Enterprise architecture
Dvořák, Jaroslav ; Selčan, Vladimír (advisor) ; Buchalcevová, Alena (referee)
This work analyses the enterprise architectures questions. Enterprise architecture is relatively familiar in the field of informatics today. It covers discipline of modeling and planning development of information technology, especially in wide organizations. Enterprise architecture is an important branch under the conditions that system complexity exceeds brain capacities of workers. The first part deals with analysis of enterprise architecture, primarily structure, content and relationship to whole enterprise. The most important part of this section is a characterization of enterprise architecture frameworks that facilitate entire process of formation. The second part deals with introduction of three essential architecture frameworks: Zachman, TOGAF and FEAF. Subsequently FEAF is compared with two previous frameworks. The conclusion of this work contains short comparison of features and contents all three mentioned enterprise architecture frameworks.

The influence of pasture system and pasture exploitation on sward structure and soil properties
ŠTAFKOVÁ, Kateřina
The aim of the thesis is an influence of a grazing method and a frequency of grazing and the influence of grassland load on its composition and the soil enviroment. The basis is a literature rewiew which contains a brief outline of productive and nonproductive function of permanent grasslands, grazing systems, influence of individual livestock on grassland formation and ecological conditions influencing composition of a permanent grassland. The experimental part was performed at Carlsbad region near a village named Fojtov. The experiment includes botanical images of three different grazings, cattle, horse and sheep. At these grazings were made three observations, on the 27th of April 2012, on the 15th of June 2012 and on the 13th of September 2012. At the cattle grazing were made observations at three different growth types, at the sheep grazing were made at two different growth types considering a slope of grassland and on the horse grazing was made one observation. Obtained informations were used for calculation of species diversity indices (Simpsons and Hills) and for water regime of site. A part of the practical part was also to calculate overall grazing load for a grazing period and the grazing load for each grazing cycle.

Speakers identification using ALIZE library
Skulínek, Zdeněk ; Burget, Radim (referee) ; Přinosil, Jiří (advisor)
Recently computing power has been significantly increasing and speaker identification systems have been drawing to the foreground among others. Many libraries have been developed, no matter if open--source or proprietary. One of them is for example ALIZE that was developed at Avignon university. This library offers general concept for staff with biometric values, statistic computations and complex framework for intended application. The goal of this thesis is to test this library, namely by constructing a practical application for speaker identification. This thesis describes successful assembly of that application. Application is platform independent and it is also tested on three basic platforms. These platforms are attached as files into VirtualBox virtual machine. This thesis takes notice of practical experiences with ALIZE library and also describes it's structure and architecture. There are 50 patterns of 9 speakers used for testing in average length 20 seconds. Application recognizes speakers very reliable in these given patterns. Therefore real neccesary length test for speaker recognition was accomplished at the end of this thesis.

Framework for distributed monitoring of services
Skotáková, Lenka ; Zavoral, Filip (referee) ; Děcký, Martin (advisor)
Title: Framework for distributed monitoring of services Author: Lenka Skotáková Department: Department of Software Engineering Supervisor: Mgr. Martin Děcký, Department of Distributed and Dependable Systems Supervisor's e-mail address: martin.decky@d3s.mff.cuni.cz Abstract: Monitoring of servers and its services enables early detection of problems.Distributed monitoring provides the advantage of load balancing between multiple nodes. Most of the tools providing distributed monitoring still retain the master node as a single point of failure. Distributed system working without a central node is more reliable. Redundancy of monitoring can be also introduced for further increase of reliability. Then it is appropriate to ensure that reports of failures do not repeat. This thesis presents a distributed system for monitoring of services, resistant to failure of nodes including a node that currently acts as a coordinator. Nodes automatically distribute tasks among themselves and found problems are collected and stored so that the notifications are not repeated. Keywords: distributed systems, distributed monitoring, network services, Invitation algorithm

Security of Slovakia from perspective of Copenhagen School
Pavúk, Ján ; Veselý, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Dubský, Zbyněk (referee)
The diploma thesis captures the contemporary security situation of Slovakia, identifies security problems by which it feels threatened, then goes on to point out whom and what Slovakia wants to protect and which strategy it plans to use in order to do that. At the same time it identifies the main insecurities of EU as a whole and those of Russia. These two powers are seen to play a major role in formation of relationships of amity and enmity, of cooperation and hostility in European regional security supercomplex of which, Slovakia is inseparable part. To describe and conduct analysis, author applies theories and analytical tools formulated by Copenhagen School. Most used were analytical frameworks and concepts of securitization, regional security complexes and sectoral approach to security.

Quality of Services in WAN

This bachelor thesis is inquire into direct traffic in computer network based on TCP/IP protocol. In the finish we can direct packets, that network traffic will behave by our rules. We will use only free software for this solution – this solution is based on FreeBSD system, PF packet firewall and queue framework ALTQ. Part of this thesis make examples queuing include fullversion scripts that are in elektronic appendix. The thesis was developed in research project MSM 0021630529 Intelligent Systems in Automation.

Volleyball as a part of P.E. lesson at grammar schools
Urbančík, Michal ; Pokorný, Ladislav (advisor) ; Jahodová, Gabriela (referee)
Volleyball as a part of P.E. lesson at grammar schools Summary The aim of this thesis is to summarize issues about teaching volleyball during P.E. lessons at grammar schools. The core of this work lies in the empirical part, whose goal is to answer research questions about the form and the extent of teaching volleyball, students' preferences concerning this sport, and determining a methodical model of teaching volleyball. In the theoritical part you can find basic rules, six basic skills, information about formations and combinations, which are used in the game. The research part deals with determining of various hypothesis and they are either confirmed or disproven. The research methods used in this section are a questionnaire and an experiment itself. The last methodical part analyses training units of the experiment. As a result, voleyball lessons for boys at grammar schools are covered. The main contribution in this part is the elaboration of a model program consisting of 12 training units, which can be used by teachers in P.E. lessons. Key words: Grammar school, team sport, volleyball, physical education, basic skills

Comparison of approaches to storing linked open data
Hanuš, Jiří ; Chlapek, Dušan (advisor) ; Kučera, Jan (referee)
The aim of this diploma thesis is a detail description of current possibilities and ways of storing open data. It focuses on tools and database systems used for storing linked open data as well as on the selection of such systems for subsequent analysis and comparison. The practical part of the thesis then focuses on the comparison of selected systems based on a selected use case. This thesis introduces the fundamental terms and concepts concerning linked open data. Besides that, various approaches and formats for storing linked open data (namely file ori-ented approaches and database approaches) are analyzed. . The thesis also focuses on the RDF format and database systems. Ten triplestore database solutions (solutions for storing data in the RDF format) are introduced and described briefly. Out of these, three are cho-sen for a detailed analysis by which they are compared with one another and with a rela-tional database system. The core of the detail analysis lies in performance benchmarks. Ex-isting performance oriented benchmarks of triplestore systems are described and analyzed. In addition to that, the thesis introduces a newly developed benchmark as a collection of database queries. The benchmark is then used for the performance testing. The following systems have been tested: Apache Jena TDB/Fuseki, OpenLink Virtuoso, Oracle Spatial and Graph a Microsoft SQL Server. The main contribution of this thesis consists in a comprehensive presentation of current possibilities of storing linked open data.
