Condition Monitoring analysis for use by Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

This bachelor’s thesis deals with secondary Condition Monitoring data analysis to measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). First part of the thesis contains a research necessary to understand the problematics of condition monitoring technology and Key Performance Indicators. Also, the theoretical part includes a research on suitable data analysis software. The practical part of the thesis deals with choosing a data analysis software, data processing and data analysis and Key Performance Indicators measurement. Then visualizations are made and trends are measured. Based on the results from the practical part, a recommendation in matter of KPIs is made for the company, which provided the data, on which this bachelor’s thesis was realized.
Intelligent ventilation with remote control and supervision

The aim of the bachelor thesis is a design and physical realization of system for intelligent passive ventilation. The mechanical controller of ventilation is designed with 3D modelling software. The resulting model is then created by 3D printing technology. The controlling unit realizes the ventilation of the room according to a designed algorithm. This algorithm reacts to current values of temperature and relative humidity measured by indoor and outdoor sensor unit. The remote control and monitoring is provided by application for mobile phones with Android operating system. The application allows the user to set parameters for controlling the ventilation and informs about current values of temperature and relative humidity.
Implementation of the system for analysis and optimization of business systems with the use of artificial intelligence

This diploma thesis deals with the realization of a business order, consisting in creating a system of rapid analysis and optimization based on real business data of currency pairs using the MATLAB software. Within this developed topic a customer automated trading system is implemented, including the analysis and the optimization of the system parameters. There was also used a predictive system of the development of the prices, using artificial intelligence methods, based on historical data. The obtained data from the optimization and the simulations of the automated trading system are clearly summarized in graphic outputs.
Introduction to financial derivatives, focusing on SWAPS

AB S T R A C T This thesis deals principally with swaps; however, for a complex understanding, there are some general chapters regarding financial derivatives included therein. The thesis proceeds from a historic-theoretical doctrine of financial derivatives. Besides the substance, essence, purpose and categorization of financial derivatives, the emphasis is laid in this theoretical part of the thesis on the legal status of financial derivatives. Under Czech law, financial derivatives are not sufficiently defined. The legal status of financial derivatives is questionable as well - in particular the question, whether financial derivatives constitute gambling or not, and whether they are, therefore, enforceable or not. The practical part of the thesis commences with a brief description and explanation of other important derivatives (forwards, futures, options etc.). The main topic of this thesis - swaps - are being analysed from various angels; as well as from the private law point of view, as from the public (regulatory) point of view. Furthermore, the thesis outlines the risks of (mis)use of swaps (and credit default swaps (CDS) in particular). Besides the summary of the most important points stated in this thesis, the conclusion includes the de lege ferenda thoughts as well.

Studie se zabývá energetickou a environmentální náročností staveb a možnostmi, jak ji ekonomicky efektivně snížit. Byly shromážděny a analyzovány údaje ze tří zdrojů: z průzkumu na stavebních úřadech, ze vzorku energetických auditů a z většího množství projektů reálných budov. byly vytvořeny modely budov, které hodnotí budovy jako celek. Do modelu byly zahrnuty potřeby energií na vytápění, ohřev vody a provoz elektrospotřebičů, odpovídající provozní náklady, potřebné reinvestice v průběhu sledované životnosti objektu a environmentální důsledky jeho provozu. Závěrečná zpráva podává celkový pohled na možnosti ovlivnění obvyklého způsobu navrhování staveb z hlediska všech účastníků tohoto procesu, a to v rámci technických, ekonomických a organizačních možností účastníků.
