Financial Market Guarantee System
Ročeň, Tomáš ; Teplý, Petr (advisor) ; Hejdová, Martina (referee)
This bachelor thesis follows up the Financial Market Guarantee System in Czech republic and aims to describe its establishment based on the regulation of the European Union, its competence and relevance in Czech republic. The Thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part describes the development of the Deposit Insurance Fund, new legislation of the European Union and Czech law, which is based on European Union legislation. Practical part mostly examines newly established Resolution fund. On the sample of three different sized banks is shown the impact on the profit as a consequence of the contribution to the Resolution fund. The second part also focuses on ability of the system to help banks in financial problems, which was proven as very limited. Practical part in addition provides estimate of the annual contribution to the Resolution fund, which turned out to be quite accurate.

Optimization of Signalling Traffic in IMS Subsystem of NGN Networks
Nagy, Ľuboš ; Orgoň, Miloš (referee) ; Bezpalec, Pavel (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
One of causes of increased latency service over the whole IMS network can be unbalanced SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) signalling traffic through CSCF (Call Session Control Function). This thesis is devoted to the proposal of weight-based load balancing algorithm which can be used for the S-CSCF assignment performed by I-CSCF during the initial registration procedure of subscribers over the IMS architecture. The designed mechanism is implemented and evaluated in the mathematical model of IMS subsystem based on single servers with FIFO queues with the unlimited capacity in the numerical computing environment - Matlab. Two test-cases with different performance conditions of available S-CSCFs are described. The influence of measured latency affected by performance of other nodes (e.g. P-CSCF, I-CSCF, HSS, etc.) is minimized. Each of simulated test-cases is measured with various service times of SCSCFs and inter-arrival times. The obtained results of designed algorithm are compared with well-known selection algorithm – the round-robin algorithm. It is shown that new selection mechanism improved the service latency of whole IMS network. The possible weakness of the designed weight-based algorithm is sensitivity to traffic model over the modelled IMS architecture.

On the boundary conditions in the numerical simulation of stably stratified fluids flows
Bodnár, Tomáš ; Fraunié, P.
This paper presents the results of a numerical study of the stably stratified flow over a low smooth hill. The emphasize is on certain problems related to artificial boundary conditions used in the numerical simulations. The numerical results of three-dimensional simulations are shown for a range of Froude and Reynolds numbers in order to demonstrate the varying importance of these boundary issues in different flow regimes. The simulations were performed using the Boussinesq approximation model solved by a high-resolution numerical code. The in-house developed code is based on compact finite-difference discretization in space and Strong Stability Preserving Runge-Kutta time integration.

The usage of Salome Meca workbench for task solution in the field of solid mechanics
Anděl, Tomáš ; Návrat, Tomáš (referee) ; Vosynek, Petr (advisor)
Presented bachelor’s thesis focuses on solving basics tasks in the field of solid me-chanics by the finite-element open-source software Salome Meca. The theoretical background of finite element method (FEM), general explanation of basic expressions and brief summary of today’s used open-source and commercial software too is intro-duced in the opening part of the thesis. The brief overview of Salome Meca compu-ting environment and then file of individual tasks solved by using this software are followed. Acquired results are later compared with the other numerical software (ANSYS Workbench) or with analytical solutions.

Mathematical model of solar drying of sewage sludge

THE ARCHEOLOGICAL MUSEUM - REBUILDING OF ST.HYPPOLITS AREAL IN ZNOJMO
Thiemel, Jiří ; Plášil, Jiří (referee) ; Boháč, Ivo (advisor)
The main goal of this project is to find new use of former monastic grange for archaeological base and exhibition combined with multipurpose building containing gallery space, workshop room, accommodation and restaurant. The courtyard should become new public space (during opening hours). Znojmo-Hradiště (also known as Hradiště sv. Hypolita) is an important archaeological site with numerous finds from the period of the Great Moravia. The monastery and the grange are situated in the centre of former fortress. The complex of the monastery and all its buildings with few exceptions are cultural monument.

