Autumn Eurasian Crane (\kur{Grus grus}) migration passage across the Czech Republic with special focus on the south-west Bohemia region
MILLEROVÁ, Adéla
The common crane (Grus grus) is a migratory bird which was earlier considered as a rarely migrating kind in the Czech Republic. Currently here migrate up to several thousand individuals of common crane. Common cranes in Europe use two main migration routes - eastern and western. The eastern migration route runs from Finland and north-west of Russia through Hungary to northern Africa. The west migration route, which is also used by cranes nesting in the Czech Republic, runs from Norway, Sweden and Finland through Germany and France to Spain. During the migration, cranes stop at a gathering point where they have a rest and search for food. One of the best-known gathering points of common cranes is located in Hungarian national park Hortobágy. Phenology of migration is generally influenced by a broad spectrum of factors. In the last decade distinct changes of migration behaviour of this kind have been recorded. It probably comes to interconnection between eastern and western migration routes. A part of common cranes deviates from the eastern migration route, and at the same time migrates through the Czech Republic and connects to the western migration route. The aim of this work was to work out an overview of phenology of migration and to analyse available data on the migration of cranes in Southwestern Bohemia and adjoining areas (Bavaria, Upper Austria). The results show that it comes to increase in numbers of observed individuals of cranes in Southwestern Bohemia. When migrating through our territory, the cranes mostly prefer north-western flight direction. These results show that it probably comes to interconnecting of the eastern and western migration route. The average date of cranes passing through our territory over the years 2010 to 2019 has not changed demonstrably. The average daily temperature had a marginally significant effect on the passage of individuals of common cranes through our territory. The number of individuals passing through our territory between the census dates in the Hortobágy national park was demonstrably influenced by the date (period) of the passage.

Finite element solution of axially loaded bars using linear element
Plucnar, Tomáš ; Návrat, Tomáš (referee) ; Vaverka, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the finite element method for axially loaded bars using linear basis functions. The theoretical part briefly describes the theory of axially loaded bars and states the individual steps that lead from the initial differential equation to a system of linear algebraic equations. A Weak formulation of the differential equation is used to derive the system. Using the theory described in the first part, an algorithm is created in Matlab, which is used to solve four problems. The results are then compared with the analytical solution and with the model in Ansys.

This bachelor’s thesis was written in order to design the propulsion system for a vertical takeoff and landing competition model airplane intended to participate in the New Flying Competition 2022. The task of the thesis was to analyze the rules of the competition and design the propulsion system. The research section includes an analysis on the competition’s rules followed by a review of the propulsion system components. In the next section, a basic analysis of the parameters of the airplane is performed for the purpose of the airplane fulfilling the competition requirements. In the last part of the thesis, a propulsion system components selection method is proposed and carried out. The output of the thesis is a propulsion system suitable for use in the designed airplane.
Stress-strain analysis of the railway bridge in Zahrádky near Česká Lípa
Abdul moghni, Abdul rahman ; Vosynek, Petr (referee) ; Fuis, Vladimír (advisor)
Každý model tedy obsahuje zátěž z důvodu vlastní váhy a zatížení způsobeno projíždějícím vlakem.
Stress-strain analysis of Kozlov lookout tower
Winter, Josef ; Vaverka, Jiří (referee) ; Fuis, Vladimír (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is aimed at stress and deformation analysis of strut frame. The object of interest is lookout tower Kozlov close to the city of Česká Třebová in region of Ústí nad Orlicí in Pardubice Department. The main aim is to simplify 3D model of strut frame and its analysis. At the beginning I deal with history of lookout towers, theoretical introduction of bar, strut frames and limit states. Then follows modelling of 3D model with modified topology of bars and following calculation for different static loading and calculation for static determination. At the end numerical calculation was done to compare chosen model with analytic solution.
Stress-strain analysis of a crane arm
Mora, Lukáš ; Halabuk, Dávid (referee) ; Fuis, Vladimír (advisor)
The content of this bachelor’s work is a summarization of types of tower cranes and subsequent stress-strain analysis of the crane arm of the crane type 150EC-B8 Litronic located on the Šumavská street in Brno. Analytical stress-strain analysis is calculated with equations of equilibrium using joint method in various types of loading of the construction with MAPLE software. Numerical calculation is executed on 3D model of the construction in software ANSYS. The aim of this bachelor work is the verification of the correctness and comparison results of analytic calculation with numeric calculation and evaluation of the results from a limit states and deformation standpoint.
Bonding of 3D printed PET-G parts
Maxa, Ondřej ; Kupčák, Radim (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
This bachelor thesis solves the problem of gluing PET-G material, which is used for printing 3D models in 3D printers. The goal is to select and then test the adhesive suitable for bonding the material. The suitability of the recommended adhesives was determined on the basis of standardized tests on experimental blasting equipment. Based on the measurement results, it is suitable to use one-component instant adhesives for gluing PET-G material, the advantage of which is easy handling and quickly achievable handling strength.
Adhesion of Adhesive Joints for Facade Applications Made of Wood-based Materials
Nečasová, Barbora ; Schmid, Pavel (referee) ; Sedlák,, Petr (referee) ; Kovářová, Barbora (advisor)
The presented dissertation thesis is focused on investigating the adhesive properties of façade cladding made of wood and wood-based materials in combination with flexible adhesion/assembly systems. The systems allow the implementation of effective construction joints and provide a solution with uniform stress distribution which allows the transfer of heavy loads, while simultaneously reducing the weight of the entire structure, which is also often connected with substantial cost reductions. Despite all that, little attention has been paid to this area so far. It is not a solution which is properly embodied in technical standards or in designers´, architects´ and contractors´ awarenesses. The aim of this dissertation is to characterise adhesive properties of selected façade cladding representatives made of wood and wood-based materials for the purposes of bonded joint application in a ventilated façade system. To define adhesion of façade joints, numerical and experimental methods are used, taking also various limit conditions into account. The main conclusion of the dissertation is the characterisation of basic parameters which influence adhesion, effectiveness and quality of façade glued joints. The secondary conclusion is the compilation of a simple methodical procedure for testing and implementing façade glued joints. The dissertation also makes a contribution by extending the current state of knowledge of façade adhesive joints.
