The Developmental Typology of the Fastest Growing Portion of the Metropolitan USA in the Decade from 2000 to 2010

This text was written as a diploma thesis of master's degree study course "Regional and political geography." It focuses on the development between the last two censuses, of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the United States. The economic crisis of the late 2000s has been a major turning point of the decade. The goal of the research was to create a developmental typology of the fastest growing metros. The text analyzes "classifiers" data in order to decide what developmental types have been among the metros. A major factor contributing to high population gains in the fastest growing metros was the migration induced by the housing bubble.
Labour market and spatial mobility in Plzen region

The Czech Republic underwent considerable social, political and economic changes after 1989. An important step was the creation of the labor market where jobs and wages were created based on market supply and demand. Due to effects of these market forces, unemployment was an unavoidable consequence. . Closely related to this was workforce flexibility which over the years became increasingly important. People migrating for work also had an effect on the housing market. The main objective of this thesis is to analyze the labor market in the Plzeň Region and the related spatial mobility since 2000 (with a brief development in the 90's). Another important objective is to determine to what extent the migration of the population is affected by the labor market situation and developments in the housing market. Two major institutions were used as the data source for processing thse reviews. The Labour Market in the Plzeň Region was mapped on the basis of data from the Labour Office in Plzeň. Data on development of spatial mobility and the housing market was gained from the Czech Statistical Office online databases and also from the Regional Office of CSO in Plzen. The housing market and the reactions of the monetary authority in the context of liquidity surplus

The diploma thesis is mainly focused on the housing market and central bank's (supervisory authority's) potential reactions to risks arising from it. The thesis provides a broader perspective of the housing market so that the first part is devoted to the liquidity surplus as it is closely connected with the housing market. The next part of the thesis focuses on housing price bubbles and subsequent bursts as well as the tools of the central bank (supervisory authority) to mitigate such risks. It is discussed whether using monetary policy to affect house prices that do not reflect fundamentals is advisable. Macroprudential policy with its tools is introduced as an alternative. Special attention is paid to the Czech housing market.
Social housing - comparison of Concept of Social Housing in the Czech Republic 2015-2025 and Austrian social model

The thesis is focused on social housing - public policy, that is applied in many countries of the EU. Czech Republic is currently trying its implementation. Due to rising household's costs of housing, rising expenses on demand-oriented housing policy in form of housing benefits and difficult to solve social exclusion, social housing appears to be one of the more accessible ways of solution. The goal of the thesis is at first to analyze and evaluate known forms of social housing and its application from the economic perspective, then to form reccomendations for the Conception of Social Housing for the Czech Republic in the period 2015-2025 using comparison to already-existing Austrian model. This text answers the main research question how does functioning model of social housing look like and what are the economic impacts of it on households.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate sector of housing called social housing, many times regarded sector of affordable rental housing. In this thesis, I intended to examine which tools are needed to increase availability of housing for certain groups of inhabitants who are not able to obtain housing in a free market due to social and financial reasons. Considering the sphere of physical availability, support of spreading of present housing stock and development of rental housing are of high importance. In sphere of financial availability of housing, the support is obtained from the distribution of financial budget which is designed as housing benefit and obtained by households with low income or by those dependent on supplementary benefits. For the analysis of the conditions of housing stock and of impact of deregulation of rent in households in town Karviná served structural conversation.
Apartment Rents in Hodonín and the Factors Affecting Them

This master´s thesis concerns in contemporary trade situation of flat and house rental in the city of Hodonín. It is focused on those factors that influence the amount of demanded rent and how the price gets changed due to their influence. It describes the historical development of housing in our area. Also, it considers flat and house rental in general and pays attention mainly to the mentioned area. It compares the amount of a usual flat rent of flats from the data collected in a market research and judges changes of its amount of flats type 1+1 and 1+kk, 2+1 and 2+kk, 3+1 and 3+kk, 4+1 and 4+kk. By data processing, overviews of rented flats and their summarization into charts and graphical as well as textual evaluation are set up. Maps marked with areas with the same rents are created for particular flat cathegories.

Historical block of flats development with its impact on market prices of flats on the present in Liberec

This thesis on historical development of the construction of residential buildings and its effect on market prices of dwellings currently in Liberec accompanies the issue of correlation between architectural styles and price currently. It is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is focused on explaining concepts such as housing, housing stock, housing market and its failure, which follows the historical description of the construction of residential buildings. In other chapters of this part is talking about urban planning and housing policy. The practical part looks at this issue from the perspective of a particular town, which is Liberec. For him the basic information about the local conditions, history of architecture and subsequently through the commodities market tested real estate prices mentioned correlation and era of construction. The main source of research is in the thesis comparing average prices per m2 for each building type. During and at the end, the results are commented and compared.

The diploma thesis is a summary describing of the current housing situation in the area of the village Vyškov. It deals with comparing the normal rent of flats in different localities of the municipality and consider amendments to the lease in terms of amenities and size of dwelling. The figures are divided into flats for a 1+1, 2+1, 3+1 and higher. Charting the market and its price in the lease is done both text and graphics.
