Economic Evaluation of Projects in Road Infrastructure in the Czech Republic and Slovakia

This diploma thesis deals with the problems of economic evaluation in road infrastructure projects in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In the analytical part the methodology in both countries is solved, diversity is analyzed and in the end the searched differences are assessed. On the basis of results, recommendations are presented. The practical part is concentrated on the proper differences that are further included in the methodology. The general evaluation of advantages and disadvantages of the economic assessment method and suggestion of possible adjustment of the method in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia had been the result of the work.

This thesis covers the topic of Non-profit Managers' Education in the Czech Republic. The first theoretical part concentrates on the brief introduction of the non-profit sector, continues with the core management theories, managers' tasks and competencies, and introduces the primary differences between non-profit and profit organizations. It continues with short history of managers' education with concentration in non-profit sector. The first part closes with educational theories, the design of specialized study programs and opinions of current managers on needs of non-profit sector. The second part includes methodology with the main goals, research questions and their presumptions, and also the concrete chosen method and its description. The last part of the thesis is the empirical research which processes data from the questionnaire survey, by which are answered the research questions and fulfilled goals of the thesis.

Point out anatomical, physiological, psychological, performance, technical and tactical factors affecting training processes and training units in men's and women's ice hockey. Using a questionnaire among players and coaches, I examined the knowledge of specific gender needs and their placement in the training units, knowledge of competition systems and game plans, differences in rules and men's and women's ice hockey. Furthermore, player and coaching history and hockey coaching education. Using a questionnaire among public, I examined opinions on female players and women's ice hockey, differences in attendance and viewership of men's and women's matches, knowledge of male and female players, teams and international successes of national hockey teams. I compared average age, weight and height of male players in Tipsport Extraliga and female players in women's league. I also compared the amount of training units of men's team HC Verva Litvínov and women's team HC Litvínov in the season 2014/2015. Analysis of tennis single on clay

Title: Analysis of tennis single on clay Objectives: The aim of the work was to analyze 10 elite players on clay and also to discover differences in observed aspects of their plays. Methods: The analysis was done by observing video recordings of chosen matches from the French Open 2016 tournament. It was a notational analysis. The results were recorded into record sheets that were prepared in advance. Firstly, descriptive analysis was used to analyze all of the matches. Thereafter, all of the matches were analyzed by descriptive analysis of graphs and measured values. Results: The results show different techniques and styles among male athletes on clay, given the service and its variations, the return and its variations, the length of plays, and other observed aspects; resulting in other tactical differences among the players. Title: The relationships between the level of physical activity, physical fitness and somatotype in youth women players. Author: Jitka Chlastáková Head of work: Mgr. Jakub Kokštejn, Ph.D. Aim: To find and compare the level of physical activity, physical fitness and somatotype in youth women players (U13 and U15). The next aim was to determine the relationships between physical activity, physical fitness and somatotype in youth women players (U13 and U15). Methods: The object of the research was a group of girls aged from 11 to 15 years. Out of them were 14 girls actually playing for U13 and another 14 for U15. The daily motion aktivity of this group was tested by 14 accelerometers Actigraph GT3X. The length of testing period was one week. The level of motion abilities was examined by testing battery UNIFITTEST 6-60 through four different exercises. Both somatic test and UNIFITTEST 6-60 were realized during a camp. Results: The results show that girls playing for U15 are generally more active than girls playing for U12 (4 171 133 counts > 2 809 934 counts). It proves a fact that older girls make daily on average 15 462 steps compare to 9 764 steps of younger girls. By this result U13 team does not meet the recommendation of 11 000 steps in a day. Bachelor's thesis title: The efficiency of free throws in relation to the game results in the highest men's basketball league in Czech Republic. Aim of thesis The main purpose of this work is to find out how much can successful and unsuccessful free throws affect basketball game by finding differences between the winning and the losing team by using basic statistical calculations. Methods: In my work I used the method of secondary analysis and basic statistical calculations. Significance of the method of secondary analysis is to analyze data which has been collected by someone else and use them to gain new, previously unevaluated information. Results: Carried out the research I discovered what free throw percentage the winning and the losing teams have. The winning teams have a 3% higher success rate of shooting free throws. Analysis of team game performance of basketball representation of the Czech Republic at the European Championship 2013 in Slovenia

Title of Work: Analysis of team game performance of basketball representation of the Czech Republic at the European Championship 2013 in Slovenia. Objectives of Thesis: The main goal of our work is to compare team game performances of Group C and compare the final results of the Czech Republic representation in detail with its rivals at the European Championship in 2013. Partial target is a comparison of average merits between groups of teams which made it to the second round of the tournament of the European Championship 2013 which didn't succeed. Methods of Work: The chief method of the writing was a quantitative analysis of video records of all of the games of Group C, European Championship 2013 with detailed final results of the Czech Republic and its rivals. While using the method of observation, we registered the characteristics of the games and then compared it within the participating teams. In the second part, we compared the final results of pointers of the moving teams to the qualification and teams which didn't' succeed in Group C, European Championship 2013 in Basketball. Results of Work: Based on our work, we found out that the Czech Republic Team presented itself at the European Championship 2013 with different performance in individual games.
