The main purpose of this bachelor's thesis is to complete the given project to implement SAP HANA technology in the role of accelerator for ERP business system, specifically for CO-PA module. There is also basic theory of database systems included as well as description of SAP HANA and SLT technologies. Thanks to them, company should be able to quickly analyze internal financials and based on the given results flexibly respond by changing corporate structure or strategy.

This thesis focuses on the analysis of the existing information system in the small company based on the Czech market. First part of the thesis is an introduction to the theoretical basics of the information systems and related topics contained in this thesis. The next part analyses the current condition of the company and potential on the market, and the detailed analysis of the information system. The last part is a suggestion of the changes that will lead to improving the overall company situation.

Bachelor thesis „Analysis and design of information system for small business“ deals with analyzing the current situation in Ocean’s Joy s.r.o. company in gastronomic sector. The work points to the internal problems and proposes solutions through the implementation of information system. Then there are areas of IS/ICT application identified and methods for selecting a suitable solutions suggested. At the end the author recommends one of the available solutions.

The main content of this thesis is a brief analysis of the current state of all information systems in the advertising company Farao Ltd., thorough analysis of the IS in the area of register and controlling of orders. Based on these analyzes are presented possible solutions to the current situation, including the analytical solution of the creation a system right to the needs of the company and its subsequent implementation. Another important chapter is the evaluation and selection of an optimal solution that takes into accounts both functional (technical) aspect, and economic efficiency of invested money.
