Antenna for in-car UWB communication
Špůrek, Jan ; Puskely, Jan (referee) ; Raida, Zbyněk (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is focused on the design of a wireless UWB network inside a car. The project is divided into three parts. In the first part, we describe the design of suitable antennas and feeding structures. The second part is focused on the simulation of a reciprocal communication for each type of the antenna in free space. In the third part, we investigate the effect of interference caused by near parts of the car for each type of the antenna. The results are then evaluated and the most suitable antenna is chosen for realization. The fourth part describes modifications of the antenna for SMA connector, which is necessary for measurement. In the fifth part we discuss measured results and compare them with assumptions from simulations. Results of the thesis are summarized in the conclusion.

Robotic Rover Controlled with Using the Arduino Platform
Čechmánek, Martin ; Luža, Radim (referee) ; Samek, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to introduce options of wireless robots control with using Arduino platform and describe preferences, options and use of this platform. In this thesis is implemented duplex wireless transfer between modules with XBee modules. Practical part of thesis consists of 2 parts - control module and robotic rover module. Control module is used for controling the other module and it contains display, signal and control parts. Rover module, which is based on SRV-1 robot, contains ultrasonic sensors for distance measuring between rover and barrier around its place, and LED light ramp for lighting places out of the current direction of movement.

Systémy zeleně malých měst v České republice
Tesařová, Marie
The systems of greenery in Czech republic have a lot of specific qualities, which make the image of the city.Urban interior environment mostly serves as a place for various meetings and social events. These spaces come alive thanks to people, who give them reason and meaning. According to the planning of urban space is most importatnt to create it for the people, for their requirements, relax and activities. Greenery with furniture is tha mean factor which makes urban spaces inhabitable and makes cities better. This thesis presents results of field research and shows positive and negative examples.

Autoimmune and lymphoproliferative diseases: associations and common mechanisms
Dobiášová, Alena ; Daňková, Pavlína (advisor) ; Hušáková, Markéta (referee)
Autoimmune and lymphoproliferative diseases share some etiologic mechanisms. The origin of the diseases is complicated process that involves an accumulation of hereditary and somatic mutations in a hematopoetic cell, which thanks to changed activity overcomes different growth and survival control checkpoints. Such mutations are for example those located in genes coding for transcription factors, apoptotic signaling molecules, costimulatory molecules and secreted exctracellular molecules. All these molecules influence the balance between survival and programmed cell death. Their dysregulated expression enables the cell to overcome defensive mechanisms of the immune system. Therefore, autoimmune and malignant cells are able to survive though, under usual circumstances, they would be selected. The main aim of this work is to shed the light on the influence of the dysregulated expression of the particular molecules on the origin of autoimmune and lymphoproliferative diseases. Key words: autoimmune ilnesess, lymphoproliferative diseases, etiology, AIRE, c-MYC, TP53, FOXP3, Fas, PTEN, Bim, CTLA-4, CD5, CD30, CD40/CD40L, BAFF, α-taxilin, IL- 10.

Veřejné sezení a přídavné prvky
Hrušková, Silvie
The Bachelor thesis is about additional separated section and underarms parts of public sitting furniture. Benches mainly in the most busiest spots with non stop usage. This thesis is focusing on current public furniture, it's particular problems and utilization in specific place in Brno. Author's main facts come from professional literature and bulletins. The other informations has been collected through practical sessions on public space. This particular work is divided on to the two sections. First one is about current condition of the furniture and the second one which tries to find solutions for those particular problems related to a furnire.

Immediate early genes as a tool for study of spatial orientation and memory
Bláhová, Veronika ; Němec, Pavel (advisor) ; Telenský, Petr (referee)
Properties of the environment, spatial orientation cues and time-shifting movements are essential for cognitive maps. The understanding of how both space and the animal's position within that space are represented in the brain has been significantly advanced by the discoveries of four principal neuronal types: the place cells, the head direction cells, the grid cells and border cells. Their activity being driven by both allothetic (visual and non-visual landmarks), and idiothetic cues (internal movement cues based on proprioceptive and vestibular information). Brain regions containing aforementioned types of neurons constitute complex spatial representation system. Immediate early genes (IEGs) and their products became sophisticated tool for the study of neural substrate of spatial orientation including magnetic orientation. For further research it is unavoidable to uncover the dynamic of processes related to IEGs in order to better understanding the functions of brain centres involved in rodent navigation circuit. This work summarises our knowledge about spatial orientation of the vertebrates aimed at rodents, in context with detection of IEGs expression as activity markers in neural substrate. There are described most common experimental mazes and most frequent detection methods used in connection with...

J. B. Moliere: Don Juan/ complete method of solution of the stage design-costume and masks
Lebdušková, Petra ; Vohlídalová, Ivana (advisor) ; Zábrodská, Dana (referee)
My master´s thesis is devided to four parts. The first part is about the historical, literature and original meanings about the theme Don Juan. That´s althought about the legend of Don Juan in origin and in the czech background of it. The second part is about the interpretation by the main critics, inscenators and theoreticals. That´s consider by ideas, which are important for me. Third, theoretical part compares two inscenations, which were produced in Czech Republic. The fourth part of my study is the most important, because it´s about my practical solution and conception of Don Juan. It contains reflexion of the theme, relationship to the modern time, the main topics of my conception and the art inspiration. The other part is about the main charakters and their costumes, materials, colors, forms, siluets? The last part is about the stage and the dramatical situations. All of my art design is visible on the fotos.

The Image
Šťáva, Martin ; Mainer, Martin (referee) ; Rathouský, Luděk (advisor)
Picture In my painting series „Picture“ I use a method of visual memory and simple surfaces. My paintings are abstract. In this form I have found my one way to landscape. I have create five large acryl paintings 3x 180cm x 170cm, 190cm x 180cm, 200cm x 170cm.

Public art. "Mural art" of Pasta Oner.
Němečková, Gabriela ; Řehořová, Irena (advisor) ; Marcelli, Miroslav (referee)
Thesis is focused on art in public areas and tries to show how it is changed by the art, what are its functions and how are the interpretational roles of the viewer changed in comparison to the perception of art in a gallery. Theoretical part of the work is based on the concepts of R. Sennett and K. Lynch. Second part of the work is based on the case study which is focused on a analysis of a large-area paintings of Pasta Oner, which are painted on walls in public space. Part of the analysis are also dominant parts of his work, although accent is also made on the interaction of work of art with space in which it is placed. Keywords Public space, art, Pasta Oner, wall art, mural art
