Frekvence příjmu mléčné krmné směsi v průběhu dne a její vliv na růst u telat českého strakatého skotu
Vozihnojová, Dominika
In this diploma thesis analysis of frequency of milk compound intake during the day and its effect on growth in Czech fleckvieh cattle calves was performed in a large-capacity calf shed Kelčice, which belongs to the agricultural cooperative Určice. The monitoring, which lasted 12 months (from March 2022 to March 2023), included the frequency of daily milk compound intake. The calves were weighed on the day of arrival at the reception pavilion and again on the day of daparture to calf nursery at the end of the milk feeding period. During the monitoring, the temperature (°C) and relative humidity (%) in the calf house were measured using the HOBO sensor. Bulls showed greater weight gain (by 0.06 kg) compared to heifers at the same intake of milk replacer (P < 0.01). The greatest growth was recorded in calves that received an average of 7.1 and more liters of milk replacer (MR) per day (P < 0.01). The effect of the number of feeding days was also observed, when calves achieved greater average daily gain during a longer stay in the reception pavilion (P < 0.01). It was observed that temperatures above 20 °C had a negative effect on the calves, which was shown by the average daily gain, which was the smallest at the highest intake of MR. On the contrary, the temperature of 0-5 °C suited the calves the most when it showed the greatest growth.
Vliv různého způsobu zpracování půdy na obsah vody v půdě
Mazel, Petr
The thesis deals with the effect of different tillage on the water content in the soil. The theoretical part is devoted to soil, soil properties, characteristics of soil tillage and the effects of soil tillage on soil properties. Monitoring of the effects of tillage on soil moisture was carried out in plot experiments at the Žabčice Field Experiment Station of the Mendel University in Brno. The experiment took place in 2022 and 3 tillage variants were monitored (traditional tillage, minimization tillage and no-tillage). For the assessment of soil moisture were determined: mass moisture, volume moisture, relative humidity and soil absorbency. Soil samples were taken on plots with winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) at three depths (0-10 cm, 10-20 cm, 20-30 cm). For mass moisture was statistically significant difference (p < 0.05) demonstrated between tillage variants, and the highest moisture was achieved with traditional tillage of 17.11%. For volume moisture were not found statistically significant differences (p < 0.05) between the tillage variants. For relative humidity were statistically significant differences (p < 0.05) achieved between treatment variants with the highest value in the no-till variant of 53.03%. A statistically significant difference (p < 0.05) was found for soil absorbency between traditional and minimization tillage, and the highest absorbency was achieved after traditional tillage of 38.75%.
Vliv teploty vzduchu ve stáji na parametry mléčné užitkovosti dojnic českého strakatého skotu v konkrétním chovu
Hanáková, Šárka
The aim of this thesis is to analyse the effect of air temperature on milk yield parameters of dairy cattle in a specific breeding system. The milk yield parameters included milk yield (kg milk), lactation order (n), lactation phase (days) and milk components content (% fat and % protein). The observations were carried out between January and December 2022. Data on milk yield parameters were obtained from the results of the Performance Check (PC). A total of 7 863 individual cases (dairy cows) were evaluated. During the monitoring period, air tem-perature in the stable (°C), relative humidity (%) were collected using a temperature-humidity sensor (HOBO). The results showed that temperature had no statistically significant effect on milk yield, lactation stage and lactation sequence. On the other hand, there were significant differences in the content of milk components, which were fat and protein (P < 0.01). In the case of relative humidity, there was a statistically significant effect on milk yield, where milk yield decreased with increasing values of relative humidity in the cows studied (P < 0.01). Relative humidity also influenced fat and protein content (P < 0.01). In the case of THI, there were no statistically significant differences in milk yield, lactation order and lactation phase (P > 0.05), but statistically significant differences were found for milk components (P < 0.01).

This work, tries to create a small, rechargeable and portable device that senses temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, dust particles, carbon dioxide and VOC concentration. The air quality monitor can reliably measure the physical quantities encountered in every indoor environment, evaluate them and display them to the user. The sensors, data storage module and OLED display are housed on a custom-made PCB board.
