Koleček, Tomáš ; Streit, Jakub (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementation of laboratory microcontroller system, based on ARM architecture. Purpose of this thesis is to teach programming. This system allows the user to work with the internal and external peripherals of the microcontroller, which are equipped with the system. This thesis includes creating a concept its peripheral solution and realization itself. A suitable development environment is determined for the system and the thesis includes sample solutions for the proposed tasks.
High speed acquisition system
Svoboda, Tomáš ; Kováč, Michal (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
This master's thesis is focused on the design of a highspeed aquizition system which is based on FPGA and a highspeed AD converter with modern JESD204B interface. Considering the requirements, such as high samplig rate, the current range of available devices is limited. Therefore the market overview of the modern IC and modules was made. The resulting design is based on available modules, so the rached sampling rate is up to 5 GSa/s with 12bits resolution. Data from measurement are send to PC via Ethernet which uses lwIp stack and TEMAC core on Microblaze proccessor.
Data logger
Dráb, Dominik ; Pazdera, Ivo (referee) ; Ctibor, Jiří (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with design of universal data logging device. The work proposes the design of device architecture and describes individual systems and components, that are necessary for data logging. Logger is designed as a mobile device, with ARM microcontroller at its core. Thesis specifies requirements for device in terms of performance and versatility. The device uses modular construction, as it comprises multiple PCBs. The thesis describes their design and also design of the mechanical construction of data logger. Designed device has been realized and assembled. Software design for microcontroller is also part of the thesis. In the last part, measurements to determine achieved parameters of the device are conducted.
Algorithms for electrical motor control
Lyko, Antonín ; Kozovský, Matúš (referee) ; Blaha, Petr (advisor)
This paper presents the structure and basic elements of the Autosar software architecture. In addition, the configuration code generation options are presented for both MC-ISAR drivers and AURIX TriCore TC277 hardware modules using EB tresos Studio. For the purpose of possible integration of the electric motor control algorithms, configurations of the GTM and VADC hardware modules have been created and described to enable the generation of PWM signals along with synchronously triggered parallel analogue-to-digital conversions. For this purpose, an application interface including the PWM driver was also developed and described.
Light Weight Mesh Experiments
Nováček, Richard ; Botta, Miroslav (referee) ; Šimek, Milan (advisor)
Semestral thesis deals new technology Lightweight Mesh and its implementation on a laboratory task to the subject of wireless sensor networks and the creation of appropriate documentation, which will serve as a basis to students. Also included is the use of serial communication, timer and ADC in Atmel Studio.
Digitally controlled power supply
Stupka, Dominik ; Drexler, Petr (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
This document describes design of the laboratory power supply with digital control. Power control consists from a control section which handles communication between the modules and the power section.Into the power section is integrated switching and linear regulator. The designed power supply contains two such modules. To control are used microcontrollers from Atmel. Source parameters are 2 x 30 V / 0 – 3 A. During the construction we have to emphasis on the accuracy of regulation the output values and the modularity of the solution.
Audio ADC and DAC for laboratory measurements
Raszka, Dan ; Frýza, Tomáš (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
This paper describes the design of a laboratory equipment to demonstrate the influence of the sampling frequency and quantization errors on converter. Part of this work is to select appropriate ADC and DAC along with control microprocessor. The proposal contains other functional blocks such as analog input and output filters, LCD display and controls. It deals also with the design of software solutions to control and signal processing.
Laboratory Pulse Power Supply Controlled by Microcontroller
Chytil, Jiří ; Kubíček, Michal (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This project deals with design of switching laboratory supply controled by PIC microcontroler. It consist of three modules: control unit and couple of power modules. Each of the modul is controled by PIC18 microcontroler. Device should work autonomicaly or it can be connected with PC via USB. Output paremeters 0-20 V, 0-1 A. The device has been designed with regard to minimal power consumption.
Field Programmable Gate Arrays Usage in Industrial Automation Systems
Signal and data logger
Borsányi, Tamás ; Vyskočil, Pavel (referee) ; Kolouch, Jaromír (advisor)
The goal of this project is to design a signal and data logger, which captures analog and digital signals with very long record time. The device supports multichannel complex triggering, a real-time oscilloscope-like mode and an offline mode for analyzing of previously sampled data. This project contains detailed analysis of the topic, description of hardware and software solutions and used methods. The thesis also contains verification tests and measurements. This device will be mainly used for hardware debugging of microprocessor based applications.
