Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou podvýživy v zasažených regionech světa, mořským rybolovem a akvakulturou. V úvodní části je definován potravinový problém světa a potenciální přínos mořských zdrojů pro zajištění přísunu důležitých bílkovin pro lidský organismus. Je popsána populační exploze, která ovlivnila budoucí vývoj a aktuální situaci nedostatku potravin v zasažených regionech světa. Druhá část diplomové práce se věnuje rybolovu a akvakultuře. Je zde vyzdvižen přínos světového rybolovu a akvakultury nejen z již zmiňovaného hlediska výživových hodnot pro člověka, ale i z hlediska tvorby pracovních míst. Dále je v této části nastíněna důležitost pevně stanovených mezinárodních právních opatření a regulací. V návaznosti na předchozí téma jsou uvedeny problémy trvalé udržitelnosti rybolovu a degradace světových mořských ekosystémů vzhledem k nevhodným rybářským praktikám. Závěr diplomové práce poskytuje shrnutí zjištěných informací včetně možných způsobů řešení těchto závažných globálních problémů. The main focus of the final thesis are the problems related to the problem of undernourishment in affected regions of the world, sea fishing and aquaculture. In the beginning, the definition of the food problem in the world is introduced. The potential contribution of proteins from the sea production to human dietary is emphasized. Further, the exponential population growth is mentioned, influencing the future development and the food problem itself. The second part of thesis is dedicated to fisheries and aquaculture. The importance and benefits of sea water resources as well as aquaculture is mentioned from the nutritional and livelihood point of view. Sea management and international regulations are playing crucial role in the sustainability of the fisheries stocks. These are needed to eliminate the problems of fisheries and aquaculture and the degradation of sea ecosystems due to unsuitable fishing techniques. At the end of the thesis a summary of all important information is listed. Followed by possible solutions of these global problems.
