Analytical evaluation of drugs using chromatographic methods VI.
Boudová, Kristýna ; Mokrý, Milan (advisor) ; Kastner, Petr (referee)
Analytical evaluation of drugs using chromatographic methods VI. Diploma thesis Kristýna Boudová Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Department of pharmaceutical chemistry and drug analysis. There was worked out the method for simultanious determination of vitamins B1 (thiamine), B3 (nicotinamide), B6 (pyridoxine) a vitamin C (ascorbic acid) using high performance liquid chromatoghaphy in multivitamin tablets in this work. This method was used for determination of these vitamins in effervescent multivitamine substance used as food supplement. Acquired results were compared with value declared by the producer. Best results were reached by using chromatographic column Lichrosphere 100 RP C18, 250 mm x 4 mm I.D. (5 µm) Merck, Germany with mobile phase methanol : water (pH adjusted to 2,8 by acetic acid 10%) 0,005 mol/l sodium hexanesulfonic acid + 0,1% triethylamine) in proportion 20:80 (v/v). There was used spectrofotometric detector with wavelenght 270 nm for detection. Flow rate was 1 ml/min, time of analysis didn't exceed 13 minutes. Substances were eluated in order: ascorbic acid, nicotinamide, pyridoxine and thiamine. The method will be validated.

Water supply without a residual disinfectant
Rajnochová, Markéta ; Pikal, Martin (referee) ; Ručka, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis focuses on the water distribution system functioning without chlorine-based disinfectant. This thesis contains research of documented cases of examples of drinking water distribution systems both abroad and in the Czech Republic, which do not use disinfectants. Moreover, the thesis pay attention to chlorine and its effects on bacteria. The thesis deals with the first assessment of water supply structure, which determines whether the water supply structure is suitable for operating without disinfectant. The thesis describes the process of transition to the disinfectant-free operation and determines the undesired events, which may occur with the ending of the use of disinfectant. As a part of the research, the thesis examines the water supply system in village Kateřinice, to determine if it is suitable for operation without disinfectant.

The aqueduct under the highway through of the microtunnel
Hoza, Martin ; Kunc, Jaroslav (referee) ; Horák, Vladislav (advisor)
During the construction of water pipeline Strelice is necessary to overcome the D1 motorway. This thesis deals with design of the motorway crossing using trenchless technologies. Combination of pipejacking and shield tunneling is chosen. Static calculation includes determination of the jacking force, proposal of the thrust block and assessment of the reinforced concrete jacking pipes.

Determination of floodplain in Kyjovka river at km 71 to km 74
Kašpar, Tomáš ; Roušar,, Ladislav (referee) ; Zachoval, Zbyněk (advisor)
The diploma thesis discusses the current status of watercourse Kyjovka and a proposal for appropriate protection measures of the territory. The selected section starts at river-km 71,338 and ends at river-km 74,443. The selected part of the watercourse runs through the town of Koryčany. This thesis examines the selected section of Kyjovka split into two subsections. That allows for detailed presentation of several proposed appropriate measures to be applied at critical spots in the selected subsections. The calculation of the watercourse model and its capacity with the water level progresses for selected N(y.o.) flow rates were processed in HEC-RAS5.0.1. program. Proposed flood protection measures are incorporated in the drawings.

Sanitation installation in residential building
Mauerová, Martina ; Bárta, Ladislav (referee) ; Vrána, Jakub (advisor)
This Diploma thesis deals with design sanitation installation in a residential building in Prague. The theoretical part is aimed at determining the calculation of flow in the sup-ply duct according to standards. The work also focuses on the alternative solutions of the given specialization. The computational part and project includes a proposal sani-tary and storm sewer, water supply system and their connection to the current pipes. It is a residential building with four overground floors and with two underground floors.

Immobilization of heavy metals in the cement matrix with the admixture of natural zeolite
Semerádová, Nikol ; Bayer, Patrik (referee) ; Vyšvařil, Martin (advisor)
Heavy metals released to the natural ecosystem constitute significant risks not only for organisms, but also for water supplies in the nature. There are a number of analytical methods for the determination of heavy metals. Each of them is suitable for different element and its character. Since the results of the analysis are applied during the solidification and stabilization, it is necessary to ensure the highest correlation between hazardous waste and solidification medium for maximum inhibition of toxic ions. This work investigates the stabilization of heavy metals binders based on cement base with admixture of the natural zeolite and its possible use for the solidification of heavy metals in soluble form.

The study of selected sewer network in an urbanized catchment
Korytář, Ivo ; Habr,, Vladimír (referee) ; Raclavský, Jaroslav (advisor)
This paper deals the case study of the chosen sewer system in the village Starý Mateřov. The study solves passportization of sewer, what is the base for creating technical condition mainly for three selected sections. According to the results from the technical conditions of the three selected sections were suggested suitable options of redevelopment. The options are compared in financial way. The last chapter suggests two possibilities how to deal with the sewage. The first option consists of the transferring waste water to the waste water treatment plant in Pardubice - Semtín. The second option suggests building a new waste water treatment plant in Starý Mateřov. The options are compared in financial way.

Sediment deposition in reservoir of Nové Heřminovy dam
Kammermayer, Jan ; Šedivý, Jiří (referee) ; Zachoval, Zbyněk (advisor)
The thesis deals with silting of water reservoir Nové Heřminovy. There's describe design of artificial traffic and evaluate its effectiveness. To determine the flow of sediment into the reservoir with use a partially calibrated one-dimensional numerical model of sediment transport with deformation of bed is made in software HEC-RAS. Silting reservoirs is assessment with two methods, the results are compared and describes their limitations. Reservoirs silting evaluates through volume changes in reservoir storage in time.

Savings of drinking water in the flats of the type TO6B
Tomáš, Rostislav ; Synáčková, Marcela (advisor) ; Renata, Renata (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with saving drinking water supplied in the operation panel house type T06B . Saving solutions drinking water is proposed the use of gray waste water where their collection and subsequent purification will lead to further use. Treated gray wastewater is subsequently used primarily to flush fixtures. For different height levels of the type of building are designed with individual technological units . The proposal includes an assessment of saving drinking water , determination of operating costs and expenses for the purchase of technological equipment .

Optimal digital terrain model for erosion analysis
Středová, Kamila ; Brychta, Jiří (advisor) ; Rejha, Vít (referee)
The thesis deals with the question of using available sources of elevation data for the evaluation of topographic factor in estimating the amount of water erosion in the area. Work compares the results with consideration to the origin of the data, the accuracy and resolution of the digital terrain model, which is interpolated from the source data. The calculation of topographic factor in ArcGIS will be confronted with the results of the Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE). The frequency of compliance will tell us which data source and digital terrain model resolution is the most suitable for determining the topographic factor.
