Community is very focused on this area of criminality. In 2007 there were 1 205 of abuse of children. Getting over the long-standing taboo has criminological consequences, which has been confirmed by records on sexual abuse and maltreatment in personal files of dangerous offenders. Therefore, special treatment with offenders of sexual abuse of children represents part of the fight against the most serious criminality and contributes to protection to the most vulnerable members of our community. Commercially motivated sexual abuse of children has been frequently accomplished through a third person that uses pressure or violence on a child. The standardized program should guide an offender towards recognition of reasons and consequences of his/her criminal activities. SUDOVÁ, Markéta

I have placed emphasis on the professional background and dog handling skills of the dog-handler. I also consider the impact of different personality theories on the personality of the handler/therapist, and the importance of theoretical background and preparation in the given area in which the handler/therapist engages with dogs. Based on the positive respondent reactions, I trust that this research will prove to be of use to people involved in human-animal positive interactions.

Ultrasonographic evaluation of cardiovascular abnormalities in patients with Fabry disease
Paleček, Tomáš ; Bultas, Jan (advisor) ; Pudil, Radek (referee) ; Kittnar, Otomar (referee)
Fabry disease is an X-linked glycosphingolipid storage disorder caused by deficient activity of the lysosomal enzyme α-galactosidase A. This leads to progressive intracellular accumulation of neutral glycosphingolipids, mainly globotriaosylceramide. Besides various extracardiac disease-related abnormalities, cardiovascular involvement represents a typical manifestation of Fabry disease. The primary underlying mechanism relies on pathological substrate accumulation in cardiomyocytes, conduction system cells, valvular fibroblasts, endothelial cells and vascular smooth muscle cells. The development of cardiac and vascular hypertrophy represents a characteristic cardiovascular feature of Fabry disease. The aim of our studies was to describe in detail cardiovascular abnormalities in patients with Fabry disease using ultrasonography, which currently represents basic noninvasive imaging modality in cardiology. We focused on structural and functional abnormalities of ventricles, valvular apparatus and their relationship to vascular involvement expressed on common carotid arteries. We also compared the diagnostic accuracy of the two novel echocardiographic methods used for the left ventricular diastolic function assessment. The possible existence of circulating proliferative factor, which might be associated with...

My bachelor's dissertation is mainly focused on mapping the possibilities of implementing activities in the field of employment support for handicapped people in the small region of Opočensko, which is situated in the Královéhradecký region. I analyze current needs of handicapped people expressed through other social and educational service providers and also the state of the local social service market. I map the state of community and strategic planning of the towns Dobruška, Nové Město nad Metují, Opočno and the Královéhradecký region. The summary of its present progress and outputs concerning mainly the state and planned development of social services is further used for more specific definition of the activity of Dílny Tvořivosti nonprofit organization branch in the small region and for framing a draft of a proposed project directly addressing the local situation. In this way I have reached, as I firmly believe, a qualified decision that Dílny tvořivosti can offer its present experience in the field of supporting integration of people threatened with social exclusion and contribute to the solution of current issues of the region in this field. But for setting up a branch of the organization in the small region and providing its services it is needed to obtain stable support of the local government as...
