Analysis of Economic Indicators Using Statistical Methods
Nowaková, Markéta ; Jančová, Petra (referee) ; Novotná, Veronika (advisor)
The aim of bachelor thesis is analysis of the conomic indicators in internet agency Cognito.CZ s.r.o. in Brno. Result of financial analysis is a set of values for each year. For each year are applied statistical methods. Financial analysis revers the strengths and weaknesses of the business and statistical methods determine the prediction of individual economic indicators for the following year. Bachelor thesis contains proposals to improve the problems and situation.

Analysis of Economic Indicators of a Company Using Statistical Methods
Dostálová, Petra ; Jaroš, David (referee) ; Doubravský, Karel (advisor)
This thesis focused on the application of statistical methods in the examination and evaluation of economic indicators in the selected company. The basic issues concerning tie series are outlined in the theoretical part and there are basic economic indicators analyzed in the practical one. A target of this thesis is to asses the current financial situation of this company, to predict its future development using the selected statistical methods and to try to suggest a solution to problems and deficiencies that are caused mainly by the economic indicators failing to reach the required values.

Use of subjunctive/indicative with probability operators (quizás in inicial position) in European Spanish.
PAPEŽOVÁ, Michaela
This Bachelor thesis concerns the use of indicative and subjunctive after operators of probablity modality quizá, quizás and tal vez in the initial position in a sentence using statistical analysis. Geographically, we inspect samples from European Spanish. We investigate the theory in detail then continue in the research section with results in the form of graphs. Research have been conducted using CREA Spanish Royal Academy´s database.

Analysis of Economic Indicators Using Statistical Methods
Picka, Václav ; Vaníček, Jiří (referee) ; Doubravský, Karel (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the analysis of economic indicators of Brno Transport Company, Inc. using statistical methods. The issue of time series, regression analysis and selected economic indicators is illustrated in the theoretical part. In the practical part the indicators will be analyzed using time series and regression analysis associated with their predictions for the future. The last part contains recommendations for possible determination of strategies and business objectives.

Analysis of the Economic Indicators of a Kindergarten Using Statistical Methods
Pokorný, Radek ; Jonášová, Daniela (referee) ; Novotná, Veronika (advisor)
In the Bachelor´s thesis was analysed the primary school in Brno. The analysis was made by using time series of statements ten years back. The thesis consists the estimation of the school, which is from view of children, staff and its management. The theoretical part is concerned with methods of statistical analysis. In the second part are the methods practically applied. The statistical data and the prognosis can use by school for the next decision making.

Strategies for determinig transfer prices in period of economical crisis
Skrbková, Lucie ; Francírek, František (advisor) ; Jakoubek, Jiří (referee)
In the most cases the market range of transfer pricing is determined from statistical data from previous years. In case of these data the time delay occurs when these data are collected and these data do not reflect if that are collected for period of economical growth or recession. As a result, the final transfer pricing range can become distorted. For this reason it is essential to be familiar with strategies and procedures that can be applied to "clean up" statistical data from the influence of business cycle fluctuations. These strategies and procedures are discussed in this diploma thesis. In the first theoretical chapter are presented transfer pricing issues, set the basic terms, analyzed basic available resources dealing with transfer pricing, defined methods for determining transfer pricing range and identified consequences of the economic crisis in relation to transfer pricing. The second chapter is focused on the selection of the most appropriate method for determining transfer pricing and comparative of both the theoretical and practical basis. The last chapter presents the strategies and procedures that can be used in a comparative analysis, in order to eliminate distortions of the statistical data from the influence of business cycle fluctuations.

PSE-Defect - Quality Impact During 48 Hours After Slaughtering
PUDIVÍTR, Aleš
Comparison of pig?s stunning (by electricity or CO2) at slaughterhouse and monitoring the occurrence of quality variance PSE during 48 hours post mortem was main goal of this work. Basic indicators such as pH1, drip loss of water and meat colour (lightness) were determined to assess PSE. In addition to these indicators have been also evaluated values of pH24 and pH48. The result of those indicators is that during stunning by CO2 gas value of pH1 was higher by 0,3 degree (P < 0,001), value of pH24 was higher by 0,243 (P < 0,001) and average drip loss of water was lower by 2,16 % (P < 0,001). Changes in other evaluated indicators were statistically non-significant. Occurrence of quality variance which tends to PSE (PSEi) and PSE was evaluated at slaughterhouse which is using electricity for stunning as higher by 7,843 % at PSEi and 1,961 % at PSE based on value of pH1. As higher was evaluated also drip loss of water by 23,810 % at PSEi respectively 4,762% at PSE. Difference between occurring of PSEi and PSE based on meat colour was not observed. The highest correlation dependence was found between pH1 and drip loss of water (r = 0,586, R2 = 34,315 %).

Verification of the statistical reliability of simulation results in OPNET Modeler environment
Fördős, András ; Vajsar, Pavel (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
Project is focused to verify the credibility of the results of statistical simulation in the surround of OPNET Modeler. At the beginning of the project is a short introduction to the problematic of OPNET Modeler. It describes the basic concepts of mathematical statistics, data types and some basic statistical charakteristics. In the project was created model of LAN network, were set up three different types of runs and several monitored statistics. In this project are listed setting of the model, startup parameters of some runtime simulations, prefered variety of statistics and the possibility to display final results of statistics. Description of options displaying final results of statistics is supplemented by model characteristics. Created model was further extended and modified. Have been added network services, has changed the number of nodes and the duration of the simulation. Results of analysis of the original scenario are compared to the results of a modified scenario, which are scheduled. At the end of this project are obtained result, recommended way and form of displaying basic statistics and advice on the number of simulation runs needed to obtain reliable results.

Statistical analysis of images from optical coherence tomography with retinal applications
Kelča, Jan ; Slávik, Vladimír (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
This work briefly describes the anatomy of the eye and retinal structure, including its pathological changes. The work is focused on the characteristics and the principle of optical coherence tomography and its application in ophthalmology in conjunction with statistical analysis of retinal images. The practical part explains problems of statistical analysis retinal images using histograms representing the distribution of gray shades and approximation of functions, which are stretched exponential function and Nakagami function. Suitable optimalization are obtained parameters, from which are formed parametric maps illustrating the distribution of gray levels in different areas of interest.

Upbringing of the suckling in the family
BÖHM, Jan
In this study I wanted to put together my imaginations and how the upbringing and evolution of the suckling in the family should look like. On that base the parents should be able to give many stimulations to their child for his healthy evolution. This program should be acceptable to a wide spectrum of the parents universally with a view to time, money and local conditions. In my study I describe the upbringing of the suckling in the family with a view to his optimum evolution based on physical, mental and spiritual health. The first, theoretical part contains knowledge and experience of well-known Czech and foreign specialists who are engaged in those problems. The second, experimental parts brings the pieces of information about the right influence of the child´s upbringings and his gearing to programs of physical and mental evolution and his next life in the family with special care and as follows his putting across the social life. In statistical evaluating I compare all the results which are important for the right evolution of the child. My study wants to show important methods how to bring up the suckling from his first day of being born because it is the main meaning for his future life. At the beginning of each upbringing phase of the suckling it is acceptable to recommend this program to all the parents and it is possible to consult the methods of programs with specialists until they gain control of it themselves.
