Electromagnetic compatibility of tram equipment
Gavshin, Ruslan ; Jarolín, Zdeněk (referee) ; Drápela, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of EMC of tram vehicles and traction system. The first chapter defines the issues that are then dealt with in the thesis. The next chapter lists the objectives of the work. Subsequent chapters analyze the issues described in chapter 2. In the last chapter, a flow chart is proposed, which should serve as a tool to estimate the hazards of the traction drive due to induced bearing currents.
Measurement system of Ripple Control (RC) signals
Čurda, Pavel ; Havránek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
The thesis deals with the introduction of the measuring instrument SVA - M on the market for compliance with electromagnetic compatibility and electrical safety requirements. Furthermore it deals with determination of measuring accuracy instrument SVA - M and measurement uncertainties. For the determination of accuracy there is a theoretical analysis and subsequent practical measurements.
Service device for automatic sanitary equipment
Kudláček, Martin ; Levek, Vladimír (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to inform readers about the basic principle of electronics for which the service module for the automatic sanitary technique will be designed, as well as design and describe the most important parts of the module theoretically. Likewise, the thesis deals with the most common mistakes in the design of printed circuits boards with respect to the resistance of the resulting device against interference. The implementation itself includes both module design and a communication algorithm for connecting multiple service modules and their remote control using the Raspberry Pi minicomputer. The thesis also contains a design of algorithm for verification of data transmission by the transmission system.
Antenna preamplifier for EMI measurements
Sedlák, Milan ; Urbanec, Tomáš (referee) ; Dřínovský, Jiří (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the design of a low noise preamplifier operating in the frequency range from 30 MHz to 1 GHz, usable for measuring and testing of electromagnetic interference in the electromagnetic compatibility test rooms. The introductory, theoretical, part is focused on the analysis and description of the necessary properties of the low noise preamplifier required for the subsequent design. The practical part deals with the selection of suitable components, simulation, design and subsequent realization of low noise preamplifier. At the end of the thesis the design and the final verification measurements are described and discussed.
Pre-compliance Electromagnetic Immunity Tests
Růžek, Václav ; Polívka, Milan (referee) ; Soldán, Josef (referee) ; Dřínovský, Jiří (advisor)
The doctoral thesis deals with aspects of pre-certification tests of electromagnetic immunity in the automotive industry. The thesis analyses commonly used test methodology and mentions that standardized electromagnetic immunity tests performed by certified testing centres, which are extremely expensive and represents a considerable time load in the development of the vehicle. The thesis therefore proposes innovative ways for replacement of certification tests with an acceptable level of uncertainty. Key methods are seen in numerical simulations and modified test procedures when the vehicle is exposed by electromagnetic field. The proposed methods are deeply explored and their benefits are discussed and support by number of experiments. The results obtained with the pre-certification methods are objectively compared with the results of the certification measurements by FSV method. The work brings a proposal for a comprehensive test methodology including a discussion of risks and uncertainties with related issues.
Tests of motor operarators for low voltage circuit-breakers
Mlynář, Zdeněk ; Polák, Jiří (referee) ; Valenta, Jiří (advisor)
Nowadays increasing demands for energy, safe use and automation in modern systems. The last two mentioned areas can now be relatively easily done using low voltage circuit breakers, along with accessories. The main element is a motor operator of circuit breaker that can operate fully automatically. But that could be the motor operator together with a circuit breaker is sold, it is necessary to fulfill a number of requirements. This work deals with their summarization, partitioning and sequential treatment of individual tests that are necessary for motor operator or required by customers.
Electromagnetic compatibility testing procedures
Kohůt, Miroslav ; Šlezingr, Jan (referee) ; Drápela, Jiří (advisor)
The theme of this work is to test the electromagnetic compatibility of appliances, work therefore the issue of electromagnetic compatibility and interference testing is mainly based on the interference sources (appliances) and electromagnetic susceptibility testing of appliances to interference. The work contains a description of each type of measurement of disturbances and immunity to both low frequency and high frequency. Bachelor thesis in its practical part deals with the implementation of selected testing according to applicable standards at the premises of the laboratory Institute of Electrical Measurement Electrical Power Engineering FEEC in Brno.
Electromagnetic compatibilty
Šimoník, Martin ; Hoder, Karel (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
This bachelor is focused on a problem field of electronic compabiliti as the technical side as same as biological side of it. This Thesis describes the basic concepts of EMC and also analyzis each legislative requirements and regulations of EMC. One part of this thesis include designing a test procedur for verifcation of EMC pressure measurement technology of BD SENSORS company and realization of it.
Coupling mechanisms of transmission interference
Chromý, Stanislav ; Vedral,, Josef (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
The primary focus of the Bachelor's Thesis is placed on description of dominant interference sources and coupling mechanisms of interference signals transmission from the source of interference into influenced system including main principles of minimization and elimination of interference impact on a system. A relevant part of the Bachelor's Thesis describes coupling mechanisms of interference signal transmission into a real cable system including derivation of theoretical coupling mechanism transmission and its subsequent verification by means of simulated non-harmonic signal measurement.
EMS Testing
Dušek, Michal ; Hoder, Karel (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with electromagnetic compatibility. Beginning of this thesis is devoted to general problems of EMC. Next part refers of the various tests for robustness. The next chapter deals with device Seaward Mace and a more detailed description of the resistance tests. The last part describes the test apparatus and implementation tests in the laboratory measurement of the Institute of Electrical Control and Instrumentation FEEC
