Endocrine regulation of oxidative stress in the red firebug \kur{Pyrrhocoris apterus}
VEČEŘA, Josef
A potential antioxidant effect of two insect hormones, Pyrap-AKH and 20- hydroxyecdysone, in the red firebug Pyrrhocoris apterus under conditions of oxidative stress was examined. Oxidative stress was induced by injection of herbicide Paraquat into the insect body. To verify that oxidative stress was developed sufficiently in the insects, thiobarbituric acid reactive substances, mainly malondialdehyde (TBARS) and protein carbonyls as principal biomarkers of oxidative stress were analyzed in CNS and hemolymph. A positive antioxidant effect of the two hormones was demonstrated by measuring content of GSH in brain and hemolymph, activity of {$\gamma$}-GTP in brain, and the total antioxidant activity in hemolymph.

The reference period are the years 2006 to 2014, which include the recent economic crisis. In the theoretical part, sports club are defined as a firm in accordance with behavioral theory which was selected as the most suitable. Analyzed are the specifics of functioning of sports clubs, such as the method of determining the club's goals. These are among sports clubs, unlike conventional businesses, based on the principle of utility maximization. Furthermore, sporting markets are described, and considered a sports cartel. As the part of the thesis, the substantial positive effects of analyzed Premier League on the British society is described. These include big tax revenues for the government of United Kingdom. In the 2013, those tax revenues reached 1.3 billion pounds. The practical part of the thesis characterizes Premier League, and subsequently also the selected football clubs, and especially their economic development in the reference period. Theoretical part of the thesis is based on world literature and the experience of coordinator of self-help group for eating disorder ill person's relatives and carers. It is also based on analysis of qualitative data acquired from questionnaires with open type of questions. The questions in the questionnaires were sorted into five areas: discovering of the illness and reaction on this finding, foreknowledge of malepartners about eating disorders and possibilities of treatment, needs of partner in time of his female-partner's illness (sharing of the illness, needs and feelings, relationship and communication, positive and negative impacts on male-partner, participation on the treatment and interest in...

3D Visualization of Products in Industry
Janďourek, Miroslav ; Šedivá, Zuzana (advisor) ; Bruckner, Tomáš (referee)
The theme of this bachelor's thesis is to analyze the use of three-dimensional visualization of products in industry and other branches using the computing technology. The theoretical part introduces the possibilities of using 3D computer graphics, basis concepts and principles that are associated with the creation and use of three-dimensional visualization. The following part is describing the life cycle of the modeled object from its preparation to creation of a comprehensive 3D object. Furthermore there are closely specified the recent trends in this area. In the practical part there is a practical illustration which is based on a real photograph of an empty room. By the use of three-dimensional visualization is demonstrated creation of a fully equipped room for this particular property. Another goal is to verify the hypothesis that the 3D visualization has a positive impact on the marketability of the property.

Vitoušová, Libuše ; Horáková Hoskovcová, Simona (referee) ; Šturma, Jaroslav (advisor)
In this dissertation I tried to introduce play work and job of play specialists. Play work is used to treat children's and their parent's emotional and behavioral problems. Play therapists do never act as nurse or doctor. Their job is to guide child and its parents throw hospitalization, communicate with them, and be present to help them solve their problems or answer their questions. They also act as communication bridge between doctors and clients. In my research I was interviewing thirteen therapists to get information about their opinions, needs, and experiences, based on their work. All of the specialists agreed that they see their work as meaningful, feeling it's helpful for clients. They all have very good work motivation. To cover their needs, they would like to have more education, supervisory control, consultation, and trainings. They feel possible problems in following up those needs, to find own position in the work team, sometimes even communicating with children or parents. In spite of that they can feel satisfaction with their work and social support, and also feel positive feedback about their job. There is very good cooperation between specialists.

Actual health status of red deer (Cervus elaphus) population in KRNAP region
Bártl, Josef ; Lamka, Jiří (advisor) ; Ducháček, Lubomír (referee)
This study took place in 2006 and 2007 and includes the results of the 2005, is aimed at verifying the health status of wild stocks of Red Deer (Cervus elaphus) in KRNAP in the Czech Republic. The incidence of parasitic infections was investigated by coprological methods (qualitative ovoscopic method and quantitative larvoscopic method) on the Pharmaceutical Faculty of Charles University in Hradec Kralove, Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology. In all yards were from parasitic nematodes most evidenced by the frequency Elaphostrongylus cervi, with less frequency in other nematodes Strongylida family and genus Capillaria. Mycobacterial infection caused by Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis and Mycobacterium bovis were investigated by the culture method of mycobacteriosis and serological methods immunodifuse test (IDT) and complement fixation (RVK) on Research Institute of Veterinary Medicine, Center Laboratory, accredited testing laboratory in Brno (registration number: 1354). In this study was not discovered any positive samples. The study shows that mycobacterial infection not occur in wild population of Red Deer, and the parasitic infections in gastrointestinal tract are very low.

Součková, Soňa ; Jandík, Tomáš (advisor) ; Hedbávný, Petr (referee)
Diplomová práce - Soňa Součková: Simulation of pension reform impact on real estate market Abstract The objective of this thesis is to estimate the impact of pension reform on commercial property market in the Czech Republic during the period of 2013 -2017. Our hypothesis is that a potential pension reform would have a positive significant impact on property investment volumes via institutions constituting the second pillar. In the first step, we provide analysis of pension reforms recently applied in Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Given analysis of selected countries and specifics of the proposed Czech pension reform, we estimate that the institutions in the second pillar may face additional yearly cash inflows beginning on EUR 1.23 billion in 2013 and further increasing to EUR 2.59 billion in 2017. Furthermore, we estimate that a likely share allocation by second pillar institutions into real estate would lie in the region of 0 - 14% depending on the discrete decision of the regulators. Using a conservative leverage of 40% for bank financing, we estimate that the expected investment volumes allocated by second pillar institutions into real estate would be EUR 61 - 287 million in year 2013. Given the average investment volumes of EUR 1334 million p.a. allocated into commercial...

Cold asphalt mixtures with R-material
Ševc, Jan ; Mondschein,, Petr (referee) ; Stehlík, Dušan (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the use of R-material into cold asphalt mixtures. It deals with cold recycling and with input materials for this technology. It verifies properties of R-material and residues of bituminous binder. It also verifies properties of designed cold asphalt mixtures by the probative controls (indirect tensile strenght and water resistance). Furthermore is focused on the experimental measurement of selected mixtures to ensure more characteristics. The amount of homogenity of R-material, quantity and quality of residues bituminous binder is essential for positive results.