Corporate Bankruptcy Prediction Using Bayesian Classifiers
Hátle, Lukáš ; Witzany, Jiří (advisor) ; Málek, Jiří (referee)
The aim of this study is to evaluate feasibility of using Bayes classifiers for predicting corporate bankruptcies. The results obtain show that Bayes classifiers do reach comparable results to then more commonly used methods such the logistic regression and the decision trees. The comparison has been carried out based on Czech and Polish data sets. The overall accuracy rate of these so called naive Bayes classifiers, using entropic discretization along with the hybrid pre-selection of the explanatory attributes, reaches 77.19 % for the Czech dataset and 79.76 % for the Polish set respectively. The AUC values for these data sets are 0.81 and 0.87. The results obtained for the Polish data set have been compared to the already published articles by Tsai (2009) and Wang et al. (2014) who applied different classification algorithms. The method proposed in my study, when compared to the above earlier works, comes out as quite successful. The thesis also includes comparing various approaches as regards the discretisation of numerical attributes and selecting the relevant explanatory attributes. These are the key issues for increasing performance of the naive Bayes classifiers

Importance of the Visegrad Group for member states
Stanová, Zuzana ; Druláková, Radka (advisor) ; Cibulková, Petra (referee)
Nowadays, there are numerous regional and universal international organizations. The objective of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the importance of one of them, the Visegrad Group. The importance of the Visegrad Group is observed in term of fulfilling the functions of international organizations. This thesis introduces in the first (theoretical) part different typologies of functions of international organizations, other (analytical) parts of the thesis tie in with the theoretical one and provide short overview of some examples of (not) fulfilling the six observed functions. The Visegrad Group doesn't fulfil adequately all the observed functions, therefore it is also considered to be an international regime. Moreover, some of the functions are fulfilled by other international organizations, which the Visegrad Group member states are the members of. This fact waters down the importance of the Visegrad Group.

Solving vehicle routing problems and algorithm implementation on GPU
Hájek, Jan ; Fábry, Jan (advisor) ; Černý, Michal (referee)
A very wide-ranging subgroup of vehicle routing problems from the graph theory is a common and frequent problem handled daily by transport companies, airline businesses, hi-tech companies with planning drilling of printed circuits boards or other companies from different industries. During numerous previous researches of these problems a lot of analyses were made and many solutions proposed -- of which an outline is in this paper. Some of them giving better or worse results in longer or shorter computing time. In spite of the fact that the processors and new technologies performance is increasing, with some algorithms we cannon compute the result in a reasonable time. That is why this paper is asking a question, if there can be found a fitting algorithm which could be applied on different and faster processing unit structures so it could be ensured a multiple computing speed increase so far. The analysis was carried out using computer experiments on a new build and implemented branch and bound algorithm with a matrix rate reduction.

Situation of people with reduced self-sufficiency in the region of Mladovožicko
NOVOTNÁ, Eva
The cause of reduction of self-sufficiency, which we understand as a functional autonomy, may be a disability, chronic illness, but also a mere loss of physical and mental powers at old age. Elderly people are therefore the most numerous group of people with reduced self-sufficiency. Individuals with reduced self-sufficiency become dependent on assistance from other people, when they should be able to choose whether they will use informal sources of help or whether they will contact professional social service providers, when a combination of both methods is most appropriate especially for seniors. Municipalities as social services authorities should therefore ensure availability of social services for their citizens. The aim of the practical part was to determine the need for provision of field social services in the territory of Mladovožicko from the perspective of people with reduced self-sufficiency and from the perspective of representatives of municipalities. I have chosen quantitative research, method of interviewing. Using the questionnaire technique I learnt in a first research sample, that consisted of persons aged 65 years or over and selected younger people with disabilities who live in 3 chosen municipalities, that they currently regard help from family members and other informal sources to be sufficient, which confirms hypothesis H1. Therefore they currently do not need social services. Hypothesis H2 - Women feel in terms of the parameters studied more self-sufficient than men, was disproved by the research. However, hypothesis H3 was confirmed {--} only people in early old age retain full self-sufficiency. For the second research sample, composed of mayors of municipalities of type I in the selected territory, in which no social services have operated so far, I used the technique of semi-structured interview. I learnt that community planning of social services is currently not important and essential for them. But I believe that the research itself has aroused interest of the respondents in this issue and the whole thesis may become one of supplementary documents for further discussions of municipality representatives on possible establishment of social services for their citizens.
