Cizojazyčné resumé Textual modifications of Lustig's prose The aim of the thesis was to discover the processes of Arnošt Lustig's interference into his previously published work and giving them the final form. In the beginning, there was a relationship - the Western culture´s Christian paradigm forming the image of man within the process of criminal justice
TÝMOVÁ, Kateřina
The present thesis paper deals - on theoretical level - with the importance and the gradual evolution of dialogicality of man within the context of criminal justice. In Western European cultural environment the image of man as dialogical being has been inspired by the Judeo-Christian tradition, approaching "the man in relationship" as an unlimited and transcendental form of being. In practical terms, a relationship has been perceived as the fundamental precondition in the process of restoration of a man and as an opportunity to re-approach the original absolute form of humanity, which is in harmony with God´s intention. The culturally accepted dialogical image of man has been reflected in shaping the specific form of systems and institutions created by man, including also the system of criminal law and justice, the main objective of which is enforcing justice. In the spirit of that cultural tradition, emphasis is currently laid on protection of and respect for dignity and individual rights and freedoms of man, and, thus, personal participation of the criminal conflict parties in the process of justice is required. Hence, in the persons of the offender and the victim, justice is rather becoming "the justice of dialogue and negotiation" within restorative justice, and it is so within the limits of law so as the participants´ individual needs and interests can be taken care of and obligations resulting from the conflict can be secured, to the maximum possible extent.
Collective Responsibility in the Book of Genesis
PLEVOVÁ, Zuzana
This work deals with situations in the Book of Genesis, where the collective responsibility was used and the purpose what it was used for. First of all, the basic concepts of collective responsibility, guilt and forgiveness are defined. After that the work includes analysis of texts from the Book of Genesis 12:10-20; 18:16-33; 20:1-18; 26:1-11; 34:1-31. In the last section these texts are discussed from the perspective of collective responsibility. The key question: In what situations in Genesis is collective responsibility used? The analysis of individual texts showed that collective responsibility in Genesis is associated with punishment or warning. Collective responsibility showed the direction, which had to be followed by the chosen people to go to God, and warned before departing from this path and distancing from God.

The theme of guilt in Czech prose of the 1960s
HOUZIMOVÁ, Eliška
The diploma thesis is focused on the theme of guilt in the particular texts edited in the 1960s. The theme is followed with regard to the phenomena of holocaust, transfer of Sudeten Germans, collaboration and communist regime. The ties between actual and fictional world are among others considered with a view to refer to the unique character of totalitarian regimes. One of the aims is to find out parallels between the Nazi and the Communist regime and the interface of their ideologies in terms of analysis, comparison and interpretation of the texts. Simultaneously, the narrative discourse is considered within context of the influence it has got upon the interpretation of guilt. The guilt itself is surveyed with regard to the philosophy of existentialism which contributes to the specification of possible ways of defining the particular offences and their evaluation, and at the same time helps to open new ways of discussion about guilt and possibilities of staying innocent as the significant phenomena not only in the realm of the literature of the 1960s.
Justice, Punishment and Guilt from View of Youthful
ERLOVÁ, Pavla
My bachelor thesis is focused on adolescents staying in the educational institute in Hostouň and attending the center of the probation and mediation service in Domažlice. The theoretical part in general describes the view on theology and penology to justice, punishment and guilt. Thereinafter, this thesis involves organizations dealing with juveniles who commit an offence and lists the most common offenses committed by juveniles. There are two research questions in the practical part (1st question: How do Czech adolescents understand conceptions of justice, punishment and guilt?, 2nd question: Why does the understanding of the concepts of justice, punishment and guilt of today´s Czech adolescents differ from the theological-penological definition?) A qualitative research was carried out with 10 adolescents. Answers to the initial research question suggest that, from the penological aspekt, adolescents mostly understand these penological concepts. To the second research question, it should be noted that the most adolescents come from divorced, incomplete or {\clqq}broken`` families. Relationships are impaired by family upbringing, young people cannot find an example of good behaviour in such families. They cannot acknowledge their parents who don´t love them, so they cannot find trust in them and therefore they find shelter at their peers and friends mostly dealing with the same problems.