Logging station for humid environments
Pavlík, Jan ; Roubal, Zdeněk (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
This thesis is about the design of a meteorological station deployed in a wet environment and its construction. The station will be used for measuring meteorological instrumentation in caves, because of that the station was designed to minimize its power consumption. Firmware was designed, to allow remote control of the station. A major part of the thesis is concerned with selection and description of the sensors and components used. Near the end of the thesis the control algorithm, communication interface and construction of the device is described.
Weather station for smart home system
Mitter, Martin ; Burian, František (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
This semesterly thesis deals with designing of weather station whose task is to provide via wireless data transfer on Wi-Fi network up-to-date information of measured temperature, barometric pressure, relative humidity, ambient light, wind speed and directions to smart home system, whose job is to store the values, creates its visualization for users and based on the data regulates the systems. The work describes the selection of suitable sensors for those variables and the design of the structure of the hardware part of the weather station. Theoretical parameters of the proposed solution are compared with the competition. Then the whole system is build and tested.

This diploma thesis deals with the design and implementation of a portable weather station which allows you to measure air temperature, relative humidity, atmospheric pressure and especially the concentration of suspended particles in the air on which the work is focused. The portable weather station must be compact and have its own power supply. Part of the work is also the implementation of own measurements in selected localities.
Proposal of project based education on the topic of air-conditioning function of vegetation in the landscape
ŽEJDL, Matěj
As part of this work, the role of the regional vegetation in the water cycle was designed in the project of education. The project was made in a try of the praxis. A part of the education is measuring air temperature and the relative air humidity in the different habitats. Due to this measuring primary school students can see differences between habitats and they can think about the meaning of the project education in the role of the differences in the vegetation and in which way flora is influencing the water. The work is focused on the research of the meteorological and biological conditions suitable for education project management. Work also briefly sums the role of respondents in the Biology lessons and their knowledge of the examined topics made during the lectures. The finding of the primary school student's knowledge was done with the use of questionnaire.
Viscoelastic properties of hydrogels depending on relative humidity
Kouřilová, Ludmila ; Heger, Richard (referee) ; Smilek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is mainly aimed on the determination of the dependence of the viscoelastic properties of physically crosslinked hydrogels on the relative humidity controlled by humidity cell (as an accessory to a rotary rheometer), or the desiccator with the drying medium. The main objective was to optimise the methodology of the humidity cell for the rheological determination of the viscoelastic properties of hydrogel materials as a function of relative humidity and to verify experimental setup on the agarose hydrogel. The results showed that the agarose hydrogel gradually loses its dispersion medium after exposure to chosen relative humidity, resulting in a loss of contact between the upper rheometer sensor and the sample when measured with the standard measurement gap control setting, which is constant during the measurement. The setting of the control of normal force proved to be an appropriate solution, which has led to a gradual reduction in the height of the upper rheometer sensor in an attempt to keep the normal force at the desired level during the drying of the hydrogel. A humidity cell proves to be an appropriate method for determining the dependence of the viscoelastic properties of hydrogels on relative humidity. Unlike the use of a desiccator with drying medium, the drying of the hydrogel sample does not result in such rapid drying that it breaks the texture on its surface. Another advantage of a humidity cell is the ability to maintain the desired relative humidity value even if the gel begins to release dispersion medium into its surroundings, which was not possible with a desiccator with drying medium.
Permeability of natural surfaces of Hruba Skala sandstone in rock cities for water vapour and intensity of evaporation
Slavík, Martin ; Bruthans, Jiří (advisor) ; Pavlíková, Milena (referee)
Aim of this study was to describe capillary water and vapor transport in shallow subsurface of Hrubá Skála sandstone in the Bohemian Paradise. I have quantified permeability of Hrubá Skála sandstone for water vapor using "wet cup" method and also capillary water absorption of sandstone drill cores. I have found out general rules of evaporation and rate of evaporation from several sandstone outcrops in real microclimate. Important part of my work was to determine whether surface crust plays some role in studied parameters. Based on my results, permeability of different types of sandstones for water vapor does not vary significantly and surface crust has no effect on rate of water vapor diffusion. Rate of capillary water absorption is reduced by surface crust. Hrubá Skála sandstone is classified as medium or highly absorbing material. I have proved that evaporation from porous medium can be approximated by exponential function. Rate of evaporation is strongly controlled by climatic conditions, especially by relative humidity.
