The theme of this bachelor thesis is Ethics in Business and it discusses the importance of compliance with the ethics principles. The aim of this thesis is to observe the use of ethics principles of one of the biggest insurance companies in the Czech Republic - Česká Pojišťovna a.s.The main source was a questionnaire distributed to the employees of the insurance company. I was looking to find out what is the awareness of the ethical code, if employees abide to it, if they encountered any transgressions and what is the penalty for doing so.
Ethical aspects of business

This thesis covers the topic of the ethical aspects of business. The paper defines what an ethics and a business ethics are and it describes selected tools of business ethics. The practical part focuses on building company called Skanska and on its view of business ethics. This part consists of an interview with managing director of Skanska SK a.s. and of a questionnaire survey. The main goal of this thesis is to analyze the level of the business ethics in this building company. The main research question is: "How important part do the ethical aspects represent in the company Skanska?"
Perceptions of social workers about everyday ethics of their profession

Research of this bachelor thesis is focused on ideas of social workers about everyday ethics of their profession, because modern social work is based on human perception and correct approach to it. Main objective of this work was to determine what is their idea of social ethics of the profession, the Code of Ethics and its use in everyday practice. The research question for all social workers was: What is your vision about the ethics of social work and its use in practice? In the theoretical part of this work I was gathering informations and knowledge from already processed publications that deal with the topic of ethics, code of ethics, a holistic approach and fundamental human rights, in conjunction with social work. The research part took place in the form of qualitative research method of questioning when I was using the technique of in-depth interview with invidual social workers.The sample was made up of 10 social workers who were chosen in a random manner, then introduced to the theme of my work, and also they were assured about preserving of anonymity and their own personal data.The selection was based on the principle of voluntariness and willingness to active participation in research studies. Respondents come from different types of organizations. In the research part I was working with the material that I have received from individual social workers during the data collection.I have categorized this material by topic areas, which have a similar content. In the discussion I am comparing statements of my subjects with the authors' opinions, which I have gather on the theoretical part.Specifically, in what their opinions agree upon and how they differ. The conclusion is devoted to overall summary of the contributions from the respondents and I am suggesting possible solutions to the problems in practice.
Ethical aspects of substitute care in the context of legislation changes in the Czech Republic.

My work analyses the legislation changes in the area of social and legal protection of children in the Czech Republic that have been introduced over the last two years. This work focuses on impacts of these changes in the practice of transferring children to substitute care as well as ethical aspects directly connected with this process. Laws impacting the social and legal protection of children are being compared in order to understand the legal rights of children. The consequences of the legislative changes have a direct effect on the processes of handing children to substitute care. The work is not only concerned with the practical impacts, but also with the ethical side of the problem which was identified as the most important in my thesis. Case reports from my own practice provide a complementary evidence to the reader to better understand the process of placement of children into substitute care both at professional and ethical levels.
Ethics of the workers in kindergartens

Ethical aspects of leading persons with autism spectrum disorders

The thesis addresses ethical aspects of upbringing and educating persons with autism spectrum disorders, focusing particularly on integrating them in a normal school. In the theoretical part the terms related to ASD issues are defined and specific behavior and expressions of children with autism and Asperger?s syndrome are described. This thesis is dedicated particularly to these individuals and to their integration to a normal school. Therefore this part of the thesis deals with the field of education and upbringing of these persons and it describes the educational principles, methods and strategies that are being used in this field. The thesis concentrates on ethical aspects of leading persons with autism spectrum disorder and therefore the theoretical part deals also with ethical aspects of education and upbringing and defines terms related to ethics. There are two case studies in the practical part of the thesis that show the problems and ethical dilemmas related to integrating pupils with ASD into a regular high school from the point of view of a teaching assistant. The thesis emphasizes the need for ethical education and ethical code in the education system that would guarantee that persons with ASD are led not only professionally, but also ethically.
Ethical questions in the work of a social curator

This thesis deals with a social curator, a specialized social worker profession. The first part describes attributes of humanity and ethical cathegories, which were chosen acording to the aim of this thesis and which were emhasized as important pillars in the work of a social curator. The next part of the thesis contains description of a target group with which the social curator works and it also describes the mainly occuring types of clients. In the third part of the thesis there is a list and evaluation of all the pillars that the social curator needs with the emphasis put on their meaning for their job. As a main source the author uses a czech legislation, which names a target group of the social curator as well as she uses an ethical code, which is not legaly binding, but it is a outline for a good quality work of all of social workers. It is important to always také into account the maturity and morally formed personaly of the social curator and also their knowledge of ethics and ethical cathegories and their practical use.

Ethical codes in parliaments in presidential, semi-presidential and parliamentary system - case of USA, France and Great Britain

Regulation of ethical regimes in parliaments seems to be a current issue in many (not only) western democratic countries. This thesis discusses comparison of ethical codes in parliaments of Great Britain, France and United States of America. Chosen countries have been selected regarding the fact that each country has different political system: parliamentarism in UK, semi-presidencialism in France and presidencialism in USA. The main aim of this work is to find out whether the difference of political systems could affect the scope and content of ethical codes. In order to achieve this task, the author uses the method of analysis and subsequent comparison of individual ethical codes. The thesis is structured into four parts. First part deals partly with theories of representation and mandate and also with particular political systems in selected countries. In second part the author describes codes of ethics in general and also benefits for citizens and legislators connected with adoption of ethical code. Third part analyzes codes of ethics adopted by particular chambers of selected parliaments. Respective comparison of ethical codes and regulations of ethic regimes is contained in the final part.

The bachelor thesis deals with morals and ethics of accountants, it defines relationship between morality and law, analyzes the ethical code of professional accountants and its individual parts. It deals with the its goals, ethical principles and clarifies importance of the ethical code. The work defines some forms of internal frauds and it demonstrate selected forms of internal frauds on practical examples. The text deals with confidentiality of accountants. It explains the application of noncompete agreements and discusses the problem of the morality of their use.
