Operation and economy of an agricultural company

This Bachelor thesis deals with evaluation of the activities of an agricultural company and its economy. The work is divided into two parts theoretical and practical. The theoretical part contains the explanation of basic economic terms of agricultural companies. In the methodology part there are described the necessary procedures for obtaining the data. The evaluation of an agricultural company named "Company A" in period from 2011 to 2013 is the point of the practical part.
Management services in the power engineering

The work deals with the electricity sector. It falls into the network industries together with the gas industry and telecommunications. Electricity sector is part of the power engineering and involves the generation, transmission, distribution and use of electrical energy. The work is territorially defined only in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part contains the characteristics of services, customers, markets, marketing mix of services, using of information technology in services and power engineering. The practical part deals with performing the analysis. The analysis is divided into three main parts. The first part consists of an analysis of the historical development of electricity price since 2006, the development of services in the energy sector and the current range of services for the suppliers and the final customers of electricity. The second part consists of an analysis of the external environment, marketing mix of services in the power engineering and communication processes between a customer and a supplier. The third part is devoted to the topic of energy audits, license of the energy demands of buildings (hereinafter referred to as license) and renewable resources of energy. In the conclusion is questionnaire survey, which is deeply devoted to the issue of license, both in terms of awareness of the energy demands of buildings, and in terms of its desirability.
Phones Czech consumers expensively? Market analysis of mobile operators in the Czech Republic.

This thesis will examine whether the price level on the market of mobile services in comparison with other countries is high or not. After performing own international price comparison which revealed high price level in both analyzed consumer baskets thesis offers some possible options which could lead to the current high price level on the market. The observed high market concentration is one of the possible solutions and leads to discover several solutions whose analysis shows that high price level in the Czech mobile services market cannot be associated with only one factor. The price level is mainly affected by the absence of more operators which can be partly attributed to the insufficient steps of market regulator - ČTÚ especially in the area of termination fees and lease licenses to operating in mobile networks. Both of these steps are also very important for the future development of the market.
Analysis of Ratios on Shelves and of Selling Prices of Ladies' Hygiene Products in International Drug-Store Chains

The objective of this bachelor's thesis was to analyze the market of feminine hygiene products on international drug stores in the Czech Republic and identify how displaying of these products on individual stores corresponds to their category market share and suppliers. Thesis also compares prices across categories and points of sales.
The analysis of strategy of chosen company

The master thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical and deals with the development of tourism, business strategy in hotel trade and marketing mix. The second part is practical and is focused on the analysis of business strategy of Smaragd Hotel. Within the business strategy strengths and weaknesses of the hotel, competition, income and expenses, and marketing mix are analyzed. Based on the analysis, possible solutions of the future development of the hotel are proposed.
Price perception vs. measured inflation and its influence and impact on economics and political vote

Measurement of price level with consumer price indices forms some gap between measured inflation and perceived inflation. The graduation theses is concerned with quantification of gap in particular group of individuals and shows on measuring data, how this gap influents individuals, if growth of cost of living according to consumer price index copies price perception. It illustrates influence the incorrect construction of indices as important orientation point in economy, which redistribution of recourses, in context with usage of indices for income indexation and suggests more appropriate approach for constructing aggregate price index. It investigates what factors influence price perception and comes into gain and loses calculation which people are confronted. Price perception is influenced both socio-economic and political environment. The end of theses overlaps into political vote and investigates if there is causal of relationship between price perception and political vote.
The discount phenomenon at the beginning of the new millennium

This bachelor's thesis aims to research into the consumer behaviour with respect to sales and discounts. The theoretical part provides the definition of consumer behaviour and forms of sales and discounts, focusing on the phrase "for FREE". The next part takes a look "under the bonnet" of low prices in retail chains and introduces Czech retail chains and their recent development along with the continuously increasing offer of special sales and discounts on the Czech market. One chapter deals specifically with "group-buying platforms" -- a new phenomenon on the Czech Internet. The practical part of the thesis summarises the results of a questionnaire-based survey among "discount hunters". The thesis is concluded by a calculation of the impact of special sales and discounts on people's wallets.

Historie bankovnictví na českém území

Předmětem mé bakalářské práce je diskuse nad škodlivostí monetárního jevu deflace. Na začátku práce objasňuji, jak se bankovnictví vyvíjelo od počátku vzniku peněz, přičemž důraz kladu na bankovní systém a monetární politiku Rakousko-Uherska a hlavně Československa, které se s deflací ve 20. a 30. letech 20. století potýkalo a jak zasáhly takové autority tehdejší republiky jakými byli Alois Rašín a Karel Engliš. V další části práce uvádím, jak se na deflaci dívá ekonomie hlavního proudu a proti ní rakouská škola i po-friedmanovská větev ekonomů. Nemohla bych opomenout ani názor prof. Vencovského, který se touto problematikou detailně zabýval. V závěru práce si skromně dovoluji shrnout problematiku deflace a její vliv na ekonomiku, zda je deflace ?zdravím?, či ?nemocí? ekonomiky.
