national literature in between novels in the Central Europe at the age of modernism in 20s and 30s o 20th century. The idea definition of national novel in the literatures of Central Europe is difficult and complicated process. This papers work with literal texts as a part of national literature with polish novel Przedwiośnie by Stefan Zeromsky, hungarian novel Édes Anna by Deszo Kosztolanyi, slovakian novel Cesta životom by Ladislav Nádasi-Jégé, czech novel Osudy dobrého vojáka Švejka by Jaroslav Hašek and austrian novel Mann ohne Eingeschafen by Robert Musil. The finding is divided into two parts - first is finding of national novel - second is about national character. Both situations are actualized with new terms - novel of the nation and character of the nation. Both literary terms correspond to objects that are not directly denouncing the life of the nation, but produces its main ideas and identification. The slovakian and the hungarian novel focus on the struggle of individual characters with society and their new status. In the contrary to the austrian and the czech novel reveal the principle of applying national characteristics in literary philosophical swirl. Psychosocial Issues of Prostitution

Presented master' s thesis "Psychosocial problems of the prostitution" inquires into specific aspects of this socialy pathological phenomenon. Whole study includes theoretical and practical part. Opening chapters of the theoretical part present the definition of prostitution and the summary of its specifics, moreover they concern the theory of causes of prostitution and its transformation during the history. Following chapters present different forms of prostitution, including the characteristic of some of them, and above all they talk about the psychological and social aspects of causes, which bring a woman to practise the prostitution, about the selfperception of women-prostitute and about her relationship with her partner or family. The work covers also some negative social factors of prostitution such as the spread of venereal deseases or the connection with the organised crime. In addition in includes the possibilities of the government to solve the problem of prostitution and it summarizes the evolution of juridical situation in Czech Republic during the 20th century. "Moravian" hidden Church

The aim of the text is a description of the causes of creation, functioning and especially activities, of "Moravian" hidden Church. For these purposes 16 interviews were collected using oral history method. These interviews were analyzed through Grounded theory method. As the basic factors affecting the activity of "Moravian" hidden Church the analysis indicated: the degree of openness of activities and measure of their own individual initiative. The thesis consists of five chapters. The introduction presents state of research, described the sources from which it was drawn, it also presented the methodology and definitions based on the methodology. The second chapter introducesthe basic terms fundamental for conceptual point of view. The third chapter describes the context changes and trends within the Catholic Church in the twentieth century, chronologically, of course, it also describes the situation of the Catholic Church in communist Czechoslovakia. The fourth chapter in the first part deals with hidden Church phenomenon in Czech landsand then brings the history, specifics and characteristics of "Moravian" branches, including the integration process. Analysis and evaluation of impacts on the independence due to the districts of Prague into separate villages.

The aim of this work is to analyze and evaluate the impacts on the economy in the eventual independence of a size different boroughs of the City of Prague into separate villages in the years 2001-2015. This topic is very timely considering the frequent discussions on financing municipal districts of Prague. Prague is also the economic center of the Czech Republic. Topicality is enhanced by the fact that the model of subsidy relations between Prague and its city districts often changes. In the theoretical part are listed and explained basic terms and definitions relating to the issue. This section deals mainly with the economic theories of the budgetary determining taxes, financing municipalities and boroughs in Prague. They did not omit the legislative requirements of the functioning of municipalities and boroughs of Prague. In the practical part is evaluated development funds that flowed into the budgets of different sized urban areas and that the budgets of such units in a given period of time passed, if those units were part of the capital Prague. Part of this work is part of a proposal for legislative changes that would empower any Prague districts only allow a referendum. Finally, the comparison of the current state and the independence of the aforementioned boroughs of the capital, and in terms of income of the urban areas and in terms of financing certain obligations boroughs based on current legislation.

Financing of small and medium-sized enterprises

The goal of the diploma thesis "Financing of small and medium-sized enterprises" is to systematically analyze and review the financing options for SMEs in the Czech Republic. In the introductory part there is a definition of small and medium enterprises with its social contribution and meaning, I describe the needs and potential barriers for further development. The thesis proceeds with specification of various financial resources, there are mentioned own, external and alternative financial resources as well as trade finance possibilities. The last chapter of the theoretical part focuses on the support devoted to SME. In the practical part there is a business and financial analysis of the selected company on the market with artificial sweeteners.

Problem of the undernourishment and the food water resources

The main focus of the final thesis are the problems related to the problem of undernourishment in affected regions of the world, sea fishing and aquaculture. In the beginning, the definition of the food problem in the world is introduced. The potential contribution of proteins from the sea production to human dietary is emphasized. Further, the exponential population growth is mentioned, influencing the future development and the food problem itself. The second part of thesis is dedicated to fisheries and aquaculture. The importance and benefits of sea water resources as well as aquaculture is mentioned from the nutritional and livelihood point of view. Sea management and international regulations are playing crucial role in the sustainability of the fisheries stocks. These are needed to eliminate the problems of fisheries and aquaculture and the degradation of sea ecosystems due to unsuitable fishing techniques. At the end of the thesis a summary of all important information is listed. Followed by possible solutions of these global problems.

Data quality in the business information database environment

This master thesis is concerned with the choice of suitable data quality dimensions for a particular database of economy information and proposes and implements metrics for its assessment. The aim of this paper is to define the term data quality in the context of economy information database and possible ways to measure it. Based on dimensions suitable to observe, a list of metrics was created and subsequently implemented in SQL query language, alternatively in a procedural extension Transact SQL. These metrics were also tested with the use of real data and the results were provided with a commentary. The main asset of this work is its complex processing of the data quality topic, from theoretical term definition to particular implementation of individual metrics. Finally, this study offers a variety of both theoretical and practical directions fort this issue to be further researched.
